I thought I already had this thread. Maybe it was a journal entry.

LilyMunster mentioned today that she's tried the Pink Floyd and Wizard of Oz trick.

The trick as I heard from MTV back in the late 90's was to put the music cd of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon in a player and set it to repeat the album.
Then put Wizard of Oz in and when the MGM lion roars the third time you hit play on the music cd and turn the tv sound down. Then it will appear as though the music follows the movie.
This was before they re-released Oz with the extra features. I ended up buying a collectors set for $100 that had the VHS tape as well as some other goodies.

I tried it with Dark Side of the Moon and it did in fact seem to be following along. And when the cd started over it still seemed to be following along.

On a hunch I also tried other Pink Floyd albums and they too seemed to follow along.
I tried The Wall which has 2 disks and it seemed to work.
And these

The Division Bell
A Saucerful of Secrets
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
A Momentary Lapse of Reason

All seemed to work

Then while reading the insert of an Alan Parsons Project album I read that he had worked with Floyd on something and since I already had a couple albums I gave them a try.
They seemed to work too.
I've tried

Eye In The Sky
Amonia Avenue
Vulture Culture

Ok so I might be looney at this point but I also tried
U2 - The Joshua Tree
Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed

Seemed to work to me.

Unfortunately its not quite as easy to go out and try this because since then there have been reissues of some albums and changes made to them so if you don't have the version I used it may not seem to work as well. Plus I have no idea if the newer Oz works or not because they added in stuff and changing the timing could throw everything off.

No, this Lunatic has never been on the grass.
