Yay! I can't wait to see Messyhubby on Breakfast Television tomorrow. I have to be up bright and early for it. There are three segments with his circus group and he does a back-from-commercial intro thing for them.

Can't wait! Circus time! Doo doo doo-doo doo-doo doo doo doo-doo...

Um, if anyone watches, he'll be riding a unicycle cause that's what he does 24x7. :D

He rides a unicycle 24/7? What kind of job does he do? Sounds like fun.

He just finished his job yesterday, but he's an animator. He unicycles at the studio. It's his baby and always at his side.

Sounds like fun but I think I would break my neck. I'm doing good to balance on a regular bicycle. :P

Hey MessyHair, I have been wanting a unicycle for years. I have not done anything about it, do you know a good Manufacturer of unicycles? Could you ask hubby what kind would be good to learn on?

Hubby says any kind is good to start with just to see if you like it. He really likes his Kris Holm mountain unicycle (wider tire), but he started on a cheapy no-name uni.

He recommends http://www.unicycle.com for looking at the different unis available. They have kits that include how-to stuff for beginners. He taught himself through trial and error and looking at stuff online. He's been doing it for less than a year, I think, but he's fairly advanced for that amount of experience because it's his primary method of transportation. I just can't believe he can bring groceries home on it. But he does.

I definitely recommend shin pads because that's where the pedals insist on whacking me every single time I get on it.
