Update From Purplebubba

I don't know if anyone has read my latest journal entries or not but my Dad has been in the hospital for a few weeks now. And his situation is as such that he needs to be transferred to a special nursing home with more advanced care such as the dialysis that he is now on. He's probably going to be there the rest of his life however long that is. So I'm going to be going back and forth to that place from now on.

My niece is here a lot. Her Mom's company has her traveling a lot for doing demonstrations. So the Monster has been spending weeks at a time here. And will be here again early October.

So those are the main things which keep me from doing as much.

I am still playing video games and I do not see that stopping. I hope that doesn't bother anyone but it's half of what keeps me sane.

This site is the other half. I'm going to be around. You may see me online here or posting elsewhere or doing all kinds of things online. But I might not be on my messengers. I have not had them on much for weeks.

This site and you all mean the world to me. And I don't want my lack of activity to make anyone think that I've given up on anything or that I'm purposely ignoring anyone. Those projects and things that I mentioned wanting to start are still very high on my list of things I intend to do. But I don't know when I'll do them.

The bottom line is I'm still going to be around. I may be more active, less active, or you might not notice any difference at all. And it could be different from day to day. I may be on the messengers and I may not.
I'm basically saying I'm sorry for not being as active as I want to be. And I'm sorry I haven't been chatting as much as I'd like to.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope things can work out for you to spend quality time with him.

Glad to hear you get to take care of the monster instead of some stranger. You are a blessing to her and her parents. One little suggestion and you may want to get the OK from her parents is to see about a preschool play group. They may meet like once a week at a playground (indoor or out), But it could be good for her (any you to take a rest).

Just a thought.

I have not been on here much either but mostly because I am trying to cut WAY back on my on-line time. We game in the evening and I am trying to work out the better time for me to do my surfing of all the places I so regularly visit. I have also been on LHC a bit getting some extra long hair helps. (and giving some too).
