Anyone else have these IS IT ME???? moments?

geeeez. I was in arby's grabbing me and the kiddo a jamoca shake and it was soooooo hot.. so I grabbed my hair and pulled it up over my head and held it there. All at once I was overwhelmed with the smell of B.O. I turned my face to the left and the smell got stonger. LMAO>>> I DROPPED MY ARM!!!. I kept smelling it and couldn't figure where the smell was coming from. I'd just taken a shower an hour earlier so it couldn't be me. Or could it? I'd just been tossing 5 forty pound sacks of playsand around in walmart parking lot... then had to push them inside... (and it's a super walmart) push them miles to get my milk.. push them back miles to the check out. Then push them BACK OUT to the parking lot to lift them out of the cart and into my trunk in 100 degree heat. To say I was sweating???? yeah.. I was sweating a bit... but not profusely so it MIGHT be me. I gave the kiddo a sniff test and it wasn't him.

Well... I'm doing the sniff test now after unloading the stuff when I got home and after baking cornbread.. I smell like secret pit stop, so it wasn't me. Fresh sweat doesn't smell that rancid anyway. An open gym locker didnt smell that bad. blech

WHY DON'T PEOPLE BATHE? There were no men near me either. I could MAYBE understand if someone had been working really hard in the hot sun, but only women dressed rather nicely were around me.

I just saw your posting now - ugh, I know what you mean about that rancid smell!!! People on the bus smell like that all the time. In fact, when I got on the bus a few days ago, there was one seat free so I took it... and immediately found out why it had been free. The man in the next seat had the worst BO ever! It was very hard for me to keep my breakfast down. :tdown: How can a person smell that bad??

There was a lady in our church who hardly ever bathed and if you sat next to here you couldn't breathe. The associate paster got a friend of mine to try to talk to her about soap and bathing but it didn't do any good. I don't know what her problem was, she wasn't dumb or anything. She moved away a few years ago. :yuck:
