Title: I'm Freezing!
Description: What the #$%$ happened to summer?!
Arianwen - July 12, 2006 04:31 PM (GMT)
It's 15 bleeping celsius here and rainy. While I enjoy not boiling in 30+ C temps anymore, I'm nearly freezing to death! LoL. SCREAM! SCREAM!
SchnauzerMom - July 12, 2006 04:46 PM (GMT)
Wanna trade places? It's supposed to get to 102 here today. Pant, pant.
Arianwen - July 12, 2006 05:28 PM (GMT)
102!!!?? Ave Maria (as my DH's gramma would say) that's a little too hot for me. How can ya stand it?! :o
It's hilarious when I talk to my MIL who is in Rio de Janeiro, and I tell her it's 21C here or something and she's like "muito frio!" (that means VERY COLD.)
21C is a nice mild day up here..
I am not sure what 21C is in F, but it's 21 degrees above freezing. Does that make sense?
SchnauzerMom - July 12, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
The only way that I can stand it is to wear shorts as much as possible, drink lots of ice cold drinks and stay inside near the AC. I'm a hot blooded person so cold weather feels good to me. DH is the opposite. Makes it tough at night. He wants a quilt pulled up to his ears and I sleep outside the covers. I would blame it on hot flashes but I was this way before the hot flashes started.

Generally I prefer cool weather, too, but I can't deal with sudden temp changes like 30C t0 15C in a week or two....BRR!
I'm completely happy in -10c in Winter, I don't even need gloves! :o
SchnauzerMom - July 13, 2006 07:20 PM (GMT)
Went out to run a quick errand and saw that the temp here is 105. August is supposed to be the hottest month and this is just July! Can we just skip August altogether? :o
Arianwen - July 13, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
Good grief! 105?!! Global warming sucks :(. It's downright cool here again, they were predicting lots of rain later in the day. Yecch!
SchnauzerMom - July 13, 2006 07:35 PM (GMT)
I used to not believe in global warming, but I've changed my mind. I have a friend who has lived here (Oklahoma) all his life and he says years ago they used to get quite a bit of snow in the winter. Now we're lucky if we get a little dusting. Hardly needed a coat last winter. :o
Georgy - July 14, 2006 12:06 AM (GMT)
We had two weeks of rain and today it was 93 blah, what ever happened to 75 and sunny?
berries - July 14, 2006 12:17 AM (GMT)
I'm going camping and it's supposed to be 105. That's 40.55555555555556 for those using celcius.

It's always very humid here in the summer. It's been in the upper 90s and feeling like it's 115. Walking from the parking lot to a store will make your sweaty. :yuck:
Arianwen - July 14, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
Yuck, i hate muggy weather. We had a coupla days of muggy weather here and it was downright unpleasant.
