Title: How Does One Texturize Their Own Bangs?

I really liked how my stylist texturized my bangs, but have no clue how to do it myself.

Anyone?

I think the safest way to do this is to gather your bangs kinda like a ponytail and twist them. Then hold the tail kinda like a unicorn horn on an angle.
Then snip just a tiny bit off of the end of the tail. Then let go.

Another way is to grab small sections of your bangs and with the scissors pointed straight up cut little \/ \/ \/ cuts into them.

I guess it depends on what kind of texture you want. Some things texture the ends and others make the bangs more layered so some hairs are shorter.

Do you know which kind you want?

I used to when my bangs were thicker. They probably looked stupid, but I didn't think so at the time. You can buy some thinning shears at Sally's. If you do, be very careful to go over them lightly. In the past, I had been known to cut a few big chunks out of my bangs. Oops! LOL
