As you can tell we are getting spammed like crazy lately. I'm not sure why and not really sure how to handle it. It's basically the only activity here lately which sucks but oh well. So anyway, I am changing the registration process to see if it will help and I'm not allowing guests to view the board. We'll see if that will stop it.

I was going to wonder if new members would even bother joining if they can't see the board, but I am a member of another forum that switched forum services but kept the old forum alive, but hidden. new members have kept joining even though they couldn't see the forum, but then they didn't bother posting at the dead forum.

They've seemed to have slowed down a bit again on all my sites. Hope I didn't just jinx it.

Forum spammers are getting so freaken bad. It's the new loser thing to do. its even worse with phpbb forums. they'll register like 30 accounts per day wether they can post or not. (I use admin validation and clear the list, can easily tell spammers by names)
