Kaoru's bedroom

Elizabeth a servant taken in by the vampire king Vlad showwed the new guest to his room, she gave a brief history of the castle and stoppped in front of a door. She placed a old fanshioned key in the door and unlocked it. " This is your room Mr. Kaoru. I hope it's to your liking" she said and handed him the key. " Will you be needing anything esle?"

Kaoru held out his pale hand, accepting the key to his room from the girl. He turned around and walked into the space, judging it for himself. Finally, after a few moments, he turned back to Elizabeth. "Yes, it looks fine, thank you. I don't think I'll be needing anything else, though, so you're free to go, Ma'am.", he said.

Elizabeth smiled alittle him nodding once and bowwed. " Then enjoy your stay sir" she said and left the room and walked down the hall to the kitchen and helped prepare the blood for all the guests. Later that evening she returned to Kaoru's door with a wine bottle and glass but instead of wine in the bottle it was blood.

Kaoru opened his door and gratefully accepted the tray that held the wine bottle and the glass. "Thank you, Miss Elizabeth. I didn't realize it had gotten so late...", he said, setting the tray down on his table. He picked up the wine bottle and began to carefully pour the blood into the glass.

She nodded to him and smiled. " Yes It's about two thirty in the morning." she said and held back a yawn. She bowwed to him in respect because she was a servant and a human. " If you'll excuse me I must attend to the other guests." she and left.

Later that night she was serving other guests and tripped over a rug while trying to move fast around a room to clean it up and she crashed into a tv tray that had a almost empty blood wine bottle and and wine glass. The result was her falling and scratching the palms of her hands from landing on the glass shards that had dug into her hand. She ran from the room leaving blood on the handle of the door and went to the hosiptal wing where they were able to bandage her up.

"All right then. See you later, Miss Elizabeth.", Kaoru bade her farewell. He then turned around and walked back into his room, where he began to drink the chilled blood that had been brought to him.

A few hours later, Kaoru was leaning against the door frame of the entrance to the infirmary, waiting on Elizabeth to emerge. When he saw her, he gently waved. "Elizabeth, are you all right? I smelled your blood on the air and thought that perhaps someone had hurt you...", he explained calmly.

" If you need anything sir just ring the bell and I'll be there in a moment" she said with a soft smile and then and then the accident happened. She looked at her bangaded hands and sighed. " Clusmy me, cutting myself in a manor full of vampires" she said and shook her head.

Elizabeth was in her own little world when Lord Kauro saw her and she almost bumped into him. " I'm so sorry Mr.Kauro. I'm fine just dropped a tray in a guest's room. I was on my way back to clean it up from the flo-" she said cut off when the guest whos room was covered in her blood.

" You stupid human! That was an very exprseive rug you got your filthy human blood all over. If you were mine I would punish you servely for your clusmy act!" she snapped at her ignoring Kauro and got next to her ear. " I would drain you dry if we weren't in the manor. But Queen Mary won't allow that, watch your back human" she hissed and walked off.

Kaoru had been listening to Elizabeth's explaination of how she had hurt herself. There was a kind smile on his face the entire time. That was, until another vampire entered the room and began yelling at Elizabeth, even going so far as to threaten her life. Before the female vampire could leave the infirmary, he appeared beside her and got a tight grip on her arm.

"You've just made a very grave mistake, threatening Miss Elizabeth's life with such words.", he growled, digging his claws into her arm with force. "Perhaps we should go visit Lady Mary and I can tell her what you've just done. That sounds like a good idea to me."

Elizabeth was explaning herself to Kauro and then the female vampire slapped her and she fell to her knees after she had slapped her. " I'm sorry.... I was going to clean it. I'll go do it right now." she said standing and almost fell.

Queen Mary of the vampire race appeared and caught Elizabeth as she was about to fall and took her back in a flash to the hosiptal wing. " Rest Elizabet, what you did was an accident. It is alright, don't worry about work tonight. Rest I've had you work too hard. I am the one that is sorry." she said and smiled kindly to her and left closing the doors to the hosiptal wing. She glarred at the female vampire. " You are to leave now and never return. You have harmed a member of the staff and you are never return the punishment for returning is death" she said and sent the female vampire off. She turned to Kauro and took in a unneeded breath. " Watch her for me, please Kaoru. She has had it rough being left sick to die in the streets and I took her in."

"As you wish, my queen.", Kaoru replied, walking over to stand beside Elizabeth. "What would you like me to do for her? Take her back to her room?", he asked of Mary.

Elizabeth woke up and stood up and blinked and put her head under the covers. She had dreamed of vampires chasing her and then Mary appearing in front of her. The vampire queen had protected her once when she had been out late at the market and she had protected her again. Sitting up slowly pain shattered the dream and reality came back into play.
