Learn Your Surroundings, Young One, Invitations to Mary and Rauss

Just after midnight had come around, Kaoru had wandered out of his room. He had not been living inside the Vampire Manor long enough to have learned his way around just yet. But that wasn't going to stop him. The hallways just around his room seemed like as good a place as any to start learning his new surroundings.

The purple-haired vampire began lurking through the hallways, watching for any other signs of life around him. There had been none so far. However, that was no reason to think he wouldn't run into someone along the way... For some reason, he kept expecting one of the elders to jump out of the shadows and surprise him. It would have been just their style to do such a thing.

Eventually, Kaoru passed by a lighted torch, which illuminated a string of painted portraits hung up along the wall. His dark purple eyes glanced about at each painting in turn and he found not a single one to be of any real interest to him. "Oh, this is so boring...", he mused quietly to himself as he started walking again.

Rauss walks through the hallway as lost as he can be. He start to look and eyes catch all of the painting and statues that are in the hallways. Slowly reach towards on of the paints and gentle touch the frame “This craftsmanship great I’m wondering who did it?” Thinking to himself who lives here and I got to ask them who did fine work.

Meryll, was sitting in the shadows at the end of the hall with her head down. She was staring at a sketch pad in her right hand. Her left was moving so fast over the paper that it was a blur. Drawing was always calming to her, even if it was the middle of the night.

SHe heard footsteps and jumped. Then she tried to calm herself.

You're not the only one who lives here you know.

She saw the others but didn't say anythign. Meryll has always been shy, or as she preffered to call it. "Talk Selective"

she went back to doodling on her sketch pad.

Elizabeth one of Mary's friends who had helped her when she had gotten free of the dreaded Robert Black. She was a human living with the vampires amoung them. They were used to her and couldn't harm her on the queen would have them thrown in the dungon. She had a sword that had the seal of the Elmwood family and the seal of the queen which was a rose. Looking at the vampires she watched the arist with curious eyes but knew it was rude so looked at the one named Kauro and then at Rauss.

Kaoru stopped walking as he caught the scent of a human nearby. Was it another human servant like Miss Elizabeth? That is what he assumed. He then continued to walk down the hall until he came upon Rauss, who was commenting on one of the paintings hung up on the wall. The vampire stopped again, and smiled as he waved to the human.

"Good evening, sir. I don't believe we've met before. My name is Kaoru. What's your's, if you don't mind me asking?", he said cheerfully.

In the back of his mind, Kaoru was aware of the other vampire sitting at the end of the hall, and of Elizabeth, who was just a few yards behind him. But he decided not to address them, since they obviously wanted to be left alone for now.

Richie was walking down the hallway when he saw some one looking at one of the paints that he and Ronny had gotten c entries ago. He went up to the person before he spoke about the painting.
"That painting was done over 200 years ago in France,"said Richie "The artist has long since passed away but he did very good work when he was alive."

Rauss Turn around see the Kaoru standing “Ah!! Where did you come from?” Calms down and says “My name is Rauss.” Standing there waiting for the reply from the man now standing in front and heard Richie voice then turn around towards Richie “Ah!!! Where are you people coming from I’m sorry about that but you sacred the living day lights out of me?” Then reach in his pocket. “I was told to come here to repair some furniture for you?” Pulled out the request then hand it over to Ricihe. “My name is Rauss. IF you show me where the damage is i can get to work on it."

"So sorry to have scarred you Russ,"said Richie "I live here and just came down the hall. As for the broken piece of furniture that needs fixing it is down the hall in the living room. I'll show you were it is. Oh my name is Lord Richie."

"Nice to meet you, Rauss.", Kaoru replied, smiling softly.

It was then that another vampire came down the hall and started up another conversation with Rauss. Not wanting to interrupt them, Kaoru remained silent. The human was here merely to fix a piece of furniture... How dull. He was quickly losing interesting and thus, he turned around and started walking away.

Pulled out a piece of parachment and write down. "Meet me later Kaoru so we can get know each other better.after i finish my work at the bottom of it* Run behind him and slip it into his pocket and continue followed Richie . "Umm lord Richie can i ask you a personally question?" .Walk own the torched liten hallway and waiting for his answer. Thought to himself well they seem nice but i think they are vampires or something like that

"Of course you may ask me a personal question Russ,"said Richie "I get asked all kinds of questions all the time. "

Kaoru felt something being slipped into the back pocket of his jeans. He reached into the pocket and pulled out a letter. It was from Rauss; a message telling him to meet up later for a little personal time. Well, at least he now had something to look forward to...

Still walking with Richie "Are you a vampire?" Looking around the hallway as walking through it. Thinking to himself well what i'm going to talking now.

"Yes I am a vampire,"said Richie "So is my twin brother Ronny. We are 300 years old. That is why there are so many paintings of us hanging on the walls that are in rather old frames."

Looks up from fixing the damage furinture scarp his hands on the furinture. "God damn it"Sucking on the wound. Damn i hate when that happens. Well i was thinking but wasn't sure. Goes back to working and keep geting scarp up while his working. Thinking to himself almost done and i got to meet Kaoru later. Finishes the with his work. " There it is done and it is good as new. Smiling and looking at his craftmakeship. Then stands up and dust himself off.
