Michael escorted her to her room and then entered it and locked the door and he shhhed her when she gasped with his gentle eyes and he was so hungry he could barely controll himself and he kissed her neck, brushing his fangs against her bare neck and then chuckled as she tensed and then bit into her neck and groaned when blood filled his mouth and drank fast and hard for not even a minute and he felt her body start to get alittle weak and he made himself stop for a moment and he lifted her up placing her on her bed and he continced sucking her blood until he was satified and he kissed her neck. Smiling he left the room and went about his business in the castle.

I nearly cried out at the sound of fangs piercing flesh, but I knew the result of my intrusion wouldn't be good. I waited until the fiend had left the room and flung the door open, racing to her side. She was extremely pale and just laying there on her bed. The idiot. How I loathed him at that moment and I wanted to go and hunt him down and kill him, give Elizabeth back every liter of blood he'd taken from her. I pulled her up and leaned her against me, stroking her hair. My mind found no words to say so I just stayed there, waiting for her to snap back to reality.

Elizabeth had blacked out when he was done drinking from her and she felt her body being moved and she groaned wanting to sleep and tried to push the person away but didn't have the strenght too. She felt someone stroking her hair and she leaned her head against the person's shoulders limp in their arms exshauted. She opened her eyes seeing that Cizin was holding her and she wanted to pull away to say she was fine. She wasn't. Blood ran down her neck from the wound where scars from previous bites were. She glanced at herself in the mirror and tensed alittle seeing how pale she was and her eyes seemed like the life had been taken from them as well. She closed her eyes relaxing alittle and started to drift into darkness. " Lord... Cizin.... what are you doing here?" she whispered.

My nostrils flared to the smell of her blood running down her neck but I stayed still. I wouldn't drink from her and I could resist the temptation while holding her in my arms. I took one finger and wiped the blood off her skin cleanly, then wiped it on my pocket hankie. I took out the hankie and laid it over the bite marks. I could see the blood start to poke through in tiny circles, so I placed my hand there and put pressure on it. I held it there to hopefully stop the bleeding.

When she leaned her head against me I smiled. It was probably more out of exhaustion rather than actually trusting him, but it was okay either way. When she started talking I put my hand to her forehead to make sure she wasn't getting fever, then replied Why my dear Elizabeth I'm here to protect you. Why else would I have you in my arms in your chamber? Now, do me a favor and sleep for a while.

She gasped as his finger touched her neck and tensed alittle when he put pressure to her wound and his freezing hand on her forehead felt really good but she hadn't broke out in fever. She smiled when he talked and nodded. " Thank you Lord Cizin.....Your very kind" she said and she hugged him and then fell asleep in his arms and the wound stopped bleeding and her arms fell to her side.

I smiled and hugged her to me, curling her into a more comfortable position. Temptation to her blood had always been there, but I am a good vampire now and I refuse to drink from anyone who isn't willing. Not many people are willing these days, but that's okay. I can live from the blood I'm given.

I stroked her cheek and waited patiently while she slept.

Elizabeth slept in his arms her breathing normal and her body returned to a normal temputure and the color came back in her face. Her dreamed were fuzzy and she couldn't remember half of what she saw. Waking up she snuggled closer to him and then opened her eyes and everything came back to her. She tensed thinking it was Michael holding her but she looked up at saw Cizin. She relaxed and smiled to him and then looked at the clock and moaned. " I don't want to go to work" she said leaning her head against his chest.

I returned her smile, then threw a glance at the clock as well. It was, of course, broad daylight by now, and I knew the chances of smuggling her out of here in daylight were slim to none. However, I had my ways. I stood with her in my arms and walked swiftly to the window. I opened it and looked out. I couldn't see anyone for miles, so I looked at her.

Work? Who said anything about work? I thought we agreed that you'd come home with me.

She looked at him and then sheilded her face from the light and she looked at him. " what are you doing!?!? The sunlight won't it harm you" she said paniced to him and then told him. "No I won't get you in trouble... Not because of me" she said to him. " He'll come after me if you do take me, he'll know where to find me" she said with a shudder wanting so badly to go with him.

I chuckled and set her carefully down on the bed. Then I pulled a pair of black gloves out of my pocket and slipped them on, the combination of them and the long sleeves I wore covering my arms. My shoes and slacks covered my legs, and all I needed now was my cloak. I held up a finger for her to wait a second, then dashed off toward the living room. I was back in about thirty seconds, cloak in hand. I swished it on, tying the string and pulling the hood over my face. Only from my mouth down showed and it was shadowed perfectly by the edge of the cloak. I looked my most menacing that way, but it was the only way I could move about outside in the daytime. I pulled my hood back to show my face and walked over to Elizabeth. I scooped her up in my arms, my cloak covering her like a blanket, and pulled my hood back down. Now she could see my face under the hood and I walked back over to the window. Now I finally replied to her silly comment.

Elizabeth, vampires are strong, fierce creatures, as I'm sure you know. I am a vampire and your master is a vampire. How often do you see human fights with no weapons that end in death? It doesn't happen too often and if there's one thing I am sure of it's this: I am in no way afraid of your master and there is no way I would put your life in danger to preserve my own. Even though the idea of my own life being in danger against your master is ridiculous.

Elizabeth sat on the bed and then saw him disappear and then reappear all in black and she listened to him as he talked and a chill ran down her spine as he picked her up. " Lord Cizin" she whispered and then hope and being rid of this awful place rose in her soul. " Yes your kind is very strong....." she said as her memory transported her back in time when she saw her master and his ex friend fight each other when she was really little. She had watched them in mostly blurs but then it all stopped when she saw Max rip out the throat of the other vampire and she paled and shuddered and snapped back the present. " Can we go?" she asked her eyes glued on the door frigthened.

I stroked her hair in attempt to calm her and then stepped onto the windowsill. Before she knew it I had jumped out into the sunlight and landed in a nearby tree. We were out of the house and now all we had to do was escape the grounds unnoticed.

Hold on to me Elizabeth.

I walked across a branch and broke through, then began running along the ground. The trees blurred past us and it felt as if we were gliding. My shoes barely touched the ground as we raced toward the gate, then I made a huge leap and cleared it from ground level. I skidded to a stop and sighed, looking back at the manor.

It's all downhill from here. I turned and began walking. I was going to take her home.

She relaxed when he stroked her hair and then she clung to him as he jumped and she closed her yees shut tight and then she opened them when he said it was all down hill from here and then she thought her heart was goig ot explode. " I never ever want to do that again" she whispered and noticed her nails were still digging into her skin. " I'm sorry " she whispered and then gasped that she was free.

I chuckled softly and smiled at her. You might have to get used to it. Running and jumping have to be my favorite modes of transportation.

I looked around. Now...which way was home?
