Rekat pulled himself to his feet. Trank looked at Drav

"It's time"

The whiteness dissapeared, as drav kicked Rekat one last time.

Rekat awoke lying in a strange place. The ground was dusty, and two men he didn't recognise were there with him.

Jeath looked at Neelahn, considering what she had said.
“True.” he said “The man is lying. But he will still do what I tell him. I do not need Thymar, but I need his influence to control them.” he said, glancing towards three loitering on a street corner.
“They, the Bears, everyone will have their uses. For the time being.” said Jeath cryptically with a thin smile.
“Time is on our side. Once we have Ithel back, nothing will stop us. Envaz is only the beginning.” He linked arms with Nee’lahn again and strolled into the inn.

"Who are you?" Rekat asked the taller of the two men standing with him.

"He doesn't remember us" Trank said, looking at Dravity. "Perfect"
"I need you to do something. Find the group. Tirriq, Elondel, and the rest." Drav said, looking at Rekat. "search deep inside yourself, and you will know what I mean. When you find them I will return."

With that Trank and Dravity disapeared, leaving Rekat terrified, confused, and alone.

Thymar stepped into the darkened room. The curtains were thick and blocked out most of the midday sun, and its heat. He made out his mentor, the bed, and a empty chair next to it.
“Master Tannos, I am here” he said coming to the foot of the bed.
A sigh, then a dry chuckle that evolved into a rattling cough came from under the covers.
“How many times Thymar. You don't need to call me that” said the older Grey once the cough had ceased. He beckoned to the chair.
“Sit down”
Now Thymar could make out Tannos’s features. He was older, old enough almost to be Thymar’s father. His blond hair, though still thick, was starting to become streaked with silver, though his face bore relatively little marks of ageing. A handful of fine lines were all else that could have reviled his true age.
“Is it…” began Thymar.
“I don't know, but it’s bloody agony if this is what you are talking about” said Tannos, his eyes flicking to his heavily bandaged chest and back.
Thymar turned and moved closer, his face angry.
“Just give me the word, and I’ll have all the bastards that did this to you on the end of a pike.” vowed Thymar. “And a few more besides!”
“NO!” Said Tannos, grabbing Thymar’s hand.
“No-one else dies because of me. No more death!” His tone wasn't angry, but intense and strong.
Tannos stopped. His student’s eyes were watering. The older Grey realised it wasn't pent up emotion either.
“Sorry” he said moving his hand away from Thymar’s.
“No, its quite alright” said Thymar, wincing and reaching for a tissue to stem the flow of blood from 4 shallow gashes in his hand.
“I didn't realise” said Tannos apologetically.
“Something else is troubling you. What is it?”
The question caught Thymar off guard.
“Its… it’s Nee'lahn. The Prince’s piece. I don't know if she's just stupid and short-sighted, or if there's something far worse going on. She's in his bed for crying out loud. They aren't married even, and he's ruled by her. I don't like it. You know he’s done away with a lot of the noble families of Ithel since Envaz? Removed them from power. He’s done away with the only moderators of his power. I dont think it was entirely his own doing or idea.”
Tannos considered this.
“… Don't be aggressive Thymar, but don't be a fool either. She may well be harmless, but don't giver her a rapier and turn your back either. Something unpalatable is occurring though I’m sure. Try not to put yourself in a difficult position.”
Thymar nodded.
“Who were those people you told me to shelter in the hospital? They seem to have been following the army around. They are naught but trouble! Everywhere they go something sets alight, dies, or blows up. Why must I lie for them?” asked Thymar.
Tannos settled back.
“They… are important. I cannot exactly say why Thymar. They have already been an aid to us. I would not be talking to you but for Kameru and this.. "Sevossi".”
“But what about the hospital?” said Thymar in exasperation.
Tannos laughed again.
“Screw the hospital. It wasn't ours in the first place, was it?.”
Even Thymar had to smile at this statement.
“No, it wasn't.”
“So. Never mind the place. Keep and eye on that pack, but keep an even closer eye on Nee'lahn and the Prince. He is an strong, arrogant man with power– the most dangerous type. And Thymar– my time may soon be up, but not now. And not like this. Do not concern yourself with me.”
His charge hung his head and looked away. Tannos sighed.
“Do I make myself clear Thymar?” Tannos hated saying it, but it worked. And in a situation like this, it was what mattered.
“… Y’s Tannos”
Tannos smiled. There was a little progress after all.
“Don’t fret yourself. Events happen, or they don’t, so there is no use worrying.” said Tannos soothingly.
“Now go on Thymar. Let me have some rest.”
“Yes Tannos. Thankyou” said Thymar. “Get well soon.”
Tannos closed his eyes as the younger stood, walked to the door, and left him in peace.

Rekat felt like he'd been walking for hours. The actual length of time he'd been walking was, in fact, utterly irrelevant, as he didn't know where he was going. He'd decided that he was probably insane. He considered talking to some trees or something, but in the end he decided that seeign dissapearing people was insane enough. He did what they told him to do, because he wasn't sure what else to do.

He was told to look deep inside himself, but all he found in there was laziness. So he did the natural thing, and began walkign the way that was downhill. He was looking for a group of some kind, but he didn't have a clue as to the specific ideas of who or what this group may consist of.

Tir stuttered inarticulate vowels for a few seconds and took a step back from Elondel, reluctantly releasing her grip. He had hardly hugged her back. Her mind took a brisk journey through the past few days events, if she tried to tell him all that had happened she would get confused, lost, forget things and digress a lot. She was just amazed and thankful to have Elondel back.
However the manner of his return puzzled her. Returning from the dead? He had always said death wouldn't stop him, she didn't think he meant it, but it did raise the question; did he die at all?
He was looking at her like THAT again. THAT meant that she would not get away or change the subject until he knew what he wanted to know. She was held in that clear blue gaze like an insect trapped in amber. She did the only thing she felt she could do.

She grinned hopelessly at him. "Too much to tell." She then realised something. "HEY, you magicked me to sleep!" She playfully punched his arm and regarded him in scornful mock anger.

Elondel soothed his arm with his free hand and playfully hit Tir with his staff.
"Don't worry about telling me, im sure i'll find out myself soon enough." smiling, twatting Tir with his staff and running off in the opposite direction, just like a playfully child.

Tir watched in disbelief as Elondel ran off and rubbed her head. She was going to run but she hesitated. Something was different, but she couldn't put her finger on it. After all it wasn't like he hadn't hit her with his staff before.

Grinning, Tir decided to be ladylike and ran after him shouting something incoherent but vaguely like "I'M GOING TO WHACK YOU SO HARD YOU'RE GOING TO WISH YOU NEVER CAME BACK!" With that defiant battle cry she dived and wrapped her arms around his knees.

Kameru had been grumbling, a low, continuous incomprehensive mutter.
Then elf hit the ground right below Kam's branch.
In one move she pulled up her feet to rest on the branch, and leaned forward slightly. Then she pulled a face at Elondel, sniffed derisively and hopped from her branch and wandered off with a leisurely, unhurried air to the comparative safety of the clouds of smoke that signified Dervel’s whereabouts.
She sat down a couple of yards from the large man and started to doze off in the sun a safe distance from a squabbling and bickering Elondel and Tirriq.

Rekat had been walking for several hours. He wasn't sure where he was, or where he was going. He wanted to go back home, and find his girlfriend, but he wasn't sure where home was. And the crazy apparittion was pretty set on him finding this Tirriq person for whatever reason.

Eldamari stalked through the woods close to the site where Elondel had made his reappearace, moving surprisingly quietly considering his size, but four sure hooves and years of survival alone in the wilderness lent him the silence of an owl as it swoops in for the kill.

Elda travelled swiftly through the undergrowth, searching for evidence of wild boar or just about anything else that he could bring down quickly, so that he could eat his fill and get down to the real buisness of hunting for so many people.

This could take a while he thought distractedly to himself.

Before long, Eldamari slowed to a walk, having noticed upturned earth close to the base of a large oak. Sure signs of boar, accompanied by spoor, still warm and moist meaning that the quarry was close. Judging by the tracks, it was a large female and offspring- unusual for this time of year. However, it was better than an arrow to the backside, so Eldamari followed the trail, dissapearing into a denser area of woodland.

Elondel felt Tir wrapping around his legs pulling him down.
with a little whisper and a flick of his staff he vanished in a vast swirl of purple glitter snow. leaving Tir to fall on the floor.
Elondel reappeared next to where she was lying.
"Give me some credit Tir, how many times have you tried to take me out!" he said laughing and slightly out of breath.

A gentle breeze danced round the room as the suns light hit the mirror infront of where Nee'lahn sat. She guarded her eyes from the beams harshness and turned away from her reflection. Slowly tugging at the ribbon, she released her hair and made her way to the bed. During her walk with Jeath the garishness of the sun had left her with a pounding headache. After entering the inn Jeath had left her alone so he could deal with the Bear prisoners.

Nee'lahn was glad to be left, it would give her time to think over the magickal presence she had felt last night aswell as the situation with the prince. As Nee'lahn lay down her only assumption was that Jeath was getting a bit too big for his boots and would have to be put back down to size. She had been a little too kind with her leverage with him and would have to make sure he did not seek for too much power. As for last night Nee'lahn was still not sure. She had the general idea but was not so forward to take the leap just yet, not until she knew the whole picture.

With a hollow sigh that was nothing but caused by frustration Nee'lahn's eyes began to droop. She'd only had her eyes closed for a few seconds when a persistant tingling sensation ran down her arm. Nee'lahn was up immediatly, streaks of black lightning dancing over her fingers. Just as her feet touched the floor a cold wind swept around her carrying purple glitter, Nee'lahn reached out to scoop a few fragments as the swirling wind ran around her picking at strands of her raven hair. In some views it represented the form a dragons and pheonixs but the Nymph was sure these aspects were light playing with her eyes. As quickly as the wind came it swirled back down to the floor and vanished, taking the purple hazened glitter with it. As the mysterious wind left Nee'lahn dropped her protection and looked down into her hand, picking at the still glowing glitter that remaind. The scent that came off it was familuar. A person she had met mixed with a sweet burning smell.

It was all clear to Nee'lahn now, she had been correct with her first guess. The mage had returned! With a glare bourn of hatred she stared down at the floor where the wind had appeared and questioned what she would do now. As she thought on how to get this Elondel on his own she grinded the remaining glitter in her hand and with a silent scream set them alight with blackened flames.
