Dear All,
Much to the credit and organisation of Brg. Forlorn Hope, a special event takes place every Saturday at 20:00 GMT, the same time as our Sunday practices; and this is the weekly Line Battle Night.
During the game which is held on our server, we play organised games in the style of Revolutionary War skirmishes with the public and have found recently that it provides a wonderful opportunity to practice in a real situation what we have learned and to perfect it. The event usually lasts about an hour but has been known to last longer, and you are free to come and go as you please.
I hereby invite you all to join in with this event regularly as it can be really quite fun and very beneficial to The Royal Recruits. However I must state that this is not a compulsory event like Sunday practice, and therefore the final decision will remain with yourself. Please do advertise this event to the Battlegrounds community as that will help increase the popularity of the event.
Any suggestions you have as to how we can improve the Line Battle Night are always welcome.
