The game is out on the 15th, so I am wondering who will get it. Jupa says if it works, we should play all together on the same server and team up and do stuff. I know atleast I and him + Grantel and Flotten are getting the game. Will anyone else?

If you are getting the game, please type a reply. Also, while we are at it. What character are you guys going to start with? During the beta I played with the Barb, though I am pretty sure I will first try out the Monk. Mostly because its the character that most resembles the paladin from Diablo 2, and it was my favourite character.

Also, since my old Logitech G5 2007 is full of lasagna grease, I ordered a new mouse for my epic Diablo 3 gaming: Steelseries Diablo 3 Mouse. YEAH

Beta = 5 % of Act 1, + as you know from Diablo 2. Act 1 Normal is like the tutorial. Do not worry, they added Inferno, which will make the game much harder than diablo 2 Hell Level, though Diablo 2 Hell got pretty easy after the synergy patch + the high runes.

Apparently a 4-pack of Torchlight 2 will cost the same as D3, lol.

Also, Torchlight 2 will have full support for mods and can be played offline (provided that Steam Offline mode works). And having a cute pet dog/cat/wolf/falcon/ferret... is an integral part of the game.

It was also made by some of the talent who actually made D1/D2 apparently, cos they all left Blizzard years ago.

I may buy D3 in 2023, cos i bought D2 11 years after it came out... Torchlight 2 looks cute, and is cheap, may opt for that instead.

If any of you guys played Diablo 2 in Hell and been as active as I and Mark was back in 2001 - 2006 and inbetween then and now, you will know why HP is very important for later levels. Maxing damage without thinking about HP makes you a glass canon, which is good if you are able to kill your enemies fast and being able to run away, but when you reach the later levels, AKA Inferno which is MUCH harder then Hell(TONS OF IMMUNES!), you will wish you also had HP and not only "Max Dmg".

Also, HP is VERY, and I mean VERY important in duels, Since if you have no HP there, bye bye. Diablo 2 LOD was all about PVP aftter endgame, unless you were a MF soso/pala and only spend time looking for good items. Diablo 3 will be adding PVP and Arenas in the next major update, so I am looking forward for that.

Back in the day in Diablo 2 on Ladder, if you skilled on anything which was not Vitality, you were basically wrong skilled from the start. The reason for this is that to make a top level PVP dude in Diablo 2 LOD. You had to have MINIMUM or nothing at all on Strength, Dex and Mana, since this would be supplied by ANNIs, Torches, or other items that gave to these settings. If any of you believe this is false. I invite you to duel with me in Diablo 2 and see how far you come. All my major characters are there.

OFC Diablo 3 does not have the same system, and gets more damage by having more attributes on their main "damage" attribute, but you still need to find a healthy balance between them all if you want to be able to survive in the later levels.

Completely true. Without HP = Dead in the water. THough for party play its not that important, but it is for duels and solo play

Yeah, less important in party, but you got to depend on others then, and I am building my character to support itself. During the final boss for example in act 2, Plexi, Grantel and zaamon died after 1 min, I lasted for another 1-2 min and forcing the boss down to 20% hp before I got owned.

I think that I had more hp than you had, but you had that angry immunity spell that helped you a lot.

P.S In 2nd attempt none of us died, and grantel survived with just 600hp while me and MPC had about 1500 :P

Its mostly for barb, but some of it is valid for others. Such as damage reduction with armor, resistance with intel, dodge ability with dex and blocking % with shields.
