Grr...are all crafts hard at lv 1-10, im hardly making anything off cooking, (but i am npcing boiled eggs = fail) but is this normal

Try looking at other recipes. Also double check to make sure whether the materials you need are cheaper to buy from an NPC vendor or from the AH as well.
