Drowner's Cavern
Drowner’s Cavern is the western exit of The Cave. Like all the ocean exits, it leads to the beach. However, it is the worst when it comes to flooding when the tide comes in. The water goes right up to the ceiling, making survival when it’s flooded impossible. This is a good place for fishing and a nice walk on the beach, but be careful when the tide comes in. It comes in and it comes in fast. Many an inhabitant of The Cave has drowned here.
This is neutral/unclaimed territory.

Flounder Bay
Flounder Bay is an excellent spot for walking on the beach and fishing in the ocean. It only floods when there is a big storm and is a favorite haunt of many small reptiles and rodents. This makes it an important source of meat for those brave enough to eat it.
This is Shield Territory.

East End Craghole
The East End Craghole is an opening to The Cave on the south side of the island. Like all other escapable openings, it leads to a seemingly endless ocean. This opening floods when the tide comes in, but not to the ceiling like Drowner’s Cavern.
This is Cur Territory.

White Light Tunnel
This is the only exit to the cave that leads to anywhere even remotely fertile. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to get out this way without help from above. With no footholds on the purposefully smoothed out walls, it’s the Alcatraz of cave openings. The force field over the island can even been seen when the lighting is just right. However, this is the only place in The Cave where any sort of plants will grow and an important source of food for the inhabitants.

The Water Hole
Just when you thought seawater was all the rage, you find out there’s a watering hole. This is the only source of fresh water in or near The Cave that is accessible to its inhabitants. It’s located near the center of The Cave and is fed by an underground spring. There are plenty of fish here, but recreational swimming is not recommended. Large, shark-like fish lives in these waters and they’re dying for a meal bigger than the smaller fish who live there. Don’t fall in.

Tunnels and Caverns
All other tunnels and caverns in The Cave are generally dark to the point of being without light. Anyone who is dropped off at the cave in these places is liable to be very paranoid about the rest of The Cave and its inhabitants.

The Source Den
The Source Den is thought to be the place of origin for The Cave. It is a round room with spiraling paintings of animals from land, sea, and air adorning the walls. This also happens to be the place that most new people get dropped when they are first put in The Cave.

The Marking Place
Every place has its history and The Marking Place is essentially the recorded history of The Cave. Just about everyone who has come to The Cave has left their mark on this wall. It also doubles as the meeting place and the general living space of many inhabitants to The Cave.

Fresh It Hole
Fresh It Hole is an opening in the rock about halfway up the side of The Cave. It sits above and to the left of Flounder , but getting down to the beach is impossible from this area. Jagged rocks and fierce waters wait for anyone foolish enough to fall from this hole. It does not provide any plant growth. However, it does provide fresh air and light.

Hole in the Wall
Hole in the Wall is a cave opening that sits above the water just to the right of Drowners Cavern. There are no rocks sticking out of the water below this, but the ocean is very unpredictable and boasts strong currents. Again, no food growth, just fresh air and light.

The Ring Nut
The Ring Nut is a room near the center of The Cave on the second floor where the hole is that lets light come through. It is generally a little lighter than other areas of level two and one of the main roads.

The Forest
The forest is home to many, if not all of the different groups on the surface. It is a valuable source of food and shelter, though rain is a common occurrence.
--All territories of the surface are found here.

The River
The river is a great source of water and food. Although it is far from necessary and not exactly safe to just drink the water straight up, it is a valuable resource for cooking and washing. It also leads up to a pool that's excellent for swimming.

Bather's Pool
This probably one of the best features on the entire island. It's a deep, freshwater pool with no known predators in it. There are a few little nasties like a form of leeches, but really, if they aren't going to kill you, are you going to mind?

The Hole
This mysterious place, known only as The Hole, is a crack in the ground at the center of the island. This hole is the shaft that leads all the way down to the ground level of The Cave. Those on the surface see only a black hole and there are many stories told about it. These survive from a long ago time when some actually made it to the surface. One thing is certain, however, no one wants to fall back in.

The Gathering Place
This is a place for trade, neutral ground for every group and the laws forbid it being claimed by anyone. It's also a popular place for rituals, if you're into that sort of thing. These aged steps are the only group of ruins currently discovered on the island.
