Ayr United 1-2 Peterhead
Two goals in a minute helped Peterhead to a first league win of the season and sent Ayr crashing to a third home defeat in a row in Division Two.
Gareth Wardlaw fired Ayr into a deserved lead after good play by strike partner Jerome Vareille.

But Peterhead took control and Graeme Sharp fired home spectacularly from 25 yards after the break.

Stuart McKay drilled home the second before Ayr's David Lowing was sent off for a wild challenge on Stuart McKay.

Brechin City 2-0 Alloa Athletic
Stuart Callaghan and Richard Walker scored against their former club to give Brechin City a deserved win over Alloa Athletic at Glebe Park.
Brian McColligan headed clear off the Alloa goal-line after early pressure before home keeper Craig Nelson denied Mike Hazeldene an opener.

A shot from Brechin's Chris Geddes struck the post.

But Callaghan's tremendous 25-yard volley broke the deadlock before Walker blasted the second from 40 yards.

Cowdenbeath 1-2 Morton
Morton stretched their lead at the top of Division Two with a narrow win away to second-placed Cowdenbeath.
Stewart Greacen powered a header past David Orr into the back of the net from 10 yards after a Jamie Stevenson to give Morton a deserved lead.

Another Stevenson cross allowed Jim McAlistair to shoot home from 12 yards.

Markus Paatelainen bundled home a Liam Buchanan cross before from Pat Clarke, Paatelainen and Innes Ritchie all came close to grabbing a late equaliser.

Stirling Albion 3-1 Forfar Ath
Stirling won their first home Division Two game of the season by effortlessly disposing of a poor Forfar side.
Marek Tomana's 25-yard free-kick scraped through a packed defence and trickled under unlucky Forfar goalkeeper Stuart Murdoch.

Colin Cramb wrong-footed the entire Forfar defence to coolly fire home.

Forfar's Gavin Beith was sent off for a second yellow card before Albion substitute Dene Shields deftly headed home from a Cramb chip.


Stirling: Hogarth, Nugent, Forsyth, McNally (Hay 72), Roycroft, Fraser, Steven Bell, Tomana, Cramb, Cashmore (Shields 63), O'Brien (Taggart 40).

Stranraer 1-4 Raith Rovers
Craig Levein got off to a dream start as Raith Rovers manager as his side romped to victory away to Stranraer.
David Hamilton had Stranraer ahead after only three minutes, but Ian Harty's flick-on allowed Paul McManus to pick his spot from close-range.

Will Snowdon's disastrous pass was intercepted by Neil Janczyk and Harty finished another from close-range.

Harty's low drive squeezed home and Brian Fairbairn's 25-yard drive fooled home goalkeeper Allan Morrison.
