Well guys and gals it's been one helluva run but all good things sadly must come to an end. But, that's not to say we've given up. Quite the opposite to be honest. The Idea.

To survive, we must take from the living. They fear us greatly, but we cannot change our ways. We cannot live without the living. Each passing generation, a little more of us is worn away, our bloodline growing thinner and weaker. Soon, we will be nothing but mere shells, husks of our former selves. Growing ever more vulnerable, we wane away into the night. We are the scourge of the earth, the cursed among the blessed.

We have existed along side mankind since the beginning of time. Hiding our true natures from humans that would simply never understand. Through the centuries, rogue vampires have preyed upon them. Turning beast into monster and myths into legends. We simply desire what every other living creature wants, to live - to love and laugh. To survive. But, it is not in man’s nature to accept that which is different. There are those that see us as nothing more then monsters that must be destroyed.

Over the years we have managed to integrate ourselves into society as doctors, policemen, lawyers and yes even politicians. Much like a chameleon we have learned to adapt and take the shape of society, fitting in whilst there are still those amongst us that refuse to hide their true nature, it is they that have made us become the hunted.


The Roleplay.

Generations of vampires have been born and thusly passed away. Each elder becomes such when they have been appointed by one that is dying. They make the rules that all vampire kine must follow for they have been made to keep us all safe. But, there are those that want more, yearn to be free from the traps of society.

So, therein lies the danger. Rogue vampires have been the bane to our very existence. Humans hate us, despise and fear us because of those few that hunt and prey upon them. Their own mortality lets them forget that a raging beast lies within us all and we vampires are not the only ones capable of great evil. It is because of these few, that we've been made into monsters and thusly we have become the hunted.

As our race begins to dwindle....more and more of our kind are stepping forth, and only fear of the elders' wraith has kept them at bay but for how long? For every creature is born with the instinct of survival...
