On Sept. 11^th, 2001, terrorists attacked the United States of America. In retaliation to the attacks current President George W. Bush declared war against the terrorist organization known as Al Qaeda. By late 2004, early 2005 things looked just about won for the American Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, but little did they know, things were going to come to an abrupt end for the life they knew.

On January 3^rd, 2005, bombs started falling from the sky. It turned out that the Iraqi people did indeed have the WMD's that the President had been looking for. Billions were killed, as not only had they struck out at America, but much of the remainder of the world as well. In retaliation, many missiles were launched, essentially killing three fourths of the worlds population.

Five days after the detonations, any survivors entered the hell that was the apocalypse. Two threats became the enemy of unaffected people. The first, known as the terrors, severely mutated humans with violent aggression. The second, zombies, the undead come back to life. It is these two nightmarish creatures that could mean the extinction of humanity.

In the Northwoods of Wisconsin, several people came together and fought for the right to live in peace amongst what could possibly be the last group of humans on Earth. Originally they thought it was just going to be a last stand against the hordes of terrors and undead that hunted them, but in the end they were successful and managed to build a more simple life for themselves in the middle of nowhere. But they have never truly been safe, even behind their wall.


Currently On TotN...

Resources have been growing thin as of late, people are getting restless with the thought of another oncoming winter. With supplies running out, requests coming in, and a growing number of threats outside the walls of Pine Valley it is becoming harder to get out of the city safely.

With gasoline becoming more and more precious a resource, the council has opted to begin searching out other means of power, one being tapping into a power plant and setting up a full electric grid in the town or making a wind farm-like area that powers the town. Both are hard enough tasks in their own right, but something must be done to reserve fuel for more important functions.

Meanwhile, the town itself is doing the best they can to prepare for the oncoming winter, however before winter comes they must survive what has been known around the area for generations as 'tornado season' due to the many tornadoes that have hit around the state around the coming months. What the next season will bring about for the townsfolk remains yet unseen, but one way or another they will have to work through whatever gets thrown at them if they are to fight off extinction.
