Hey everyone,
I am editing a scene now that I recorded in a closed room with hard floors and glass walls... Had no other place to film this thing..Well, the audio (one person speaking) is very sounds bassy with a lot of echo, like someone speaking in a classroom. I don´t know a lot about audio...So what filters can I put on this (using FCP 5) in order to improve the sound (especiallly kill that "I am in a cave" echo). Thanks for any thoughts! Phil |

I would export the audio to Soundtrack and start there. The filter adjustments are much better and you have many more options. Sorry I can't recommend and exact filter to kill the echo, but try the parametric equalizer to work on the sound balance.
