FULL PERSONALITY. Lumi can be thought of as bipolar at times. One day she'll be happy and hyper and enjoying herself like she's a wild woman, and the next she can be as calm as a Buddhist monk, just sitting and playing her guitar. And then other times she's reliving her past issues and in a horrible mood. It all depends on how she wakes up in the morning, usually.
On good days, Lumi is easily excitable, and carefree. She enjoys having fun with her friends and playing in the band, but on bad days she'd rather be doing nothing but sleeping, or getting mad at anyone for any little thing. Lumi is the type of girl who will live life to the fullest, even if that means taking risks. She'll be the one to stand up in a moving convertible, or take the unknown pills at a party to see how good of a trip she'll have. And then there are the really bad times. Lumi has lots of issues with men that all derive from her past, and at times she can't help but relive these memories, which cause her to become easily agitated or hurt. So really, she's like a walking time-bomb about to go off.
Though rather open with her friends, there are things that she will have the hardest time actually telling people, and that includes everyone in the band. They're her closest friends, and she still hasn't been able to be completely open with them on some of her issues. She hasn't told anyone about her step-father, and as much as she'd like to have people completely understand her mood swings, she's afraid of what people would think if they found out about such a thing. But she figures that she'll come around and tell someone if she gets close enough with them. Perhaps if someone can manage to touch her heart the way she wish someone would, she'd be able to feel like she could just open up and say anything without feeling judged.

FULL HISTORY. Lumi's family moved from Romania only two generations ago to the United States, and they finally settled on the Californian coast. It wasn't until about a year before Lumi was born that her parents moved to San Diego for her Father's business. Luminita spent her childhood being home school and the like, but she began to watch her parents slowly slip apart. They were having issues, and it finally made it more apparent when Lumi was about ten years old; they divorced. Lumi ended up living with her Mother while her dad went to travel and photograph things.
He sent postcards often to give her the scoop on where he was, or what he was up to. Lumi was about fourteen when her mother remarried, and that's when things go really bad. Unbeknownst to her mother, her step-father was not the nicest guy in the world. He would rape Lumi on nights her mother would work late to keep up on bills and what not. This continued for a couple years, until her father came back from his travels with enough money to settle down comfortably and she moved to his place in a hurry.
Finally out of that jam, she began focusing more on what she loved to do most of all; play guitar and sing. During this time is when she went for an Audition to be lead Guitarist for Dash of Formaldehyde. She ended up with the position and has been with the band since; just enjoying the time she has out of the hands of her step-father. From the beginning she has always said she had never told anyone about the issues she has with her Step-dad, and the reason why she doesn't really like men. It just seemed to click more after she tried having a boyfriend before the auditions, and he just ended up being a jerk and breaking her head. Ah, High school Drama. She certainly doesn't miss much, and thus, the lie about her sexuality. She just doesn't want to be hurt again.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE. Charlie listened to her as she began to speak. Ah, so he was the only one? That was kind of to be expected. Her brothers were family, of course they'd know, and then Charlie was a Vampire. He could feel those kinds of things as if they were almost physical on a person. They used emotions to help figure out who they were going to end up preying on. Charlie still had the instinct, but he could never really bite anyone. Well, he could, but it wouldn't do much unless he planned on drinking them dry. Then he could, but sadly the young immortal could never change someone to be with him for eternity; he'd never be able to have that kind of bond with someone; to be their maker as well as their lover. He'd either have to find another vampire, an immortal, or watch their love wither like a beautiful flower and finally die while he would continue on living. He never liked the idea. He continued to nod when she mentioned not wanting to explain why she concealed her emotions the way she did.
"I understand, Rea. I'm sure if you told me, I wouldn't like it anyhow. You're strong, and I'm sure that's why."he nodded a bit more for himself. It was like his mother; dealing with horrible shit that caused you to harden. At least Rea hadn't ended up like this mother.

Listening to her go on about Sirius, Charlie just nodded again until she finished. He couldn't help but chuckle. "Ah, Rea. Don't give up just yet. I know people compare Sirius and I all the time, but honestly, I know myself better than he does. I may flirt, but that's because I really don't have any connections with other people. I like one person right now, not love, but would of liked to get to know her on a bit more...romantic level. But James likes Lily. I'm not going to do something like that to my best friend. He likes her more than I do anyway," again he shrugged. "Sirius just has no idea what he's probably feeling. Honestly, I see it. He act's differently around you than other girls, and he got super frustrated with you today. I'm sure that comes from being frustrated at what he's feeling--cause he has no idea what it is, and he doesn't know about your feelings. You use that strength of yours to conceal those feelings, and it's kind of hard to express to someone you are fond of them when they don't show you the same fondness. You know that already. You feel that, I'm sure Sirius does too at times, though he doesn't understand what he's feeling. I would. I'm far less stupid in that category--no offense, Sirius," he chuckled a bit. Oh yes, Charlie would know it if he ended up in love. His mother had explained the feeling to him many times as a child.

"I'm trying to get him to notice it. He gets jealous when ever I flirt with you, so I assume that derives from emotions he doesn't understand. I'll just keep up the flirting and see if I can't push him along. Though, I'd rather not get into a fight with Sirius. That would be bad for him, real bad," He shook his head, the idea was almost painful. "But hey, I've been doing the same thing with James for a while now and it slowly seems to be working," he grinned. "But James is also more aware of his own feelings, so yeah. Sirius is complicated in that department. He probably doesn't even know what he wants, really. If I were to sit him down and ask him to think of a girl he'd like to be with--make her up, he probably wouldn't be able to answer me in detail," Even Charlie could do that. But Charlie wasn't really looking for too many specifics.
He grinned as he made her laugh though, and he continued to smile as she mentioned telling him after Tristan. Ah, yes, have to tell the brother first. "Alright, I can live with that. As long as I got something to maul too, I'm good," he teased lightly and wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him.

Though, a sudden thought came to him as his mind traveled back to her not wanting to explain why she was the way she was. A familiar pain hit his chest and Charlie pulled away lightly and gripped Rea's upper arms with a soft grip. He was going to say something serious, and he wanted her to understand that he meant it.
"But hey, what ever it is that has made you this strong...if it still continues, please--just come to my house. You're welcome there at any time; day or night. If things like that persist's for too long..." Charlie let his grip loosen before he dropped his hands and her looked to the side. He felt the burn in his nose and his eyes water a bit. He didn't want to think about loosing another person to insanity. He didn't want to. "I don't want you to end up like Μητέρα(1). I know I said my parents died, and that was only half-true," Charlie leaned back in his seat. He could feel the cold tears leaving his eyes as they trailed down his cheeks. He stared at the seat in front of him with a look of such ...misery. "Mama was strong too. Because of Dad..and.....because of him she's sitting in the Wizards insane Asylum in London," Charlie wiped at his face as he felt more of the cool tears slid down his cheeks and he looked at her, his eyes still filled with them. This part of his life obviously bothered him. "I couldn't handle going to see another person there...I don't want to see you end up like that, or worse...I couldn't...." Charlie continued to wipe at his face, trying to cease the tears from coming, but he found it hard once they had started. All this time, perhaps he too needed to have some of his own emotions released. Charlie couldn't remember the last time he cried like this...
