Welcome to the sweet city of North Conway, New Hampshire. There are some rules that you have to abide by when holding residency here.

01---REGISTER your first and last name in proper caps, for example; John Morgan.

02---APPLICATIONS: When you register you MUST fill out a bio for a Resident within 3 days. If you do not your account will be deleted. If more time is required please let us know.

03---ONE POST PER 3 DAYS/TWO POSTS PER WEEK MINIMUM. There’s no point in being part of an RPG if you never post. By joining the site it is understood you have agreed to these rules and to abide by them. This is a fast-moving site. Lengthy delays spoils it for everyone.

04---INACTIVE MEMBERS, that is members who have not TAGGED anything within three days will be notified by staff. If you do not respond to this PM within 2 day's time your characters will be made inactive and your accounts deleted. It is not our job to chase you. We all have lives outside this site as well.

05---INACTIVE CHARACTERS will be deleted from this site. Whether by execution or some other means it is open to our discretion. If they are executed they will not be coming back and you will have to start again. This is a Real Life RPG. That is why you MUST notify a member of staff if you intend to be away from the site for extended periods. It is an act of courtesy for all members on this site.


06---TIMESTAMP YOUR THREADS! As in date, and if necessary time and day - but DATE at bare minimum. This is so everyone else knows when things happen. YOU may know but extend courtesy to the rest of the site where possible so we make sure people aren't in two places at the same time. It's just smart RPing.


07---WORD LIMIT is free however we strongly recommend at least 250 words minimum. How much or how little you post is up to you providing you give others SOMETHING to work with.


08---BE CREATIVE. While this is a real life RPG we expect a certain degree of creativity in your characters and your overall plotting. A static character or a static plot (that is those that don't progress or evolve in some way over time) is not fun to interract with for anyone. Please be considerate and use your imagination; don't rely on everyone else to give you reasons to write.


9---BE NICE!! This board was made for the sole purpose of having fun and progressing our collective RPG skills. If you have issues with another member either notify a member of staff to mediate OR even better, leave it outside where no one else has to deal with it. Remember we cater for all levels of RPGer here so you may need to help others from time to time; we are a community here - this is what makes communities work.


10---ALWAYS CREDIT. Whether someone's made you a graphic; a sig/banner, an avatar, given you inspiration or so on, it is only polite you thank them even if they say it's not needed. A little respect always goes a long way.


11---SHARE IT. Don't be afraid to showcase your talents. Did you create a really awesome thread tracker, graphix, etc? Then share it and show others. Don't always take. Give too where and if you can.


12---ACT YOUR AGE. You must be over the age of 18 to join this site. This is a mature and real life site and therefore there will be cursing, sex, violence, and subjects of a sensitive or offensive nature. If you can't handle it or think you may be offended please don't join.


13---INTERRACT with other members. This is the backbone of RPGing. While over time many of us will form writing 'cliques' with people/plots we are familiar with, please do not limit yourself to who you write with. Again, we are a community. Try and encourage others where you can to plot with and write with you as this will have a flow on effect for all members. Don't register and lurk. Don't plot and leave. This screws up the plots of those that you've plotted your character with and slows down character progression. In short; Don't be selfish.


14---PURPOSE OVER PLEASURE: While there IS a large degree of freedom in this site regarding violence, sexuality, language and so on, we respectfully ask all members to take the site plot as well as other members into account and plot for their characters with A HEAVY DOSE OF REALITY. As stated elsewhere this site was not created for the intent of anyone's sexual gratification; while we understand a LOT of violence and sexual assualts can and do occur behind bars, we are more keen to see characters plot beyond mere carnal desire. Remember this is a prison, not a whorehouse. You can and do have the right to attack another in this manner should it fit your storyline, but we will NOT tolerate random and constant sexual attacks by any singular character. This impedes on the RP ability of others and goes against the general site rules. Please keep this in mind as you post and use commonsense.


15---DISPUTES should be sent directly to members of staff. If you intend to leave for a week's long vacation let us know. If you leave and wish to be re-registered let us know. The rules are in place for a reason and ignorance is not a legitimate excuse for breaking or bending them.

16---RESPECT STAFF AT ALL TIMES. Even we make mistakes at times but we expect a certain amount of respect and courtesy from all of our members. We will do our best to take your suggestions and considerations on board, but please bear in mind however that our decisions are final and we will not enter into debate if we feel an issue has been properly dealt with.

AND HAVE FUN
