¢¾ UPDATES ¢¾

6/17/07
Hello again people. There are a few people who joined, but haven't done anything with their accounts. So... I'll work on that. In the meantime, if people could ad. in HL or whatever other site, that would be great.
6/8/07
Not that anyone cares, but I'll be gone from about 6:00pm. central (U.S.) time, today, to sometime about 8:00pm tomorrow. (Sat.), so if someone emails/messages me, I won't respond till tomorrw.

Hi everyone! Subtle Lands is now officially open! Now, I'm aware that the layout isn't particularly great, but it's the best I could do with the HTML I had. I'm having two people make new layouts, but they won't be ready for a few days. And I just messed it up again... Now the whole thing scrolls... Great... If you happen to be an awesome HTML person, then be my guest in making another skin/layout.
Before I forget, an awesome person on HL made the pics you see at the top of the page. Thanks!
Now, we are going to need LOTS of members, and, hopefully, it will be active soon. I want everyone to help and find more people to play and be active. I know that it's dull, and boring, and takes forever to find people to join, but please do it anyway. Who knows? I might find so way to reward you all lol...

¢¾ The Story ¢¾

Long ago, the world was dark. Everything sat in silence for years, waiting. Finally, they heard the first hoof beat. Then another. And another. Soon there was a whole clammering of hooves striking rock and ground. A big, bright ball rose up in the sky, and the colors of the first horses could be seen.
A striking bay here, a blue roan there, a chestnut shining as bright as the sun over by the hill. And all of them looked different. They were the first galloping thoroughbreds, prancing arabians, dancing welshes, and lumbering drafts.
Over time, the horses were tamed, and they lost their independant natures. The Old Ones hadn't forgotten about them though. The two first horses; the two first horses prancing out in front of the first herd, were immortal. It was their job to protect their desendants. So they made sure some were always wild.
The wild horses are much like the First horses, and the Old Ones plan to keep it that way.

The chestnut stallion reared up, long legs flashing as the bright sunlight hit them. He landed and pawed eagerly, then raised his head high and called out," The Sunchaser has claimed this Valley!"

Sekerim heard the stallion call. She turned and cantered up the valley, her long black mane flowing in the wind. She whinnied to him, her bright eyes flashing in the bright sunlight

The stallion paused in his celebration.
What was this? A mare on his land?
He spun easily around to face the bay mare, dipping his head in greeting.
"Hello, I am called The Sunchaser. May I ask your name?"

She dipped her crest also. [Oh, Lord, my name would be Sekerim. I am also a netural] she replied, casting a lazy eye over his features and she came up onto the same terrain, but not too close. She didn't want to get hurt too quickly.

The stallion flicked his tail.
"I'm pleased to meet you Sekerim.'
He thought a moment, and then added,"Your name is interesting; why were you named that?"
He titled his head slightly, and waited for her response.

Chaser smiled, and rested a hind leg.
"How did you find yourself in my land?" he inquired, looking at her with intrest.
His land was hard to find an entrance to, since it's boundries were the trees.

She flicked her tail to chase away the flies. [I merly stumbled across it. I heard you claim the valley so my intuition made me come here.] She said, allowing a smile upon her rosens

"I don't suppose you'd like to join my herd? It's not large yet, seeing as it consists only of myself at this moment, but I have no doubt that it will quickly grow." He stood, waiting again for her answer.

He gave her a smile, and then spoke again,"Would you mind helping me find others for the herd? I doubt I can do it on my own."

OOC: Sorry that I keep getting shorter; I'm always in a bit of a rush.

[Of course she said] moving closer and giving him a little nudge on his maw. She felt safer now, with a new herd. [Just neutrals I take it?] she said looking into his eyes

The stallion blinked at her, then gently bumped her back.
"Neutrals, for the most part, although I don't mind lights, and I will help darks if they need it."
He glanced up towards the sun that now hung low in the sky.
It was getting darker, and soon it would be time to turn in for the day. Their search would begin tomorrow.
