Flames spurted from a small shack a serpintine creature erupted from the buliding. Flaring his flaming wings, Keahi flew above watching for squirming humanlings. He breathed his putread flame breath to another building.

Miri was humming a song, her step light, her heavy bucket of water sloshing next to her. Reynard had abandoned, her slinking off nervously when the path broke out of the Silver Woods. Her eyes were down, so she didn't see the dragon immediatly....

...But after a moment she could hear the screams of villagers and the smell of burning things. She bit her lip, her eyes widening, forcing herself to look up. What she saw terrified her: Keahi killing. Things. And villagers.

Miri dropped her water bucket, screaming at the top of lungs in horror. Someone in the Silver Woods could have heard her screaming, if it wasn't drowned out by the dragon's roars and the villager's screams. Miri dropped her water bucket and ran for her life, not caring where she ended up, as long as it wasn't in Virak, and near the dragon.

Thus, she did care, for she found herself running at top speed toward her home and Keahi.

Eletia was startled when she heard the first scream. She thought about it briefly, but then shrugged it off. And then came another, and many more after that, followed by the crashes of collapsing buildings. She rushed to her one window and looked out onto the street. People were screaming, running down the cobblestone on foot. She looked to the right to see the beast emerging from the rubble. She leaped back into her room and rushed out the door of the inn. She looked around at the madness. She noticed a terrified blood bay horse tied to a hitching post just outside the inn's doors, already tacked up. She quickly ripped his reigns from the post and leaped aboard the horse which immediately took off at a fast canter through the crowds.

Adiana had just been soaring above Virak, on her way to the Silent Plains when she heard screams. She really didn't like to play heor but if she was needed the young Tralcon would be there in a heart beat. Her wings folded back in a silent dive. Her ebony pelt and wings stood out like a sour thumb in the bright morning. She flew in front of the sun. That would make it harder for the dragon to take aim on her. Adiana let loose a yowl/howl of the combined blood of the leopard and wolf that flowed through her veins. The she-tralcon unsheathed her long claws and bared her long silver teeth. "STOP!!!"

It had been a rather simple morning for Ariel. He had eaten a mouse earlier that day; it stood little chance. He saw it as he was grooming himself, normal the chase for a mouse would not interrupt his grooming, but he had not ate anything that day. For a mouse, it put a good run, but inevitably the game of cat and mouse; the cat won. After that, he proceeded to his normal sunbathing spot, but some annoying dog was near by and started to bark at him.

After walking for a while, he had found a wonderful spot. It was in the back room a library, full of those books that no one really likes. Light came through one window, Ariel hopped on the table, and stretched his body in the sun light.

He had laid there for what seemed like an hour then there was a sudden crashing noise. He opened an eye to see the wall next to broken away, and in flame. Books on shelves around quickly caught fire and spread.

He stretched on final time before getting up, the table he was on caught on fire. He jumped up on a shelf that still was not burning. He could not let the books burn, he enjoyed reading to much, but he could not think of what to do.

“Fill this rrroom of flame with waterrr frrrom the rrriverrrs,” he whispered to room. Knowing water would probably destroy the books in here, but it would stop the rest of the building to catch flame. Above the whole room, water formed, and dropped down.

After a few minutes, the fire was all out and the spell stopped. Ariel sighed though; he had gotten wet. He shook, trying to get the water from his fur. Though, he still stayed mostly wet. Hoping up into the what reminded of the windowsill, he could see a dragon causing terror through out the city.

Feeling a little timid of something about over a hundred times his size, he hoped down to the ground, and ran as fast as he could out of the city.

Glowing green eyes glared into the odd creature's eyes. "Pray tell, who are thee to tell I, Keahi of the Istas, what to do?" he snarled. Flaming wings furled and unfurled, setting more building ablaze.

Adiana almost laughed at the dragons axcent. "I am Adiana and if you din't stop I will make you." And with that the she-tralcon propelled her ebony wings and shot straight for the firey serpent.

The dragon let out a hiss. "Then die mortal, for a little might like you can't stop any dragons might!" he growled. (*hums Fire Emblem boss music*) Keahi slashed out at Adiana, ebony claws gleaming. Flaming mane scattering embers all over, Keahi ripped back his head and let loose a ground shaking roar.

Adiana reeled. Her wings flapping desperately for altitude. Finally she caught an updraft. The black tralcon soared around the dragon and plumeted towards Keahi's tail. Then an idea came to her mind. "Is that the best out got? I have seen better from a druncken chipmunk!" Adiana laughed and flew a ways away from the fire dragon, putting some distance between her and the angered dragon.

Hissing, Keahi began to follow. Then he heard it. The song. Crap, that elf had remembered it! "You've won for now. But my honor as a Dragon calls. Goodbye Mortal." he growled before Flying off.

Miri stopped so suddenly that dirt flew up into her face. She choked, the dust entering her eyes and mouth. It took her a moment to feel recovered, and when she did, looked up in surprise and saw a Tralcon and the dragon, fighting.

She stood still, staring up dumbly at the two battling when she realized that they were moving. The tralcon was leading it away! She gave a sigh of relief, then forced herself to turn. She would have to go home to the Inn, and make sure everything was okay. She'd get the water bucket later, and hopefully Reynard would come home on his own.
