Magic is not common, nor is it rare. There are, of course, more normal people than Mages and Witches and such, but magic itself is not rare. It occurs most with humans, but any other species except the Special ones (Dragons, Phoenixs, Unicorns) can also do magic.
Almost all children, at birth, can do some sort of magic. By the first month, this is reduced by almost a quarter, and by the first year, the origonal number is reduced by a third. At age five, half of the origonal number is left. At age ten, only about a quarter of the origonal number is left. By then, the magic may appear at odd places and odd times, such as at school. At this age, you must decide whether to send the child to be apprenticed to a Witch or Wizard, or just leave the child be. If the child is apprenticed, then s/he will probably eventually grow up to be a Magical Person, but if left be, the magic will wither and die, and no chance will be given for them to become a Magical Person. __________________________________________________________________ Types of Magic There are three main types of magic: Book Magic, Spell Magic (also known as Memory Magic) and Hands-On Magic. Book Magic- This is used mainly in teaching someone how to use magic, as it requires a book to be in front of you. For book magic, you need an enchanted book with spells in it. Books can be enchanted by pretty much anyone who knows the spell. This post has been edited by Miri on Aug 1 2005, 04:44 PM |
