News: 7/31/05: Oh dear. I haven't updated this in nearly a month. Anyways, we now have Virak's King, King Valan B. Kirle III, played by myself since no one else sent in a form. This means all Royalty spots are filled. A smallerish plot should start... soon. Iceblue = News from Miri.	Welcome to Stygian Fantasy, a Medieval Fantasy Role Playing Game. It is for all levels of RPers, but ask that beginners at least try to improve. For those that do wish to improve, we have a RPing class. This site is just beginning, and we hope that this RPG will prove fun to all. We currently have 21 Members, the newest being Lonewolf. We currently have 29 Characters, the newest being King Valan B. Kirle. Please advertise where and when you can. Thanks! There is currently a ban on Shapeshifters, meaning you cannot make anymore right now. MIT & R, LES-R & KAS-R, VBK III Group: Admin Posts: 145 Member No.: 1 Joined: 17-June 05	Weekly News Update for the Week of 8/14 - 8/20 ___________________________________________________________________ New Features: Weekly News Update- This is currently the newest feature on the site. It occurs weekly, as the name may suggest, and is posted every Saturday. It includes new features of SF, OOC Changes and Additions, Plot Advancements and Role Playing, and Other Important Information. The time when it's posted varies, but will probably be posted during the the late afternoon to the evening. Anything important enough to be mentioned in here, posted after the Weekly News Update on Saturday will be included in Next Week's Update. It will be posted in the News Section. This is just a summary of things that have happened during this week, and anything especially Important will be posted in a new thread. ____________________________________________________________________ OOC Changes and Additions: ... I have too much fun. Basically, this says that the required posting length has changed to five sentences, and anything under will be editted with a note from one of the admins, asking to increase their post length. Also, we've changed the length of character forms as well, if you haven't noticed already. In addition to this, since you all are going to work on five-sentence posts, I'm vowing to try and get up an article in the Library, located in the Rules Board, every week after posting this. ____________________________________________________________________ Plot Advancements and Role Playing: Plots: A plot is currently in the early stages of development. You should probably expect it early-to-mid September, but in the mean time, some members have their own, smaller plots. Monarchy Update: We currently have all of the Rulers we need, and no spots are open as of now. Sorry. Kingdom Update: Virak- Finally has a Ruler, King Valan B. Kirle III. They have recently been attacked by the Fire Dragon, Keahi, and many buildings have been destroyed or damaged. Reconstruction has started immediatly. Marl- Has a Ruler, Queen Seda. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened lately.... Kingdom of Gray Sea- Has a Ruler, Queens Tiglah and Yelith.
