THE BOY WHO LIES? The words Avada Kedavra and the flash of green light had always haunted his thoughts. The disembodied voice pushing past his dead father, and on to his trembling mother... the flash before everything he knew disappeared, and he didn't even know it. But now the words had more of a base in his dreams than ever before. The flash of green light before a friend died... the same curse that took his parents now took another innocent. And yet, with all the proof that burned in his mind, the rest of the world thought him daft. And though he'd never cared about the rest of the world's thoughts before, now they were bearing down on him like a two ton weight. DUMBLEDORE: DAFT OR DANGEROUS? No one claimed to understand Harry Potter. He was not a subject to be understood, but a subject to be admired from afar- an idea at best. All that was ever heard were praises of his defeats of Dark wizards, or feats he achieved for the school. No one ever thought this would come about. The Dark Lord could not return. Harry Potter himself was the end of it. Why would he begin the paranoia again? It only made sense that this entire ordeal was a cry for attention. Even with Albus Dumbledore claiming the truth in the case, little or no one could believe it. And after all... Dumbledore was getting a little old... wasn't he? CHANGES IN HOGWARTS? With Harry Potter's trial finished and his sentence being cleared, all seems well within the world. Students are ready to go back to Hogwarts, and are anxious to see who will now be taking over as Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, seeing as Mad-Eye Moody was not... quite himself the year previous. The world is a dangerous place as it were... and now it all hangs in the balance. |
