[Ms Aine Maxtible]

Frantic activity was taking place in the bathroom. Colette was supposed to be coming over and now Aine's rooms were looking spotless it was time to turn her attention to Saffron who was being bathed in the large wooden bucket she was that small. Saffron was loving this and kept splashing her mistress. Just as well she was in something casual; her Antrim gaelic football shirt and long shorts; and she was barefoot for comfort. It was warm since the fire was burning but this outfit fully exposed her false leg. The plastic and steel leg had the right shape of a left leg but it looked false even with thick winter tights over it.

That couldn't be helped as Saffron was finally toweled and hot air charmed dry before she was combed. A task which didn't take that long as Aine used a drying spell on herself to make herself look presentable again.

She had tins of muggle beer in since that was her favourite as well as bottle of firewhiskey. The quarters were the same for most staff as Saffron went over to the fire to dry completely. Basic but comfortable but you could add personal touches. Hers was the photos from home since she'd travelled light to Canada. She had a charmed CD and radio player that could work here. So she never missed her usual style of music but she didn't miss TV in the slightest.

Checking her watch Aine looked over to her reclining dog. Colette should be here anytime soon.

Aine had told Colette to come over, so as a nice person Colette agreed and was now walking over to Aine's place. She wondered why Aine had invited her over today. It was probably just to hang out and drink some beer but she could have been wrong. Colette had never been good at reading people and truthfully she didn't really have much of an idea as to what kind of person Aine was.

Colette had talked to Aine occasionally at Staff parties and meetings but they weren't very good friends yet. Maybe Aine was hoping they could become friends and Colette had nothing against that. She was always up for making more friends, especially friends that could be her drinking buddies.

It wasn't hard to find Aine's place so Colette knocked on the door and waited for Aine to answer. Hopefully this would be a fun night. She wondered if Aine had invited anyone else over or whether it was just going to be the two of them. Either way Colette was set on having an awesome time tonight.

Hearing the knock got the bouncy Saffron to her feet and padded over to the door. Naturally she wanted to be there to greet visitors and she didn't smell of wet dog anymore. The bath had been essential since she'd got wet and covered in mud.

Aine needed a few seconds to reach the door and her cane to balance her out. Opening the door she seen it was Colette and her collegue got a nice happy smile. Saffron gave a little cute bark and gave puppy dog eyes as she tried to make Colette welcome.

"Come in Colette. I got beer if you want it. Picked it up yesterday evening before closing time" she cheerfully said as she opened the door further. She would have felt very lonely here if it wasn't for her tan coloured little dog. Saffron's love kept her going.
