Title: Fun in the cellars (Hollie)
Description: Sunday 24th June 2012, 11pm

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 01:31 PM (GMT)
In about a weeks time the school camp would start. In the meantime exams were being finished off and the waiting game would begin. They'd know during how they did and for Dorcas and Hollie they'd be waiting on thier future. The NEWT's they'd end up taking depended on passing the appropriate OWL's. Except for the new NEWT's of Art, Music and Dance. Dorcas was hoping for Music as a choice since she was already good at it. The magic connected to music would only help her further.

The cellars she was familiar with gave the best chance for these girls to be alone. The only danger lay from Jackson and Clippesby prefects as they knew this maze of rooms, corridors and sublevels better than anybody. Hollie already knew how to find this old classroom and that was where they'd start. It looked like a storage room with chairs and desks stacked up round the walls but it must have used for lessons at some time in the past.

Dorcas dressed in darker colours to blend into the dimness of the underground domain. A long sleeved navy blue t-shirt with blue denim jeans and her trainers. She also had a black beanie hat so she could hide her long hair better but that wasn't on just yet.

Glancing at her watch she leaned against the bit of wall that wasn't covered with chairs or stacked desks. She'd heard a prefect a while earlier on so she hoped Hollie hadn't gotten caught. Already she was picking up bad habits and smuggling in alcohol for her own use. That included for when she was with her friend and that bottle of mead would be well used tonight.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 01:44 PM (GMT)
Hollie had snuck out of her common room very discretely. She had gotten good at it, and she had been caught trying to leave so many times anyway that if someone did see they just ignored it. But no one had spotted her this time, which means she wouldn't have to answer any awkward questions with the house prefects. Usually she didn't have a problem talking her way out of it, but she was keen to get down to the cellars as soon as possible.

The corridors were completely empty as she made her way down to the cellars. A few of the paintings tried to question her but she just rolled her eyes and kept walking. Some delusional old wizards in the paintings didn't bother her at all. Once she got to the cellars she started to walk the familiar route to the storage room where she and Dorcas had met so many times before. It was a good thing the rooms down in the cellar didn't move, because if they did there was no doubt Hollie would get lost.

As she walked down one of the hallways of the cellars she heard footsteps approaching. It was most likely a prefect and Hollie didn't want to take any chances so she quickly jumped into the small cupboard until the footsteps died away. She peaked out the door, making sure that the owner of the footsteps had gone, and made her way towards the storage room.

On arrival she saw that Dorcas was already waiting for her. "Hey you!" she said holding her arms out for a hug. "Did you get anything?" she asked, not seeing the bottle of mead her friend was holding. She looked at her friends clothes and noticed they were similar to hers, they always dressed in dark clothes. It made them less visible. Hollie herself was wearing dark blue jeans, a light black sweater and black trainers. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a loose bun.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 01:54 PM (GMT)
"Did you get anything?"

Dorcas had the bottle of mead on the floor and partially hidden beside a desk. These trips into the cellars were an adventure so you dressed accordingly. A fairly safe adventure since all you had to usually worry about was prefects and pranksters. You also occasionally ran into a drug users circle but there was enough space for everybody to do what they wanted. In some cases that meant boys and girls finding a quiet place to do the birds and bees and this occasion was about the bottle dorcas had smuggled in.

Accepting the hug Dorcas replied with a smile and a quiet voice. Sound carried so easily here. "Actually I do. A bottle of mead I've hidden for a couple of weeks but now the exams are nearly over we can celebrate.

I know we can have fun at camp but there'll be plenty of people watching then."

Picking up the bottle in its long strappy bag they'd be able to carry it round but they'd be drinking directly from the bottle. Glasses were harder to liberate from the elves kitchen without questions being asked.

Showing the bottle it looked like this informal drinking session would start soon. Once they got deeper into this maze they'd be safe.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 02:03 PM (GMT)
When Dorcas showed Hollie the bottle of mead she couldn't help but suppress a smile. "That's why I love you," she told her. Hollie took the bag out of Dorcas' hands and opened the lid. She took a small sip and grinned, it wasn't the most beautiful taste but it was one of Hollie's favourite drink. She held the bag and the bottle back out to Dorcas, offering her to have a sip before they left. Hollie was only too excited about their little adventure tonight. They hadn't done it in a while because of schoolwork and exams but since exams were almost over the timing was perfect.

"Oh camp! I can't wait," Hollie whispered to her best friend. "You never know what mischief everyone is going to get up to." What she didn't add was that Hollie was often the one getting up to this mischief, Dorcas often with her. But she didn't need to express this, it was common knowledge that Hollie wasn't the most law-abiding citizen. Hollie re-tied one of her shoelaces that had come undone before standing up and heading back towards the door. She stood there and leaned on the door frame. "You ready?" she asked Dorcas with a cheeky grin.

Hollie was certainly ready.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 02:15 PM (GMT)
Dorcas took a drink from the bottle and re-corked the bottle. Now they could be on their way as the smooth drink that could creep up on you went down. It was like cocktails in a way since you could go from sober to really drunk without realising it. At least until you tried to stand up and found your legs didn't want to work.

Slinging the bag over her right shoulder Dorcas was the cautious one and that served her well in these little adventures. "I'm ready" she said leading the way to one of their rooms. This had two long forgotten sofas in it so they could be really comfortable. They also had a little lantern they could light but not so bright it would give them away.

"I'm looking forward to camp as well. I'm well used to camping so I know what I'll need to bring. Naturally the acoustic guitar and my broom will go with me. Perhaps some more mead if I can get hold of it in time; and i'm sure there'll be mischief around. We might be causing it" she cheerfully said.

Camp sounded like it would give new challenges and with it being self contained there were less places to hide and well.. do things they weren't supposed to do.

Opening the stiff door Dorcas magically and silently moved the sofas a bit closer together. Now they could recline and keep passing the bottle to each other as Dorcas lounged and stretched out in the closest one.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 02:25 PM (GMT)
Hollie followed Dorcas into a room with too very comfy looking sofas. She had a suspicion that they had come to this ream before to drink mead but all these nights when they went on their adventures were pretty hazy. Nevertheless, Hollie settled into the sofa and pulled her hair out of the bun. She liked it better when it was out and the only reason it had been in a bun in the first place was so the movement wouldn't catch people's eyes as she moved.

"Are you going to serenade me with your guitar?" Hollie joked. Dorcas was very talented with music, Hollie thought. "Mead is definitely on my camping list," she told her, "As well as a few other treasures titled Boomslang and Doxy..."

Hollie knew her best friend didn't do Doxy, and Hollie tried to avoid taking it whenever Dorcas was around. However it had been a while since Hollie had had any Doxy Powder and she was starting to really crave it. Despite this, she still tried to convince herself that she wasn't addicted. She just loved a good time and that was what Doxy Powder gave her.

"Who else going to cause trouble if we don't? Trouble just seems to follow us everywhere," she joked. Hollie held out her hand for the Mead. She was excited to start drinking and nothing could postpone her from doing so.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 02:38 PM (GMT)
Dorcas pointed her wand at the lamp and silently cast a lumos spell. The lamp came to life and now they could see what they were doing without tripping over something. They'd used this room a lot since it was easier to share a bottle of booze in comfort.

"I'm sure I could sweetie" Dorcas quietly giggled back before opening the bottle again and passing it to her best friend. Dorcas was so well travelled she knew more about life than most teenage witches. Including seeing the effects of doxy powder and the damage it did to a life. It worried her that Hollie mentioned it but as far as she knew her friend wasn't addicted. She hoped she could stay free from it but boomslang skin as far as she knew hadn't the same problems.

"Yeah we're magnets for trouble" Dorcas added. A mere school year in Jackson had changed her as she'd blended into her house too well. She loved having fun but had never lost her cautiousness and a sense of where trouble could lurk. She was the kind of Jackson that partied after the work was done.

"You know I pondered this. If you can't get a guy interested in you does a girl provide a substitute?" she further whispered as she shrugged her shoulders. These friends could talk about anything they were that close.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 02:49 PM (GMT)
Once the room was lit Hollie could see a lot better. She also now felt sure they had used the room to get drunk in previously. She grabbed the bottle of Mead her friend had just offered her and took a huge swig. She felt it to instantly to her head. A plus side of her being so thin and so short was that she got tipsy easily, and the effects lasted for longer. She took another swig before handing the bottle back to her friend.

"So you're bringing your guitar to camp... What talents could I bring? I can dance. A little strip tease for the boys?" she laughed. There weren't any boys around she had much interest in or that showed much interest in her. She was hoping something interesting would happen on camp. When her friend asked her the next question Hollie pondered it quite seriously.

"I think so, just for a bit of fun," she replied after a little bit of thought. Then another thought sprung to mind. "Do you know Priscilla Li? She's a prefect in our year, in Astoria with me," Hollie explained. "I'm pretty sure she's a lesbian. Or bi at the very least." She loved a good scandal, and a prefect questioning their sexuality certainly qualified as a scandal. Hollie had had suspicions about Priscilla for a long while, and now she was almost sure that she was correct in her suspicions.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 03:07 PM (GMT)
Dorcas took a drink from the bottle and passed it back to Hollie as she heard her response. "You know between the two of us we should get the attention of the guys. If I provide the music and you do the dance. I was told in Romania a song I learned was used in a vampire movie to introduce a sexy dancer; before she turned into a killer vampire. Can't remember what it was called" Dorcas replied as she heard the bit of gossip.

"I kind of know her. We share some classes with her and her sister. I can only tell them apart by looking at their robes. So what makes you think she seeks for the other team? Not that I see anything wrong with it; its just a different way to go about a relationship I suppose" Dorcas added. She was that open minded since she never took anything at face value or listened to dogma. That year in Japan taught her a relaxed view of life and sexuality; She'd even found out that sex toys had been in use for a long time there before they were even thought off in Europe.

"If she's bi wouldn't that be confusing for her?" She posed back as she made herself more comfortable. Then she got up to take of her shoes leaving her feet in trainer socks. Now that was better.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 03:16 PM (GMT)
"Oooh, I can be the seductive vampire," she laughed. "Try and remember the song, we can incorporate it into our camp activities or something." Hollie was really looking forward to the camp, it would be nice to get away from Stonewall for a little while and, like they had already discussed, a lot of crazy drama and antics could go down at camp. The crazy antics were usually initiated by them.

Hollie shrugged when Dorcas asked her what aroused her suspicions in Priscilla's sexuality. "I don't know really, she just seems like the type. Plus I swear I saw her checking out a girl the other day!" she said, letting out a hearty laugh. She quickly clamped her hand to her mouth. It had completely slipped her mind they were meant to be keeping quiet. That's what happens when you drink mead though, everything seems to slip your mind.

After Dorcas took off her shoes Hollie decided to follow suit. They were probably going to stay there for a while so there was no harm in it. It might be a bit difficult to get the shoes back on once they are more affected by the mead but she would deal with that when it came around. "Why would it be confusing?" Hollie asked her.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 03:42 PM (GMT)
"I'll try and remember the title. I still remember the melody but I always record songs in my song books. It won't be hard to find. So you can work on your seductive dance" Dorcas quietly replied before adding "quiet sweetie" in a soft little giggle.

"She really did that? She might find it confusing because theres so much dogma and prejudice against whats not the norm. By Merlin if I felt that way towards girls you'd have known by now. Its just another form of relationship.

That year in wizarding Japan taught me a bit about life. They see sex as something very natural and normal. Its uncomplicated by morals or religion. Its so much simpler over there but much more difficult here.

Unless she finds a way to deal with it she'll just hurt herself. Your lifes simpler if you can face the truth" she added as she reached out her arm for the bottle of mead. Even if plastered they could just carry their shoes back with them.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 03:50 PM (GMT)
"Honey, my seductive dance doesn't need practicing. It was perfected long ago," she joked, making sure she kept her voice and the sound of her laughter down. If a prefect walked past the room and heard them inside, the result wouldn't be good. Hollie was concerned the punishment would be not being allowed to go on the camping trip, but seeing as it was compulsory she doubted that would happen. They would probably just get detention, something that Hollie was used to by now.

"Of course I'd know, we tell each other everything," she replied. "And if you were keeping secrets, I'm sure a little Honesty Potion would sort that out." Obviously she would never secretly give her best friend a potion, but she wouldn't need to either. They told each other everything and there was nothing Hollie kept from Dorcas. Well, apart from the fact that she was worried she may actually be getting a bit of an addiction to Doxy Powder. But she could stop taking it whenever she wanted to... the problem was she didn't want to.

"Magical Japan sounds like an awesome place. No pressures to be perfect like my parents put on me," she complained. Part of the reason she acted out so much was because it was the exact opposite of what her parents wanted her to do. "That's so true, poor girl." Hollie was slightly sympathetic, but there was a fakeness in her tone of voice. If Priscilla couldn't come out herself, maybe she needed Hollie's help...

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 04:07 PM (GMT)
"Magical Japan is a wonderful place. The muggle part has taken on some aspects of Western culture but they live a life of simplicity along with some expectations. They don't have samurai anymore but its a place I'd like to live in the future. It might be years down the line but I'll see what happens" she quietly said as she took another drink from the bottle and passed it back.

"I'll bring one of my short yukatas for you to wear at camp. They'd easy to wear in the heat and I'm sure you'd look wonderful in them. They've these long sleeves but look like a short dress" she added. She did wonder how the prefect would solve the problem but she didn't pass on gossip. The way Dorcas seen it most of the truth was probally long gone by the time they heard it; but still enough to make it potentially harmful.

"We'd look wonderful dressed like that. Just like a pair of sisters and sooo cute" she added smiling. A short yukata on a teenage girl had that effect.

Hollie Connor - August 24, 2010 04:21 PM (GMT)
"I have no idea what I want to do or where I want to go," said Hollie as she took another swig of the mead. "I bet you anything I'll get stuck in Stonewall all my life. I'll probably end up teaching Arithmancy or something. Seems to be the only class I could teach. But Japan sounds really cool." Hollie was a bit ashamed to admit she had no idea where her life was going. Most people assumed she didn't really have much ambition, but she did. She just didn't show it or have a specific thing to apply her ambition to.

"Thanks babe! I've been eyeing them off ever since I first saw them," she confessed. "I'd love to wear one." She didn't have any concerns on whether or not she would look good in it, because of her thin frame she could usually pull of a lot of things, not that she cared too much for fashion. She chose comfort over high fashion, but she still was a little conscious of what she wore. "Dorcas and Hollie, Stonewall's newest pair of twins!" she exclaimed. Again she had risen her voice too high. This time she heard footsteps outside. She held her finger to her lips, indicating to Dorcas to keep quiet.

The footsteps stopped outside the door, but then something else seemed to grab the attention of the footsteps owner and they ran off in the direction that they came. "Woops, that was close," giggled Hollie before having another sip of mead and handing it back to Dorcas.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 24, 2010 08:05 PM (GMT)
So the bottle got passed back with only a little space separating the friends. Then came another close call as footsteps echoed away from them.

"I'll probally be working with my mother for a couple of years after graduation. Doing what I've been doing since I was a little girl. Only then I'll be a fully fledged assistant rather than traveling and helping occasionally. She'll keep crossing the world for a long time to come since theres always something new to see" Dorcas replied in a quiet voice and taking another slug of the rapidly diminishing supply of alcohol.

It wasn't a true end of exam celebration. Dorcas still had ancient runes to sit before she could claim the end of exams and she was on course to scrape a pass. Jacksons didn't really need a reason for a celebration and then there'd be a proper Jackson party before they left for the campsite. Naturally she'd make sure Hollie got an invitation and Dorcas would again be part of the entertainment. She could use her wizarding guitar in the Jackson common room and really rock the house. It sounded like an electric guitar but was powered by magic.

Passing the bottle back again she added supportively "you may not end up stuck in Stonewall. If you set your mind to go to Japan or someother place there's very little that can stop you. You've still got time to decide what to do and we'll be a fine pair of twins in our yukatas. We could even put on a show at camp and try and earn house points if want that."

She wiggled her toes to test her state of drunkeness. So far so good as she could still feel her feet. Plans could only be made for the short term right now and once school restarted they'd hopefully be working on their chosen NEWT's.

Wearing a yukata did need a fair bit of confidence in your body. Wearing it properly meant the thin material would show up a bra. So they either had to be strapless or you went without one and a tight fitting tank top acted as your bra. There was also the option of a suspension charm as well as other magical assistance like sticking charms. They'd find a way. As to their show Dorcas could play and sing and Hollie could certainly dance. They should be able to come up with some kind of programme.

Hollie Connor - August 25, 2010 05:02 AM (GMT)
Hollie shrugged, she really wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Maybe she wouldn't mind staying in Stonewall... As much as she verbally abused it, she sort of liked it there. But of course she wanted something more exciting, something that she would be proud to tell her grandkids. If she ever had grandkids, that is. She didn't even know if she wanted to have kids. It was too far off in the future for the sixteen year old girl to worry about.

"Oh we will look damn fine in those yukatas!" she whispered in a very excited tone. "Oh my gosh! We should actually put on a show!" Hollie got suddenly very excited. [b]"It would give us something to do, and bring the attention on to us..." She loved having the attention on her, it was no secret. And usually she could fairly successfully succeed in getting the attention on to her, but usually it was because of her acting out. She'd like to see what it was like getting attention for one of her talents.

Hollie grabbed the mead and took another sip, it had really gone to her head now and the room was starting to spin a little. She was at the perfect stage of intoxication. It was one step after tipsy, and two steps before sick. It was just right. She leaned back in the couch and enjoyed the feeling. It had been a long time since she had been drinking and it was nice to have the familiar sensations.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 25, 2010 06:04 AM (GMT)
Hollie had a different way of measuring intoxication but that was cool. Dorcas wasn't so far gone she forgot to keep her voice down. Hollie had the bottle again and they'd already drained half of it. So perhaps they could keep drinking for another half hour the way they were going,

In the meantime they had a show to plan out. Dorcas never had a problem with an audience as she played routine gigs at Jackson parties. She also could play anything if she could listen to it and had the sheet music. Adjusting a piece to a single guitar was tricky but she could do that.

"I know we'll look fantastic in Yukata. So what kind of music would you want to dance too?And what kind of dance?" Dorcas asked in a quiet controlled voice. She would look througn her song books for suitable pieces onces Hollie pointed the way she wanted to go. She knew how Hollie loved attention on her but just how many school rules could they break doing this little concert? They were breaking a few just by lounging round here and passing a bottle of mead around.

Dorcas was glad she was reclining at this point. She was feeling a little dizzy but still thinking clearly. One of them had to remember what they came up with.

Hollie Connor - August 25, 2010 09:37 AM (GMT)
Hollie was such a lightweight. She could tell that Dorcas wasn't as drunk as she was, but they had drunk around the same amount. Hollie didn't mind, it meant that it cost less money for her to have some drinks, and that was absolutely fine with her. She could spend her money on more important things. Like canvases and watercolors (she loved all the ways muggle did art, the only thing about muggles she was entirely fond of) and books on Arithmancy. Oh yes, and potions that made people's hair turn an off shade of yellow, or potions that cause the drinker to break out in tons of pimples. Hollie loved slipping these potions into people's drinks.

"What dance do you think?" she asked her friend. "I learnt this like... hip hop/rock fusion dance a few weeks ago that would be pretty fun. Or I could do good old belly dancing, the boys love that one." She laughed. Hollie was actually kind of nervous about this show they were planning, but also very excited. She knew she could dance but she didn't usually perform, it was more for her own release, and most of the school hadn't seen her perform. It could go either really good or really bad. Usually Hollie didn't care what the people at the school thought of her, but when it came to something she loved as much as dancing she was kind of afraid of what they would think.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 25, 2010 10:46 AM (GMT)
Dorcas considered these options. Belly dancing would probally cause a riot amongst the males of Stonewall Institute but Dorcas wasn't sure she knew music that suited that. She could do rock/pop styles but that wasn't so easy to do on accoustic guitar. She'd still get pretty close though.

"So sweetie.. I think the hip hop/rock fusion would work best. We'll just need to think of what track suits that best but that's for later on. Will it just be a single dance or a couple of pieces you want to do? I'm sure one dance won't be enough for our audience" she replied musing the details of this over in her head. An audience she guessed would be mostly male and hormone driven. If they used the yukata for the show Dorcas was sure people would be talking about it for quite a while.

She also stuck out her hand for the bottle again. She still could take a couple more swigs before she needed to stop. Blundering back to her dorm at some awful hour for her dorm mates wouldn't be appreciated. So she could just crash on a Jackson sofa instead. Looking at her friend she considered the possibility that her friend may not make it back to Astoria without being caught or worse having an accident. So they might end up in the Jackson common room or just crash right here.

Hollie Connor - August 26, 2010 09:09 AM (GMT)
Hollie was now getting very excited about the prospects of performing at the camp. They'd probably have to clear it with one of the teachers, possibly the Headmistress, but she was sure they would be able to persuade them. Hollie was good at persuading people, but usually that was to get out of trouble. There was nothing wrong with what they were planning (nothing rule-breaking anyway) so she didn't think that there would be too much of an issue there.

"Hip hop/rock fusion is is then! I'll start getting something ready once this mead wears off," she laughed. She was still being a bit too noisy but she had drunk enough that at the moment she didn't really care. "I think I'll do two... It'll be enough I think. Want to leave the boys wanting more of course!" she joked. There weren't any boys around the school that Hollie was really interested in anyway, but there was nothing wrong with having a little fun with them.

Hollie couldn't wait to camp, she was looking forward to it anyway but now with this plan being made she was getting even more excited. It would be an interesting and fun camp indeed.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 26, 2010 09:23 AM (GMT)
Dorcas hoped their luck would hold. As Hollie laughed freely she pitched a question to her bestie. "What about costumes sweetie? Do you want to use the yukatas for that? We already know they'll look damm sexy" she asked sounding a little mischievious.

"Its good to have them needing more. Perhaps we might even get some action afterwards. Who knows" she added shrugging her shoulders.

Dorcas couldn't see much wrong with their performance. It was the aftermath that worried her a little. A bit of action would be prefered but too much of anything was bad for you. As there was always rumours of Stonewall witches getting knocked up. That would lead to lead to further complications if it happened to either of them.

Hollie Connor - August 26, 2010 09:32 AM (GMT)
"I vote the yukatas!" Hollie yelled, then she quickly clamped her hand over her mouth. "Woops," she grinned, "I keep forgetting..." She got a little fit of giggles but managed to contain herself and keep them quiet enough for no one to hear.

"I haven't hooked up with anyone for ages!" exclaimed Hollie, though still trying to keep her voice quiet enough to be undetected. It was unlikely they would be heard unless someone was walking down the corridor outside but it was best not to take any chances. She wasn't scared of getting in trouble she was just having too much fun, she didn't want their fun to end just yet. They still had half a bottle of mead left over, anyhow.

"Are there any boys you have your eye on?" Hollie asked her friend, giving her a little wink. There were no boys Hollie was interested in at the moment, though her arithmancy teacher was a bit cute. But he was more just eye candy, student-teacher relationships were never something Hollie had ever taken interest in.

Dorcas O'Brien - August 26, 2010 09:44 AM (GMT)
"Then we'll be wearing sexy yukata for the show" Dorcas cheerfully replied. She could picture the scene very easily but added "they're great for parties as you can wear them as cocktail dresses or normal wear during the day; but we'll make them look sexy."

She'd have to dress Hollie since wearing a kimono or yukata took practice. They were one size fits all so you needed to tuck and tie with the two little belts before you tied the obi round your waist. Since they were young girls they could wear ones as loud as they wanted and that also meant a big bow.

Dorcas hadn't hooked up with anybody this school year but here'd been that boy in the American summer camp before they'd got to Canada. She'd gotten as far as a kiss and cuddle in the woods but that was ancient history now.

"At the moment, no. The boys in our year are a bit of a let down and I don't know about the older boys. I don't even think they notice me" Dorcas quietly said. This was supposed to be the time for experimentation and she couldn't even get a date. What was she doing wrong?

Hollie Connor - August 26, 2010 10:06 AM (GMT)
"Babe, we can make anything look sexy!" Hollie told her. It was true, they were pretty sexy girls. She noticed that both of them got glances from guys when they walked past, but not much came from these little glances. Hollie didn't think any of the guys in the school or in the town were outstandingly gorgeous, but she still had a bit of fun with some of them. She hadn't had a bit of fun with anyone for a while though, and she hoped something interesting might happen on camp.

"Oh come on!" Hollie exclaimed, this time not bothering to keep her voice down, "You are a sexy beast and we both know it. You just have to put yourself out there a bit more. I don't think you'll have a problem after our show. If I was a guy, I'd do you" She laughed aloud, but she had to admit that her best friend was really an attractive girl. She thought the problem was that Dorcas wasn't as outgoing and straight up as Hollie was.

((OOC: Sorry my posts are getting progressively shorter, I'm trying to make them as long as I can =]))

Dorcas O'Brien - August 26, 2010 10:24 AM (GMT)
(ooc: don't worry. they're still long enough to reply to)

Dorcas looked back over to Hollie. What she said reassured her and it showed. She did feel she wasn't noticed and right now would accept a lesbian advance since the boys weren't offering her anything.

"Thanks sweetie. I know you're not a guy but lately I'd have been accepting of a girls advance. The boys aren't offering me anything and I feel unwanted. My last time with a boy was last summer in the USA and that was stolen time away in a summer camp. We made out in the quodpot storage shed but never got past kissing and cuddling. I wish that time I'd the courage to go further" she said. Being a quiet girl was part of the reason she wasn't noticed. She worked hard at her studies and played once the work was done. It hurt her that she got no action and not even a lustful look and she'd need some help to get out of that valley of despair.

"Hopefully it won't be a problem after the show" she added moving slightly in her sofa so she could look at Hollie while she reclined. She really needed her friends help right now.

"Then you should go talk to Priscilla, I'm sure she wouldn't mind a bit of Dorcas O'Brien," she said, drawing back on the conversation they had earlier on about Priscilla and her questionable sexuality. "To be honest I wouldn't say no to a little lesbian action either. The last guy I hooked up with was this muggle who was passing through the town about 2 months ago. And we just made out," she told her friend. Hollie was having a little dry spot in the boy front at the moment.

Hollie suddenly got all excited over a new idea that popped into her head. "Babe I'm sure there are some guys at this school who would be into you. After the show I'll find a boy for you," she promised her friend. She was very outgoing so she thought that this task wouldn't prove to be too much trouble. Plus her friend was gorgeous, and Hollie thought that any guy must be crazy if he wasn't interested in her. "We just need to get you out there," Hollie concluded.

The Astorian prefect did seem unapproachable. Especially as she always sat next to her protective sister during classes. So how could she ask somebody who seemed so different from her? Dorcas didn't lack courage. The love of quidditch proved that as she did the most dangerous seekers moves out there.

"I'm sure she wouldn't mind a bit of me. Perhaps we both need to look at other short term options if the boys won't obliege us. Thanks for looking out for me" Dorcas replied in a grateful whisper. Then she picked up the mead bottle and took another slug from it before placing it between them again.

Dorcas had been keeping her sexual frustrations at bay in other ways as she added "you just made out with a random muggle. Wow. Was he good?"

What was needed to be done was clear. Get this Jackson bookworm and musician on the dating scene. They both needed action of any sort and Dorcas hadn't dismissed the thought of playing with a girl. She knew that would be short term but it was better than nothing. Boys in school wouldn't probally be long term either.

"I'll always have your back babe," Hollie told her friend. It was true, Dorcas was the only person who Hollie genuinely liked. She didn't have many other friends, she didn't get along well with girls and the boys who talked to her weren't looking for any long term friendships. Or even short term friendships for that matter. She leaned forward to grab some more mead, the affects had worn off slightly and she wanted to get back to where she was.

"He was alright," Hollie said, referring to the muggle boy she hooked up with. "I'm not much of a fan of muggles but I couldn't resist with this one. He was so cute, you should have seen him." Her mind wandered back to two months previously when she was in the muggle part of town buying some art supplies. He had approached her first, and after a little bit of talking and hanging out they ended up making out in one of the side alleys. He was just there for the day and she hadn't heard from him, but she didn't really want to. She wasn't one for commitment or deep and meaningful chats, and he was a muggle so that turned her off him quite a bit. It was fun, but it was pretty much nothing.

"Oh just alright. At least he looked cute. Muggles aren't that bad and anybody can be stupid. Muggles don't have the monopoly on doing silly things. Especially guys that can't see a good thing thats in front of them" she replied sounding a bit drunk now.

"We've got to get guys at the camp. Even if we have to drag them of to the woods against their will" she added. She was stating the ultimate act they'd have left when all other options dried up. Something most people wouldn't even consider and it would also double as an extended prank.

"Anyway sweetie we've no guys tonight. Can I cuddle with you?" she slurred. A sign her inhibitions were going to sleep big time. If it was just between them surely they'd nothing to worry about.
