The Galactic Federation of Free Alliances is undergoing a crisis, lack of leaderships and increasingly militarized society have lead to various nationalist revolts across the galaxy. These revolts have cost the Federation dearly. The election of Relona, 70 ABY promises to be one of the most bitterly contested Chief of State elections since the foundation of the Federation.
The New Jedi Order under Grandmaster Cassus Sturm struggles to rebuild itself after fighting across the galaxy in the revolts against the Federation. The Order is facing a similar crisis, the Order is slowly splitting into two groups. a Pro-Federation group who seek closer ties to the Federation and an Anti-Federation group. The Anti-Federation group seeks to detach itself entirely from the Federation and work to protect the galaxy without any backing from anyone.
The Empire sits poised on the Outer Rim and waits for the moment to strike, however the seemingly peaceful rule by the Council of Moffs might be coming to an end with Chairman of the Council, Varan Taluka in poor health. Various factions of Moffs and officers are vying for control of the faction. The Sith threat as all but seemingly disappeared...
