*Karrio makes his way into a crowded Cantina, and takes a seat at the bar. This is his first time down this way of the Star System, and what better way to get directions then at a Cantina? He kept shooting glances over his shoulder, almost as if he was afraid of something/someone one. He runs a hand through his hair, then orders: fettucini alfredo with mushroom sauce and a glass of blue milk before scanning the room again, making sure no one was following him*

An invisible shroud of dark energy seemed to haze around the area as Mars stepped foot on the grounds of Coruscant. He had just been accepted back into the Sith Order, but at the most inappropriate level…the apprentice. Many things since his ‘awakening’ had been most entertaining, but that simply pissed him off. The only reason he was coming to Coruscant was to get his mind on something other then killing the bastard who assigned him the rank, this was because Mars knew that such an action would be much worse on his side. However he had begun to plan this fools downfall, Mars would get his revenge sooner or later. But for now he would keep to himself, he simply prayed for the fool that got on his nerves today.
The cantina door slid open and Mars stepped through, everyone whose table he passed gave him a suspicious look of fear. He wouldn’t do anything unprovoked however, he was already treading a thin line on this Republic planet. As Mars made it to the bar, he sat down and looked around for the waiter, who soon walked over and gave him a hard stare. The man was putting out false emotions, Mars had half a mind to call him out on it, but didn’t want to start an argument of the man’s hidden fear. “What’ll it be?” he asked in a his seemingly normal gruff voice. It was unclear whether this was being faked also, but in all honesty Mars didn’t care. He was here on his own accord, and unworried about all of these fools around him.
“Water,” said the Sith in a voice without emotion, even though he realized his order was unordinary at a bar. The bartender looked at Mars for a moment, then went an got a glass, filling it to the brim with crystal clear water. The man wanted to question Mars on his drink choice, but didn’t have the guts to do so. Mars had given up on drinking and drugs quite sometime ago, seeking to keep his body as close to perfection as humanly possible. So far it had proven successful, his body literally looked like it was carved from the galaxies finest stone.
Then something across the room threw Mars off his train of thought, someone in the area had a force presence, but who? Mars took a sip of his water, then turned around following his feeling to the force source. Eventually his eyes fell upon a man with burning orange hair down from him at the bar, there was no mistake it was him. Mars took another sip of his water, then dragged out a long sigh that reflected his current state of emotion. “You are not a Jedi, but you are not a Sith. So I ask, where do your loyalties lie? To justice, or to chaos?” Mars didn’t expect much of an answer from the man who looked to be a few years younger then him, but Mars was incredible bored at this point, and would have probably started making trouble with himself had he not sensed the man’s force presence.

*The droid brought his order and set it in front of him. Nodding to the droid, he picks up his fork and twirls some noodles in a circular motion before taking the bite. It took a few moments of chewing before the mouthful was gone. The flavour of the mushroom sauce was just heavenly, compared to the grub he had gotten the past 17 years. Heck, this place is a haven compared to the dusty, dank, dark runes.
He just lowered his fork and was about to reach for his milk when the door opened. His eyes snapped behind him, almost ready to bolt when he realized it was someone else. Not sure why. he kept watching this man approach, his blond hair catching his eye. Not that he wanted to be rude, but he never seen a person with blond hair before. Where he was from, all the people (exluding the Black Sun) had dark hair. He can feel a strange tug from this person, almost dark like. He was almost certain what faction he belonged in but wasn't sure. He nearly jumped when the man asked him a question. While he silently wondered how much he can tell him, he was watching him rather closely. Finally, in a controlled voice, he responded, playing with his fork absentminded*
"Well sir, I'm not aligned with anyone at this moment.

"Well sir, I'm not aligned with anyone at this moment.”
Sir…
That was a first for Mars, people only used that term on Mars when they were intimidated of him, and there was a feeling that this man was no different. When he spoke about his alliance, Mars had pretty much figured that out, he didn’t have any particular aura about him that could be noted. “I may be a Sith, but there is no need to watch me so closely...I do have standards you know.” Mars could feel the man’s stare from a mile away, although he didn’t blame him, the Sith had an unmistakable reputation for violence and chaos. And due to such a history, it made several people uncomfortable around Sith, it even lead some Sith to feel the fear their own brethren. Emotions such as this fed the dark aura that surrounded Mars, it was as if they were separate people occupying the same body. But Mars quickly shook off these foolish thoughts as he turned back to the man with the fiery hair.
“I’m sure you have thought of where your loyalties lie, no? Any one that has your particular interest?” The man was already uneasy around Mars, he probably didn’t like the barrage of question anymore. It was natural for the Sith lately, for some reason his lust for knowledge had increased by leap and bounds. This man was just another test subject in his research, although he probably didn’t know that. Mars raised a hand and brushed it over his finely treated hair, making sure it was still the way he wanted it. He had a lot of pride in his blonde locks, and made sure it was always styled to his perfection. Looking at the force users hair, it looked like he did the same, but then again he could be wrong.

*The orange haired kid picked up his glass of milk and takes a sip, before returning his attention back to the Sith. He didn't particularly dislike the Sith nor did he like them. He believes that it all comes down to the individual."
“I may be a Sith, but there is no need to watch me so closely...I do have standards you know."
*Jenkins was sure that was a statement to his word Sir. Ok, he was intimided by him, but he didn't want to seem rude. His intentions for using "Sir" was to aknowledge that they were on the same sort of level on this communication. For example: Karrio was just a visitor, not an escaped slave. The Sith was just a visitor, not a Sith. But how in the nerf do you explain that? Karrio wasn't going to try, in case he messed up.
"There was a reason I needed to watch you carefully. But on the surface, it seems like I was mistaken"
*Karrio turned to face the person fully, revealing his scarred face. He did this intentionally, hoping the man can see why he was particularly scared and needed to watch him carefully, and hoped he would understand and not take it for an insult*
I’m sure you have thought of where your loyalties lie, no? Any one that has your particular interest?
*Karrio nods to the Sith and leans back against his chair, thinking the best way to describe this. Right now, money was his particular interest, for you need money to help rebuild your life*
"Right now, money is my only interest"

Mars pushed his glass of water aside, it had gotten to room temperature and he didn’t want it any longer. The bartender looked curiously at his dark customer, Mars assumed he wanted paid but he was going to get it. Being a Sith did have its perks, intimidation got you many free things throughout the galaxy. Although there were also negative sides to it, Mars wasn’t thinking about them, his attention was still on the young patron in which he was conversing. Mars’ kips lined with a slight smile as he slightly laughed to himself, the man was intimidated of him. With a slight feint of the hand, Mars pulled his hood over his dark side tainted eyes. As if his menacing presence wasn’t enough, his eyes only furthered his infamy in the galaxy. This only made Mars happy though, the more power he had the better.
"There was a reason I needed to watch you carefully. But on the surface, it seems like I was mistaken"
A reason? Mars thought to himself. He assumed it was because of his affiliation with the Sith, but of course there could be several other reason then that. Mars felt the boy turn to face him, and assumed he had a specific reason for doing so. Dark eyes rotated to study the boy’s face, it was heavily scarred for someone of his age. The only assumption could be that he had seen many battles in his life time, probably grew up fighting for his life. This reminded Mars of Jinn, and himself in a small way. Living a life of constant battle, never seeing an end until the day of death. This made Mars slightly tense up, but he quickly reverted to his relaxed state, he didn’t want to give off the wrong impression to the young man.
"Right now, money is my only interest"
The dark sider nodded at the boy’s comment, his interest was on of the most popular. Having a greater lust for that which is not yours, in this case the young man wanted money, Mars assumed his was some type of rogue, force-using, bounty hunter or something of the sort. The fact remained that he was looking to get paid, and it made Mars wonder if he had a certain criteria out his jobs. Mars reached out to the rest of the room through the force, many of the patrons were still uncomfortable of his presence, not that he cared. Many of these people were probably surprised that he hadn’t flipped a table and began chopping off heads by now, however that was no longer Mars. He had taken a more calm approach to things, but without abandoning his Sith roots of the dark side. This was all miscellaneous though, he still had more information he wanted form the boy down from him.
“I wonder, what types of jobs do you take interest in? Perhaps a bounty hunter? A smuggler? Or perhaps a spy?” Mars particularly have an interest in hiring the boy, but the option was still there. He wasn’t very deep into his force training, and that could present a problem on any misson Mars wanted. However, strong or weak, everyone had their own specific roles in the galaxy, although the ladder was mostly used as fodder for the higher-ups.

Continued from here"The Array Cantina," Kuya said, "Its a decent place to eat at. I go there with friends sometimes. The food isn't gourmet, but you get what you pay for." she looked down at the roof of the building that housed the cantina. The cab swirled down in a tight spiral before coming to a sudden stop. Kuya paid for the fare and climbed out with 'Ciel' just before the cab left to get someone else. THe outside was anything but impressive, with an unimaginative sign that read 'Array Cantina' and some blaster shots on the exterior walls. Leading the way, Kuya entered first and looked around at the patrons. Some seemed well-to-do, some seemed middle class, and some seemed dirt poor. There were clusters of people about, standing around talking or siting huddled around tables. She didn't notice any odd glances at her as she and 'Ciel' entered. She went over to an unoccupied booth and sat down, tapping at some controls to bring up a holomenu. This post has been edited by Adenn Gra'tua Ogden on Nov 6 2009, 04:24 PM

Quietly, Anavrin looked from the walls and to the patrons who were all in the place. None of them seemed all too interested in her, or Kuya, but then again the fact that they were there probably hadn't really sank in, or really impact the atmosphere in any noticeable way. With a slight sigh, she just sat down in the booth, staying across from Kuya as she found that to be the most appropriate thing to do.
When the menu popped up, she just started to look through it. Some of the things listed were a bit irregular, and she had no idea what they were, but she just decided to stray away from new things and remain with food products she was familiar with. However, she never had the mind to come to a decision, such as this, in a few second, so she decided to ask Kuya yet, another question.
"What are you going to eat, here?" she asked, not really knowing what this cantina excelled in, and not wanting to end up getting food poisoning due to a bad choice. Plus, she also had no clue what sorts of drinks were good here, as everywhere she went, the same thing would taste differently. It was just one of those annoying little oddities that occurred, frequently.

Kuya looked over the menu. "I usually get a nerf burger and a glass of water," she said, "But they have plenty of good food."
"And its all on me," a man said nearby. He was standing by the table; Kuya had been so preoccupied trying to get a stronger sense of 'Ciel' that she hadn't noticed his approach.
He was blond of hair with blue eyes and bronze skin. By Human standards he was ruggedly attractive with his short stubble beard and swarthy good looks. He had a fine looking bantha-hide jacket over a pressed white shirt with the top button un-done, exposing the top of a smooth oiled chess. His over-tight pants stretched along his muscular legs down to his polished black boots.
He leaned on the booth behind Kuya with the confidence of a man who usually gets what he wants. "So I see you're a Jedi," he said to Kuya, "That's great. You guys do a good job. So, are you a Jedi?" he asked Anavrin, "No, don't answer. I can tell by your attire and you're incredible looks that you're not. Mind if I sit?" he asked, moving without waiting for permission, sliding in beside Anavrin. He put an elbow on the table and turned to look at her.
"I'm pretty familiar with all the pretty ladies in these parts," he said with a charming grin, "And I can tell you're not from around here. I'm Duke Dessling. Pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

Anavrin slid a bit off to the side, not incredibly comfortable with someone she didn't even, officially, meet sitting that close. Of course, being a female of the human race was one of the reasons why she did look over the guy a bit, though when he suddenly sat with them, without much warning, her comfort zone got a little constricted. Though, she decided to respond to him, more so that some sort of huge situation didn't come about.
"Ciel." She stated in response, though not giving out any form of last name, for quite a few reasons. One was that she had no clue whether or not this guy had a restraining order from every lady in the area. The other reason was mainly, because she didn't exactly trust a guy she half-met ten seconds ago, it just wasn't a natural response. However, she also hadn't minded the compliments so much, though she really doubted that it was truthful, for more reasons than as to why she wasn't comfortable to close to the guy.
"Well... uh, I'll just get these two things." she mumbled, going with the Nerf Burger that had been mentioned, and a glass of something that just looked good. What it was, she didn't care so much, just as long as it tasted good and didn't kill her in a few seconds.

"Ahh, Madam Ciel likes the strong drinks," he said, ordering the same. "So, plan to stick around long?" he asked. Kuya relaxed her sensing of Ciel and focused more on the man now. She didn't like the way he was hitting on Ciel No matter how Kuya felt about the woman, no one should be subject so such a lame attempt to score.
"I'm sorry," she said to Duke, "But we were in the middle of a conversation. You don't want to bother us, do you?" she said with a casual wave of the hand. Duke only grinned.
"Listen sweet thing," he said, "I wasn't born yesterday. I'm not a simple-minded Weequay. I've had my way with more than my fare share of Jedi," he gave her a wink, "And I made them scream things that had nothing to do with the Force. So just let me and the lovely lady over here talk, okay?" He turned his attention back to Ciel as the food arrived.
Kuya felt her face burn up in embarrassment at what he'd said. She silently ate her burger, trying to think of a way to get this man to leave. She thought to her vast experience with numbers and considered for a few moments whether or not they would be helpful. The nerve of that man. was the thought that kept coming back to mind though.

Anavrin just shrugged a bit at the first comment, not really having known that it was strong, all she noted was that it was blue and looked interesting. However, she decided that getting multiples of that drink would be a bad idea, as being drunk and with a guy who was probably more interested in getting her somewhere else just spelled disaster, in capital letters.
"I don't know how long." She responded, that being the truthful answer, as for all she knew, she may be leaving in the next few minutes or in the next few years. For now, she just quietly ate her own food, not really having anything else to say for now. She only took a few small sips of her drink, as it was a bit too strong to actually just chug.
Though, if there was any truth to what the man said about Jedi, she was pretty much doubting that they were "Jedi" anymore. However, she kept that thought to herself, as she didn't exactly want to hear details of those supposed women. "Do you have a job?" She decided to ask Duke, more not to sound all too rude as being outright rude to someone, regardless of company, would make possible suspicions about where she actually came from, a bit more backed up.

The Cantina was one of the local haunts Da'yer had become accustomed to as his boss did her business on Coruscant. He absolutely hated the city but if he was just going to stay around he might as will get a little spirit in his blood. So there he sat since the early evening drowning in his drinks. However what he ordered was either weak stuff or water of sorts. He wasn't looking to get piss faced and act like an idiot. Just a little warmth to coax the fire already chugging through his veins.
But as he was just getting comfortable with his environment like always someone had to ruin it. A rather rugged male was hassling a few women trying to get into their Jumpsuits. This is why he preferred Nar Shadda over Coruscant. At least the people there dealt with ones who were upsetting the place. The Alliance wasn't the same with their rules and regulations everywhere to be "Fair. But how was it fair to he the pedestrian as they would expect sitting there dealing with an bantha-Faced schlup obstructing his view. He knew that Vi had told him to "Be a good Boy...", but he was slowly starting to not give two shits to the wind what she said.
It was when the man snapped at the Zabrak Da'yer gave a scowl letting his tight leather uniform expand in his movements. Studs all about his outfit with his fitted dark slacks and a chain wrapped around his waist as a belt held together by a hook. The light blue of his eyes accented with a hazel gold burst just glared straight at the man fumbling with the cap of one of his bottled cold drafts. "And I made them scream things that had nothing to do with the Force. So just let me and the lovely lady over here talk, okay?" The man said and it set Chainer off for no other reason than he was simply obnoxious. It wasn't the disrespect he was showing more so of having to be so loud and zealous about landing a nubile force user.
Flipping the small metal cap in his hand he steadied it on the back of the opposite palm aiming at the mans head and giving a solid flick. The solid object went whizzing through the air before landing a nice loud "THWAP!" on the mans forehead. This intrusion was only amplified to Da'yer chiming in with a gruff and rather irritated voice, "Chuba! How about you let the ladies enjoy their meals and Piss off mate... It is painlfully obvious you're too short stocked to be a full barrel and overcompensating with your ignorance." His tone was demeaning right off the back using a Huttese calling used to their animals and servants, and by the public for those they disliked.
Taking a swig of his cool drink the mysterious man set his bottle down leaning back with a crack of his knuckles. "Or am I going to have to hit you with something harder? Sit down somewhere else and leave them alone, or for the very least shut yer trap... You are really getting under my kriffing nerves." A more forceful recitation of the previous command his off world accent came out. Wasn't quite Mandalorian but more rugged than enough. This man was out there just the way he would stare at you solve all doubt if he was playing around or not. His eyes were steel cold, the eyes of a killer.
