Dr. Reed might be stubborn but she knew that he was right on her staying on her stomach until she got the medical help she need. His last word played in her mind "Sorry" as he left her be. Laying their as she did feeling the pain. As it was she couldn't lay on her stomach flat it would cause her shoulder to pain as it was she was half on her side. Closing her eyes now as she just listen to the engines now in hyperspace.

The tone of his voice that he used with that single word, and the way he left quickly. As it was her eyes was closed as she could hear him coming down towards her room. She let herself stay still as he looked in at her making it seem like she was fast a sleep or at less trying to rest. As soon as he had left again her eyes open up. This bring her to the next delima she face at this very second that was to the she had to go relieve herself.

Talking in a deep breath letting it out slow even that was painful. Know this wasn't going to be the easy thing for her to do. As she slowly put her legs to the floor standing was more then she could bare, fighting the tears of pain back as long as she could as she looked around to see where she had to go it wasn't that far just a cross the room. As she started across in her lower back came a pricing stabbing pain as she lost what control of her legs she had and crashed to the floor with a very loud thump.

Knowing all she had to do was call out and he would be in to help her but she wanted to do this on her own she wasn't helpless now was the time she need to be strong. As she started to drag herself a cross the floor inch by inch until she reach her goal. She was satisfied with what she had done on her own. As she crawled back out she had a tingling in her legs now she couldn't really control them. As this putting the fear in her mind now as she started to weep loudly now pounding the floor with her fist. Repeating over and over. "Why me, why me, having I suffered enough already..I wait to just die right now." as she just stay where she was in the pain she was in.

Feeling a hand on her she lashing out with her good arm to hit it way from her, knowing who it was that had came to see if she need any help. Fighting with him a couple more time before the pain over too her more. "I..I ..my..my..legs are..num.." was all she could get out before he took her over and lay her back on the bed on her stomach.

Adenn was concerned; her moving must have wedged the shrapnel against her spine. This could be bad. Once she was laid down he gave her another sedative to knock her unconscious so she wouldn't move. "She's going to hate me after all this is through," he muttered.

With her out, he went back to the controls and waited until they exited the Hyperspace jump and were back in the Mandalore system. He didn't waste time landing like he normally would as he considered this an emergency. He pulled it down into a standard landing zone, which caused him some irritation and discomfort, and then contacted the nearest hospital. When the told him they'd be sending an ambulance he told them the coordinates.

He waited by her unconscious form until the medics arrived. He helped them ease her onto the medpod and then watched them get her into the ambulance and speed off. With her now in good medical hands he closed and sealed his ship up and went through it thoroughly, making sure that the Kicka and those medics hadn't planted anything. After his sweepthrough he lifted off and made a wild flightpath out to a nice place he considered safe to hide his ship.

He went through his usual motions of securing his ship, plucking a petal to saturate the air, unloading his bike and other material, using the drones to cover the ship with the camo net, and testing the security measures he had in place. Once sure of his security, he got on his bike and headed towards the hospital.

Feeling the jab in the shoulder then stinging opening her mouth to say something to him. In stead feeling face first in her pillow knocked out. It wasn't long before she was on her way to get the medical help that she need.

Ambulance taking her off very quickly as they radio a head what they was dealing with what it looked like she gotten mess up in, they had seen this all the time but never this bad will on one that had survived . Letting the ER surgeon take over as they got her into the operating room. It was until late before one of the doctors had came out of the OP room his gloved hands still bloody from it. It had been over 6 hours since they had first brought her in.

As the doctor talked to Adenn the Doctor had his staff closing her back up and stitching it up and putting her into her own private room, with a couple of guards out side the doors.

Looking straight at Adenn now with a look and shaking his head at him as he spoke to him. "Ganar aruetii" Pointing to her room and the guards. Before he started to asked about the money if she had any to pay for this all. Then asking who she was, why he brought her.

As this was going own Dr. Reed was starting to wake up a bit as she did she felt a hand on her, still very much out of it from all the drugs in her system now. Out of her own instict she reach out with out much grace to hit at who every had try touching her this brought the guards in talking back and forth in the their helmet then bring out cuffs to restrain her with..

Adenn explained to the doctor that he was on a mission. He boarded a ship, killed some crew, blew some things up, and in the process hurt the doctor there. He never intended for collateral damage, not expecting civilians to be on a military vessel engaged in pirate tactics. He said he'd pay for the medical expenses.

When the guards ran in, Adenn followed shortly after. "Calm down," he said in an almost order tone. He managed to usher the guards to back up, pulled over a chair by the bed, then sat down.

"You just got out of surgery," He explained, "They removed the shrapnel from your back. You're gonna be bedridden for a couple of days. I'll take care of you if you don't have any family or friends in the system that can care for ya."

"W-why-" she tried to say, the medicine still rather strong.

"I...." he glanced to make sure no one was around. The guards had let. "I feel bad for what I did to you. I want to try and make up for it if I can. I can provide you food and shelter and rehabilitation while you recover, or transportation to wherever you want to go."

It took her while to think of what he just say making him repeat some of it. As she repeated one word while she was thinking about the rest. "Family..family would be..nice..friend come and go.." then came a flash in her mind as she was still out of it thinking that she was reliving the nightmare again. Reaching out with her one hand grabbing onto to him by the arm tightly her eyes getting wide now.

"Gone..dead...all blown up..the fire the loud nose..yelling ...screaming...running...hiding..Then all went way..leaving me..by myself..." Then letting go she stairs up at the ceiling and closer her eyes for a bit. Feeling a hand on her wrist now popping open her eyes to see the doctor.

Then remember what he said to her at the very last part. "Why should you care..know one else has..I look out for me..I have stay a life this long by myself."

It was the doctor voice now very stern with with her, "Look missy, watch your mouth around him, he could left you to die on that ship, hell I still trying to figure out how you made it at all you should have been dead."

This bring nothing by a hard stair at him then at Adenn. Then the doctor handing a pill in a cup to her. "Here take this as you'll need it as soon as the other wears off, your going to be in a lot of pain."

"Huttspit, I not going to need it I know what I can handle I a doctor to you know." giving him a look of want to say something else to me dare you.

They doctor just turns around and looks at Adenn then pats his shoulder then mouth to him, "Good Luck, your going to need it." trying and leaving the room.

Dr. Reed trying to him, "What.." feeling him stick the pill in her mouth then bring water to her mouth, having no choice by to drink the water and swallow.

Adenn took a seat beside her again. He was rather curious about her recent ramblings about 'gone' and explosions and her finding herself alone. "So, you don't have family then," he said, making an assumption. He would ask her later when she was more well. "You don't have friends," he said, recalling her saying about friends coming and going. "And you're a doctor. Would you consider working with me and my partner? We could use a field medic. You could work of your debts with us."

He wasn't quite sure how much she was understanding because of the medicine. Her silence was either the meds knocking her out, her falling asleep from exhaustion, or her thinking about it. In any case, a few hours later, the doctors cleared her for release on the orders that she remain bedridden for at least two more days. Adenn consented to this and had her moved outside to a rented speeder he had, which he drove slowly and directly to his ship. He used a medcapsul he had in his ship to get her gently from the speeder back to 'her' room, which he had cleaned up. He went back to the speeder and sent it on its way back to the rent-a-center before contacting Kuffaw. This wasn't something he was looking forward to.

"Hey Cuffs," he said when the link was established "....I'm back on Mandalore.....oh, where?.......I'm seven clicks south of you......yeah I'm fine......Listen, remember that doctor I rescued from the GA ship?......Yeah her.......well, she doesn't have any family or friends.......about 1600 creds......No, none of yours, I paid it all myself........I offered to take care of her until she got better..........yes I know......She's a doctor though, and we could use her on our missions......it'd save us creds in the long run....................no need to bring them into this........settle down Kuf'ika, I didn't promise her more than taking care of her until she's well again......we'll talk more when you get her." The link was severed. He went back into the hidden ship to wait for his vode.

Saying few other words before she slip back to sleep. Giving a nod before what she had agreed to she didn't know. Then one of the medical staff before releasing her came in to change her and to show him how to whispering something in her ear something about her being a lucky aruetii. It was then that she felt the push of some med go into her making her loopy but not a strong as before. Then feeling her being moved all she could do was bite her bottom lip. Feeling the move it was in the speeder that she drifted back to sleep again. She welcome it as it was hard enough with the moving from one place to the next. She was some what concern where she was taking her but the sleep taking over her.

Starting to come out of the drug up condition to move her in. As she did she laid with her eyes closed for the longest time. She didn't know what she was doing it seem that the last few days had been a blir to her had it all happen. Flashing back to the explosion to the ringing of her ears then to the pain then the fighting before feeling the pain get to much. It was then that she felt a hand on her good shoulder as if knew she was starting to come to was going to try and move and get up.

Opening her eyes up to find his face looking at her, "Oh its you." Turning her head way from him before letting it come back to face him. Then asking her if she remember what he talk to her about having a puzzled look to her face told him what he need as he repeated.

Taking her time to answer him as if she was having trouble. "So let me get this right I work off my debt then I can. " in her mind thinking this still sound a lot like her being his slave which made her have a pissed off look this causing her to ball up her fist. She was more mad at herself for getting herself into this mess then anything, she wasn't one to have to serve of like this she work for herself to pay off her own debt her own way but as it was she wasn't going any where for a while. This brought a tear to her eye to her it was pride but also that she wasn't free and had to be a mercy of this person.

She turn her head as not to let him see her with tears in her eyes that she was tryiny hard to battle them way. After a while she turn back to him trying to give a smile gratful smile to him. "I think I need to tell you that I"m grateful for what he have done for me, what you are doing for me."

Adenn held up a hand. "If you choose to stay and work, then you don't need to be grateful. If you're gonna leave as soon as you're well, then I'll accept your gratitude. Its up to you." He reached into his suit and pulled out a plastiod capsule. "There are some flower petals in here," he said, setting it down, "If you crush them they will have differing effects. The purple one will help you sleep. The green one will help you calm down if you start getting up set. The yellow one will help reduce the pain in your back. The pills the doctor got for you are in there also. Only two a day. And-" he was cut off when Kuffaw opened the door. He made a gesture with his hand. "Be right back," he said, getting up and walking out into the hall.

"I will stay, and work my debt off..I gave you my word."she called out to him as he left. Reaching out on the stand having some pain reaching for the plastiod capsule taking it in her hand. She looked at them all then that brought up question about this stranger that had came to her aid she was trying to understand this he almost killed her could just left her to die with the rest of crew of the ship. Now he bring her flowers of different kinds who was he really she didn't now his name at all.

Waiting until he return even from where she was she could hear the barking from the wookie some wasn't to nicely. As she just sat back listen but understand much of it going back to the petal pulling one of the petal out playing with it petal in her fingers then bring it up to her nose to smell it bring a smile to her face. Sitting down by her side in her bed. Bring her one hand up her bun she had in and pulling out the band that was holding it in place letting it flow down on both side then taking her fingers to comb through it the best she could with her fingers. Felling better about having it down instead of up.

Turning her head to hear it open again as then both step in looking at them both. "I think I need to introduce myself I'm Dr. Tawya Reed." trying to gave him a weak smile through the little bit of pain but she was one to bare the pain then go to the pills.

The discussion outside between Adenn and Kuffaw wasn't one naturally suspected of such close friends that they called themselves brothers. But, to one who knew them well, it would have seemed a very normal conversation between them. Kuffaw, of course, began by questiong Adenn's intelligence and his ability to control his reproductive organs, as well as the specific location of his brain in relation to them.

Adenn countered with a crack at Kuffaw's hygene and the fact that he had to keep his fur cut short to fit into the full suit of armor he wore. He also had to duck a blow from Kuffaw as he finished. With the pleasentries out of the way, the matter at hand was then brought up. Kuffaw wanted to know how much this would cost them. Adenn reassured him that he would cover any overhead from this and that Kuffaw's money wouldn't be touched.

Then Kuffaw wanted to know how long it would take her to work off her debt. Adenn said that it depended on how poorly they did on Their missions: If they both came back in horrible condition and she saved their lives, then they would owe her. But if they came back with barely a scratch on them, then she'd probably be there for quite a while. Kuffaw expressed an interested in potentially giving Adenn a fracture or two in his legs after each mission for the doctor to patch up, so she could leave quicker.

The duo went back into the room, having agreed to accept her assistence as a temporary medic. Whereapon she introduced herself as Dr. Tawya Reed. Adenn removed his helmet and nodded at her, his expression as grave and battle hardened as ever.

"I'm Adenn Gra'tua Ogden," Adenn said. He jerked hsi thumb over his shoulder at the fully armored and helmeted and, silent as always Kuffaw. "This is my partner, Kuffaw."

"Adenn Gra'tua Ogden and Kuffaw its nice a pleasure to both of, but don't met to sound demanding or anything if you two are done fighting like a married couple, I could uses some something to eat and drink, I really don't want any more needles in me for getting up.." her eyes narrowed onto Adenn on that one and how he with out asking her knocked her butt out last time.

As it was she let herself slide up to sit up a bit bring all the reason why she should be laying on her stomach brought forward. Her long wavy warm red hair coming around her now. "Yea, if you have a hair brush, I would like one with out fur in it if all possible I like that.."

She just shook her head as they started to fight better the two of them. This bring her a bit upset herself. "Find I see you two love birds still having your love spat, I'll get it myself point me to the kitchen so I can make my own food."

Throwing the cover back to only be rush upon by both at the same time before she had time to stand up full. Feeling even then the strengths of the back feeling something wrong feeling the warm running down down her back. Being ruffly put on her stomach then having her hair get pulled away. Then lifting up her shirt she was going to yell at them some more before she was told to shut her mouth at less that what she though was coming from Kuffaw, then told by Adenn.

"FINE...next time ask me..jackass..."

Adenn made sure she stayed down before letting go of her. "Don't move," he said, having fixed her stitches. he wasn't too happy with the fact that she had been so demanding and demeaning to them, but she was still injured, so he wouldn't snap at her. Not yet anyway.

"Listen," he said, "For three days, all you need to do is lay here. That's it. If you can't do that I'll strap you to the bed so you can't move, or keep you do drugged up you won't have enough mental clarity to move. And if you keep being a nuisance then I will ship you back to the Kicka Empire as a prisoner of war."

She looked furious and frightened, and just before she spoke he said, "Now just shut up." he pressed a COM into her hand, "Call me if you need something. Anything." With a shove Kuffaw left the room and Adenn followed.

Even through the visor, Adenn could feel the look Kuffaw was giving him. "Go find us some more work," Adenn said with a little snap in his vice. Kuffaw shrugged and walked away. Adenn headed back to his miniature garden to vent.

Laying there all she could do was look up at the ceiling thinking of nothing more then how she couldn't have gotten herself into this mess. She been far more messes then this one before but this time it was different why was it. Knowing that she was at someone else mercy was that it someone had cared enough to not let her dead even though it was his fault that almost cost her life. Then again he was taking his money and time to make sure she got better. That started her thinking down another path one that brought her thinking but fearful and also question what she was going to do if it came to that.

As time when on she stay calm with out much trouble as she gain her strength and mobility back. As it would have it she was using his flower pedals for what she need it for almost now with out using in of the pain medications at all. This being said she was more alert to what was happening around her now and calming herself before she lost her short temper that she found she had around him. She had always been difficult to deal with, very much keep to herself with out anyone help at all to have to humble herself and let other help her out will at less the one that had done this to her she was having a hard time with some time.

Now she was sitting up now in bed with a fresh shirt on that was way to big on her that she was taking a swim in it. Her eyes looking at a data pad that she was given to pass the time with now. Reaching over to bring a glass of water to her lips before putting it back. Hearing the foot step coming to her room now, turning her head from the pad up with a warm smile on her face now.

"Morning Adenn, came to chat some more." as she put the pad beside her waiting to see if he would take a sit by her bed.

"Morning," Adenn replied, taking a seat in a chair near her bed. "How are you feeling today?" he asked. Over the last few days her wounds had begun healing rappidly. Kuffaw had found them some work out on Tatooine that seemed rather simple, so they were preparing to go.

Adenn had decided to give her the chance to stay on Mandalore a bit longer if she didn't feel well enough for work yet. "Kuffaw and I are about to head to Tatooine. You're welcome to come along if you want. Or you can stay here on Mandalore and recover some more. You're choice."

Still smiling at him as she watch him take a seat, in a way he welcome his present when he could and not busy with with his work around the ship. If anything she grew tried of being along in this room not able to move about freely of his threats that he had made the first day he had brought her back to the ship.

As he said the planet of Tatooine her eyes quicken with both fear and angry inside of her this was shown through her eyes. Then her eyes staring off in the distance as if she wasn't there at all. Letting out one word across her lips as if she was the only person in the room. "They are all dead..dead...noooo..mother ..sister..father.."

Feeling the hand on her shoulder still half in a daze she lashed out at him both phyically for touching her like he did but also with her mouth. "Take your fithy hand off me.." releasing what she had said now coming to a bit more to find it was Adenn. She looked quickly way from him. Answered his question but not face to face to see the tears that was rolling down her cheeks now.

"I would stay here their is to many memorors from that place that I care to deal with. Most of them was nightmares that I wish I could just so forget then step foot on that planet again. If he tried to get her to answer more she would try and face him and give him as little as postable, it was just too hard for her to face now or anytime. She wasn't about to tell a stranger one that she didn't know all that much about now to release she had nothing or no one but herself.
