You know... I heard nothing but bad things about this game, but being a fan of this series, no matter how much people tell me a Resident Evil game sucks I just have to play it, find out for myself. Well, I have a newfound respect for Barry. XD And I actually like this game so far, even though I keep dying, which kinda sucks... but I'll figure it out eventually. Actually, I restarted because I saved in a semi-bad spot, not that I couldn't have gotten out of it, I was figuring it out, but I decided to restart and I'm glad, because I CLEARLY did not do enough exploring. XD Silly me. Ahh well, I'm also kind of upset that I forgot to put this section. But, it's here now. ^.^

I've only heard bad reviews about this game.....but then I heard bad reviews about Resi 2 and 3 but I still bought them. Anyway this game looked pretty cool..being on a boat and that Leon and Barry star in it (yay!!). The wierdest thing though I saw was the way you fight the Zombies..having to stop the moving thing in the middle of the line in order to fire....interesting stuff

Everybody bad mouths every game out there. Unless of coarse...it has to deal with gang life...having sex with...lord only knows how many women, killing countless innocent people, and killing cops, FBI, and Millitary personel with a tank.

Names: Grand Theft Auto, and a new one...50 Cent Bullet Proof. I swear..all the REALLY good games out there...are always getting bad mouthed. While the crappy ones are glorified and video taped.

I agree with you Jett, and you know, I've played all the wy through Gaiden, and although I won't say what the ending was, I will say this, Resident Evil is supposed to be Survival Horror, in my opinion, Gaiden had the best ending for that genre of any Resident Evil game I have ever seen. And yes, Leon44, the aiming system threw me off, and Barry and Leon both died many MANY times while I was playing. I actually got to the final Tyrant at one point, and he killed me because they were both low on health and out of herbs. But I have beat the game now, and I thought it was really amazing. And yes, it got low ratings, and it pisses me off whenever I see those low ratings. This is a GameBoy Color game, people, what did you expect? A pretty 3d Game? Come on! GameBoy Color isn't capable of that. Gaiden, in my opinion was just as good as any Resident Evil console game, both in Story, and length. It had the same feel to it. true they had to alter some things to make it work, but they pulled it off, and I was impressed. I'm honestly not so worried about Resident Evil: Survivor now. I mean, before I got Resident Evil: Gaiden, people told me how much it sucked. I disagree with them, and I think they must all have been idiots who were just pissed because it's a 2d game. Survivor gets slammed a lot too, and I have to wonder if it's just that people are spoiled brats, and can't appreciate it when Capcom changes everything or what. In fact, I even saw people being spoiled brats about Resident Evil 4, which was highly successful. There were some people who were pissed that they weren't Zombies, an just couldn't appreciate the fact that Capcom took a different Direction. And yes, I thought the storyline for Gaiden was very interesting. Leon and Barry working together, two characters who weren't previously in a game. Leon goes to a Cruise liner, the Starlight, looking for a B.O.W. that's been reported there. They lose contact with him and call in Barry to go after him. I'll say this, I definitely have new found respect for Barry, he's awesome.
