Nobody really talks about Graphic Novels at all, and they are the best thing ever, so I thought I'd create this topic for it's sake.
My favourite graphic novel is Watchmen, written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons. I've never read a graphic novel with such plot, characters and detail (V for Vendetta or any of the Sin City books come close, however). WHAT TICKLES YOUR FANCY, HMMM?! |

V for Vendetta and all the Sin City novels. ESPECIALLY loved Volumes 1 and 7.
I'm also an avid manga readers, but I don't those count in this thread.... |

I read it 35 minutes ago.
Actually, I read it a few months ago, and then several times after that. It's amazing. Can't wait for the movie. Also of note: Ronin, 300 (as epic as the movie), and Kingdom Come. |

Watchmen. Definately get Watchmen. The perfect graphic novel to start with. Ha, my SIn City collection so far (In Order): 1. The Hard Goodbye 2. A dame to Kill For 4. That Yellow Bastard 5. Family Values Ha, couldn't find the third volume. I wanna read Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Ronin. And possibly some Judge Dredd in the mix. SO MANY TO GET, SUCH LITTLE MONEY I HAVE! |
