Awards Ceremony, And the winners are...

In the category of Best Roleplayer, Isawa took the lead with 7 votes. Drasoini took second with 2 votes.

In the category of Damned Goody-Two-Shoes Hero Award, it was somewhat closer - Dinfalas pulled victory with 6 votes, Kelrion falling short with 4.

In the battle for Asskickingest Villain, we have a tie between Takachi and Aki, both pulling in 4 votes. Slasan failed to grab the crowd, pooling only 2 votes.

The Most Improved Roleplayer was a tough call, but it went to Red with 5 votes, followed closely by Koroshiy-no Yagi with 3 - congratulations to all involved here, notable improvements everyone!

Now, we all hate Newbies, but there are a couple we hate less than the rest. The Best Newbie this time was Koroshiya-no Yagi with 4 votes, narrowly leading Utano Tenshi, who captured 3.

Moving onward to stories, there was a deadlock between Cloud Rising and War of the Asuras for the Best Coop title - both took in 4 votes. With only 1, Before the Rising Smoke was hardly a crowd favorite.

There was no competition for the Best Solo - 8 votes for Voices of the Flame. The only competitor, Gate of Malice, recieved a single vote.

As we know, some characters have tits, and some dont. For the latter, the Best Male Character was voted to be Kanasu Akara, with 5 votes. Rayne Ariel took second with 2, whilst Gre'er and Dinfalas recieved a vote to each name.

For the Best Female Character, it seems people voted for who they'd most like to sleep with. Yumiko Takeda took the title with 5 votes, followed by Mazuko Ayami, trailing with 3. Cant compete with girls with tails on a site full of men, I guess.

In the final category, Most Valuable Member has been swept as usual by Isawa, capturing 9 out of 9 votes. Either I'm truly great, or people love sucking up to the root admin. Maybe both.

On another note - for the first time since Soulfire, I have swept the awards... A little flattering that shit I've been involved in won in every category I'm viable for. It also strikes me as a bit of ass-kissing, but whatever. Comments are welcome.

I'm kind of surprised Aki tied with Takachi - I doubt many of the people here actually witnessed her moments of glory. Then again, I guess there's not a lot about Takachi, either, so whatever.

There are no villains who really ring any tones with the majority of our members. There's the nostalgia for the older members - for Devin and I in particular, the villains who have ceased to be and cant be nominated.

Ah, the glory of Kishet Narsul's reign - a global empire which looked to last an eternity. He came after Vyrisa's fall, though, so I couldnt include him in history...
