Greetings Sistahs!

My name is Zenobia and I am a struggling writer. You would think that after years of writing both Christian and secular works, I would be closer to my goal of becoming published, but here I am practically at square one. I have submitted to a personal friend who has a lot of clout at a well known publishing company. That was a few months ago and this is my BIG work. A book that has come from my gut and that God has spoken into my spirit, but no word. Something personal has come up in this persons life and they are just not communicating with me.
I recieved a call from Maya Angelou on Mothers Day of this year and she encouraged me to continue my writing and hinted that she would offer help.
I sent her some things and she had her agent write back to say that she feared
some kind of lawsuit if she helped me. I still do not understand that one.
Dr Angelou was shopping in a store where my son works here in Minnesota and he
had her call me as a Mothers Day surprise. She and I have spoken before.

I have been published locally but I am so determined yet feeling a little
depressed. There are other things going on in my life, but this is something
that is really hurtful.
I am asking your prayers.
