Good luck with the exams!!

Thanks, I know I'll need it sad.gif

James is right. How Long sounds more like an MK solo song than a DS one. If you're able to find the tabs for it, please let me have them too smile.gif

I don't think How Long has been played by Dire Straits, but The NottingHillbillies have played it a lot, which makes more sence,as it sounds more like a solo Mark Knopfler song than a Dire Straits song anyway.
I will dig out my tab for How Long,i know i have it somewhere!!.

The guitar work is simple yet addictive on this one. In all honesty, I've never tried playing this song because like I said I only recently discovered it.

I have always loved "How Long",because i love Mark's country songs, and this one has the great singing talent of Vince Gill on it,plus it's a great simple strum along song to play on accoustic, and the words are relly catchy, basically i love this song.

Yeah,it's a song that could have been on one of Marks solo albums, and he has played it a lot with The NottingHillbillies.

Agreed, QJF! Fade To Black is indeed a very bluesy song and a fantastic one at that.

Mark has a very unique talent for writing love songs and it goes without saying that Ticket To Heaven is one of all time favorites in that category.

On a related note, there isn't a single song on this album that needs getting used to, in my opinion.
