![]() ![]() KOTONE SAKURA 琴音桜 ![]() Nicknames: Sakura, Kura, Kuku-chan, Cherry Gender: Female Age: 12 DOB: May 9th Occupation: Student; Professional dancer working for Easter Base of Operations: Hanako Middle School, Easter Headquarters ![]() Faction: Easter Character Group: Easter Shugo Number: 1 Name(s): Kohaku [1] [2] Abilities:
~ White Illusion :: This itself is Sakura's most powerful ability, most especially because it is usable during Character Change as well as Character Transformation. This is Sakura's ability to essentially "fool" other people, though it transcends further than tricking with emotions. To those who have a weak will - namely, those who do not possess a Guardian Character - Sakura is able to mask her appearance to whatever it is that she wishes, though it is rather taxing to keep it up. She is also able to change her clothing and, during Character Transformation, mask certain things which might be aiding her as abilities or other similar things [for example, she could have an X-Egg that she has harnessed attacking an opponent, but pass it off as one of her own attacks]. Sakura's most common use of this ability is whilst dancing on stage, using it to cause her dancing moves to essentially hypnotize those with Heart's Eggs [and a low willpower in accordance with it] and essentially "shatter" the dreams of the child, turning the egg into an X-Egg. Special Note: This ability is dependent on Sakura's physical state [i.e. how tired out she is] and on her ability to focus. The loss of focus or tiredness due to the prolonged use of this ability will cause the illusion to either weaken or shatter completely. Weight: 75 lbs Physical Appearance:[listSakura, for all intents and purposes, is a small child. For her age, she is often considered under the average height, giving her a very child-like, almost frail look amongst many. Despite that, however, she is very much a lithe-built girl, mostly from her years of dancing. Her physical stature is rather wiry, giving her a thin, angular frame with almost uncanny amounts of strength and elegance in her muscles and movements. These are mostly inbred characteristics from dancing, easily attributed to her conditioning. One thing Sakura is very touchy about, however, is her hair. She often feels like her hair is a part of her personality and, as part of her bold tendencies, prefers to keep it long. She is known to tie it up into two long ponytails on either side of her head, with her bangs thicker on the right side of her head than on the left. Two long strands also come down from the sides, reaching to about her chest area or so. The style makes her look younger and often 'cuter', ironically opposite to her personality. Sometimes, she will also leave the back of her hair down, leaving it in a half-ponytail style but with a pony on either side of her head. Her eyes are a shade of dark crimson, an odd contrast to her light hair. Kohaku Kohaku's style is very simple. Her hair is long, reaching down to her ankles in a shade of light purple. Her eyes range between an amber orange to a dark red depending on the light. On her forehead is a symbol similar to a "z".
Clothing Style(s):
Sakura's style choice ranges depending on her mood. A lot of the time, she will be seen wearing dark greys intermingled with dark reds, though at times she does enjoy flamboyant light colours. She is known to dress in short skirts and semi-formal shirts, though she will sometimes exchange those for a pair of skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt. School Uniform Sakura's school uniform is quite simple. It consists of a one-piece dress with a flared skirt reaching to about her mid-thigh. The inside of the skirt's pleats is a dark red colour, while the dress itself is a shade of black. The dress itself exposes the area between the shoulders, with a low squared collar and a single piece of fabric holding it up in the front, similar to a halter-neck. The sleeves are full-length, loose and reaching down to her wrists. In the front is a red string tied in a double bow, hanging to about the waist or so. As well, there is a dotted stitch style around the wrists with bows in the same red colour. Finally, Sakura's footwear consists of a pair of knee-high boots, in the same black colour as her dress and with the same dotted stitch style with bows with a red thread along the top. Kohaku Kokaku's style of dress is quite simplistic. She is clad in a completely sleeveless dress with a pleated skirt. This dress is in a shade of dark grey, with a purplish trim along the top. Her legs are clad in plain black leggings reaching from her thigh to her ankles, with purple tops and a purple-tinged metal along her shins and the top of her foot. Her arms are clad in similar black armbands reaching from the start of her bicep to her wrist, with small dog collars along the upper arm and aroun dthe wrist. Around her neck is a simple dog collar in a purple shade. Character Transformation: Heartless Fiend While Sakura is able to change how her Character Transformation appears with her White Illusion ability, she is still bound to a true Character Transformation without the use of her illusions when utilizing Kohaku's abilities. As Heartless Fiend, Sakura's hair is tied up in the usual two ponytails, with two black ribbons holding them tight. Her upper body is clad in a sleeveless black leotard, tight to her body and reaching just a little up on her neck. Above and below her less-than-well-endowed bust are two crimson-red belts, thin but for accent purposes. Around the collar of the leotard is a crimson red dog collar holding it from flapping lose. She also has a small gold plate just above the middle of her sternum, on her neck to protect the vulnerable pressure point there. Sakura's lower body is clad in a skirt with a belt attached to the leotard. The belt is red in colour, crossing in the front and appearing to hang loosely. Hanging down the sides and back of the belt is a frilled piece of fabric in a sort of off-white pink colour. Hanging from the front is a triangular piece of black fabric, for the sake of decency despite the fact that she is wearing a leotard. Sakura's legs are clad in a pair of tight black leggings, full-foot but reaching only to about her mid-thigh or so. In the front and back they form an odd bent L-shape, with the fabric higher on the outside of her legs and shorter on the inside. These are trimmed with a red line, as well as with three small strips of metal along the outside, just above her knee. Finally, Sakura's feet are clad in short greaves, reaching from her ankle to her toes with a sort of cybernetic style to them, as well as a gold triangle on the top of her foot. Sakura's arms are clad quite uniquely, though still fitting with the theme of her Character Transformation. Her right hand is clad in a simple, full-finger blac glove, tight around her hand but flaring out at the wrist. It is held tight by a small dog-collar in a shade of red. On the back of her hand is a small gold triangle, used for blocking attacks most of the time. Her left arm, however, is clad in a long, black, fingerless glove, reaching to just below the elbow and tight to her arm. Over that, Sakura wears a plain, silvery-metal arm guard, with two protrusions on the back of her forearm as well as a plate to cover the back of her hand. Accenting it is a small strip of gold metal along the top of the hand plate. Last but not least, on her upper riht arm, a little above her elbow or so, is a thick red dog collar. The final touch to Sakura's Character Transformation is the cloack most often found around her shoulders. It is loose, tying just in front of her bust and held fast with a silver clip. The outside of the cloak is a dark navy colour, while the inside resembles a crimson red. The collar of the cloak closely resembles the stereotypical vampire cape. The cloak reaches down to about Sakura's knees. ![]() Personality:
Outwardly, however, Sakura has to be one of the meanest people you could ever meet. Her blunt tendencies often come to light in many situations, with Sakura speaking her mind in the rudest ways possible. Around teachers and other superiors, she will often keep this under control; people her age and those she sees as inferior life forms, however, would not be spared from her wrath. To insult a person would not be out of character for her; as well, depending on who you are, she may or may not resort to racial slurs or even vulgar terms for people. Deep down, however, Sakura's personality is much different. Psychologically in comparison to most others her age, her mental stage is very advanced, though in ways which many would not like to comprehend. Sakura is nearly a full-blown sadist underneath the childish guise, often taking pride in the failures of others. This is part of the reason she works for Easter; she gets to have her fun while destroying the dreams of other children. Many other Easter workers dislike the idea of destroying the eggs, often doing it out of necessity or under orders; Sakura, however, takes full pride in the destruction of a child's dreams. These deep psychological differences were what gave birth to her Guardian Character, Kohaku. Sakura has a deep hatred for her parents and how they have messed with her life. While dancing can be considered an escape for her, she never truly found it interesting until her Guardian Character, Kohaku, was born. Once she realized that Kohaku was able to help her destroy the dreams of others, she became much more interested in it, going to the point of applying at Easter with no other reason than to aid in finding the Embryo and, in the process, ruin as many childrens' dreams as possible. Generally, Sakura is seen acting like a spoiled brat in the eyes of others. Towards others, she is quite demanding; rather than asking, she will simply tell them to do something, and that is that. Many times it has been said that the girl needs to 'get off her high horse', but her popularity as a dancer has only served to fuel her demanding nature. At times, she can also be quite cynical, and considerably rude, as she believes others should bow to her, and not the opposite. Kohaku Kohaku is the manifestation of Sakura's inner self, the almost psychopathic personality Sakura often keeps reigned in for the sake of staying "under the radar". Kohaku has a love for destruction and trouble, doing things ranging from simply pulling fire alarms to pulling some of the meanest jokes on people. She takes an utter pride in the pain of others, especially physical and emotional, and to see someone break down because of words that were said to them is nothing but a game for Kohaku. Seeing peoples' lives become messed up is simply a game for her; she doesn't care how bad things turn out for the other person, so as long as she gets to have her fun, she's ready to do anything. History:
Sakura was the second child of the household; she had an older half-brother by the name of Tsuyoshi. He was four years older than her. She had a relatively normal life, growing up learning how to figure skate at first, then into dancing. She went to multiple figure skating competitions, though she quickly lost interest in the sport and turned to dancing. While her brother, Tsuyoshi, was busy learning the art of kendo from their father's dojo, Sakura was learning how to dance in various different styles. Life transcended easily from then on, as Sakura grew into her personality. Partly due to the treatment given by her brother, as well as her parents, Sakura grew to be relatively stuck-up, as she was considered part of the popular crowd at school. She was well-known and quite well-liked because she was a dancer, and was beginning to grow in fame at that. She was constantly participating at competitions for various styles of dancing, from hiphop to ballet, jazz to tap. It was then, however, that the arguments started. Their family was soon beginning to be watched by the police force, as stories began to surface about her father's business partners being involved in the crime ring. Sakura spent many nights in her room, her hands over her ears as her parents argued in the living room. She began to hate them, to despise them for the sort of life they were creating for her. She was doing so well, working so hard to become a good dancer, and all they could think about was arguing with each other? To her, it was pathetic, and weak. She felt as if they lacked care for her, and so... Her personality changed. Before, she had been happy, particularly quiet with a high-strung personality, but now, she was no more than a bully. She began to talk down to people, though she was careful never to get herself caught; she was, as always, the typical bully. Say things you want, but feign innocence. Her teachers would often put it off as people being jealous of her and wanting to get her in trouble, simply because of her reputation. Little were they aware, however, that it was much the opposite. Sakura's mother, growing tired of her father's double life and the fact that they may be arrested, took Sakura and left their household, filing for divorce against her husband. It angered Sakura even more that her mother wouldn't care to make the choice because of what Sakura wanted; she chose to break away only because she was frightened for herself. Sakura's view of her mother began to degrade, and while she would act polite and caring to her face, deep down the young girl hated her. The night that they moved away, to another town on the other side of the island, Sakura woke up with an egg next to her. Curious, she picked it up, nearly dropping it in surprise; it was found to be warm. That morning, her mother told her one thing: that she should forget about her brother, Tsuyoshi, and her father, Ichirou. She went into a spiel, saying that Ichirou was not her real father, and that she would understand someday, but Sakura already knew. It angered her to hear her mother denounce such things and tell such slander and lies. Returning to her room, Sakura found that in her anger... The egg she'd found had hatched. Born from it was a creature known as a Guardian Character, by the name of Kohaku. Kohaku, it appeared, didn't like Sakura's mother, either; she wanted to play nothing but nasty tricks on her and cause trouble. Sakura, however, was able to keep Kohaku reigned in, much to the Chara's dislike. It was only a few years later, however, that Sakura came into view of a corporation known as Easter. Seeing the potential in her dancing skills as well as the fact that she had a Guardian Character, Sakura was hired by Easter, though her own mother was told that Sakura was to be dancing under their name, as they would bring her nothing but fame and fortune. It was while with Easter that Sakura was given a single test: to be able to defeat and destroy X-Eggs. She was told that X-Eggs were dreams of children that had become tainted, that needed to be destroyed, as they proved no real use in the search for the Embryo. Sakura wanted the Embryo, for one single thing: to be able to get rid of her mother. She didn't know how she would do so, but certainly the Embryo would be able to help her with that, or so she believed. In the process, she found nothing but pure amusement and pleasure in the destruction of X-Eggs. It was during the test that Easter gave her that Sakura unlocked her Heartless Fiend transformation, as well as realizing the extent of her abilities. Feeling that she was competent enough, Easter put in a request for Sakura to move back to the small town where their headquarters was located. Little did her mother remember, however, that it was the same town they had vacated years ago. Convinced by the monetary value that the move would bring because of Sakura's fame, their family chose to move back to the town, choosing a place close to a well-known middle school. Little was Sakura aware, however, that she would soon be facing someone she hadn't seen in many, many years.... ![]() Alias: Saska Gender: Female Age: 18 Timezone/Location: GMT -6, Saskatchewan, Canada How'd You Find Us?: Made the place. Roleplay Sample:
"Stupid Utau and her stupid moves... Who's choreographing her, anyway?" Sakura felt that Utau's way of dancing insulted her own dancing intelligence, because really, it was horrible. She thought that Utau should probably stick to just singing, and only perform live to steal X-Eggs. Perhaps if they got lucky, Sakura would be able to learn a choreographed dance number to one of Utau's songs, and they could perform together! Oh, how interesting that would be... Those weak-hearted children would stand no chance. "Should I do something about that, Kuku-chan?" Kohaku lilted, floating around her owner's head as if she were skating across the air. Her hands were locked behind her back, feigning pure innocence. "I could do something like make a light fall on her head, and then she'd get a concussion and never be able to hit the stage again! She's your rival, after all, is she not?" Sakura liked the idea, but at the same time, Utau wasn't worth all of the hype that would case. "Oh, stuff it, Kohaku. Utau's not worth that kind of publicity. She needs to go back to living in her old slum life. Maybe if we can destroy her popularity, she'll go back to the slums like she deserves." Sakura herself didn't know whether Utau had actually lived in the slums, but from her impression, that's where she deserved to be: dressed in ratty old clothing, freezing in a back alley and living in a cardboard box. The thought made her giggle as she trudged down the street towards Easter's headquarters. Entering the building, she palmed the door open with a single hand, walking up past the front desk. A man stepped in front of her, and Sakura raised an eyebrow. She raised her ID card and shoved past him, stalking up towards the elevator. Stupid Easter bodyguards. Couldn't they be bothered to at least recognize her, for once? Sure, they couldn't see Guardian Characters, but really. She was a star, after all. They should have been able to recognize their own employees. ![]() lyrics are from "lotta love lotta love" [rottara rottara] by buono. character template compiled and created by saska. do not reuse or copy without prior permission. do not alter this template in any way, shape, or form during the character creation process without prior given permission of the administrator. -------------------- ![]() Also Plays: Hinamori Amu ; Takeru Sayuri |
