One of these days letters are gonna fall from the sky telling us all to go free, But until that day I'll find a way to let everybody know that you're coming back. even though you left me here I have nothing left to fear. When it came to school, Shin was the first to admit he wasn't any good at it. Not at all. The male was completely horrible at it to tell the truth. No matter how much he tried to keep his grades up, it always seemed just out of reach. It wasn't like he didn't try either, Shin just didn't know what to do. Everything he tried seemed to fail him. He tried studying more, tutoring, but the concept just slipped. It seriously depressed him, how was he supposed to be a hero if he couldn't even get schoolwork done?

Hakudoshi sighed as he felt the depressing presence of Shin's emotions. "This won't help shin. Doubting yourself this much wont help you get any better." the chara spoke to him. Shin looked up from the table he was sitting at. It was probably an hour after classes had let out. He had stayed after to try and get some extra studying. Sure, he wasn't getting the grades he wanted to get, but he wasn't failing at least. He worked hard and made an honest effort turning in his work. Due to that, he was getting C's and sometimes high D's, but at least he wasn't failing right?

Hakudoshi sighed as it seemed Shin was completely ignoring him. He pulled the small bow from his back and knocked shin upside the head with it. Shin snapped out of it instantly putting a hand to his head. "What was that for?" he said blinking up at the small chara. "You were completely ignoring me." the chara said. "How can i give you useful advice, if you don't listen to me?!" the chara spoke. He pulled the bow back on his back once more.

"Okay, okay, sorry." shin said standing up from his seat. He pulled his bag from off the back of the chair and started stuffing it with the books on the table he had been at. Hakudoshi tried to help as much as he could closing the notebook Shin had been scribbling in for him, just as the male picked it up and shoved it into his bag. He made sure to zip the bag up all the way before he slid it over his shoulder. He glanced at hakudoshi pushing his glasses up a bit from where they slid down his face.

"Come on Haku, I think it's time to go home." he said to the chara. Hakudoshi nodded and followed the blackette as he left the study room within the school. He walked down the halls expecting them to be pretty much empty. However, when he turned a corner into a main hallway a very familiar voice reached his ears. Sayuri. OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD! Shin could all ready feel his face heat up. Hakudoshi scrambled trying to pull shin together but quickly found out it was useless.

When it came to Sayuri, Shin was in his own little world. Shin looked around quickly finding a staircase close by. He quickly scurried himself as fast as he could behind it. He could feel his heart beating rapidly as the sound of her voice came closer and the boy hid behind the staircase. DANG IT! Why did this always happen!? Why couldn't he face her? Instead he always ran away! A knight wouldn't run away, his bad boy outer persona wouldn't either. Shin stayed there till he was sure he wouldn't be sighting.

Only then did he let himself pear from around the staircase after Sayuri. His face flushed a deep red and his heart rate calming down a bit. "What am I going to do with you Shin." Hakudoshi said shaking his head. Shin didn't hear him and wasn't aware of another "stalker" not to far away.

”Why did that woman resist me charms so easily? Is my character not suited to her at all? No, that can’t be it; even those who thought I was a little off still blushed when I treated them like a princess. She didn’t even blink…”

The resistance that Sayuri had given Aidan upon their first meeting had caused him quite the disturbance. He was not used to being so easily and coldly dismissed by a woman. And yet, he couldn’t help but feel a pull towards her. To some it may simply be that a narcissist such as himself just couldn’t take no for an answer, but yet he felt like that wasn’t the issue at all. No, he could take a no (sort of) when it came from a woman; he was a gentleman, not a pervert. Maybe, maybe this situation was that he was, no, could he? Could he really be having a…crush on this girl? That might just be the explanation; she was beautiful yet mysterious. If he could just get through that cold outer shell of hers, to let her open up whatever it is that made her so cold, she could easily be the most breathtaking girl in the school.

As he mused over this girl, Aidan suddenly heard her voice. Was he thinking about her so much he could hear her speak?! Looking up, he spotted the girl walking off in the distance. A slight blush on his face, Aidan hid behind a corner, peeking around only enough to be able to see her walking off. Why he did that he had no idea. Maybe he was just curious about her life? Yeah, that had to be it. When she was a decent distance away, he slowly made his way out of the corner…and glancing a boy hiding behind the staircase glancing at the girl. HOW DARE HE STALK SAYURI! (Aidan failed to recognize the cognitive dissonance that thought brought forth).

In an instant, Aidan was rushing over to the guy, placing a hand firmly on his shoulders, turning him around till the two could face man to man like gentleman should. Glaring down on the boy, he spoke.

”What do you think you’re doing stalking Sayuri like that! A true gentleman does not drop to that level! What is your name good sir?!”

To be honest, Shin was rather that Sayuri didn't notice him. He was all flushed and his heart beat to fast. He didn't think he would be able to get anything out at all. He would probably only make a fool of himself. Probably stutter and do absolutely nothing to help his crush on the female. Great, just great, he was being reduced to a bumbling idiot. This was not going to help his ego boost at all. Once again, Shin had gone off on another mind rant on himself. And once again, Hakudoshi could only sit back and watch him.

The chara's eyes caught another male however, as he moved a hand to his glasses. He moved them a bit, to make sure he was actually see what he thought he was seeing. Yep, it wasn't a dream all right, but what was this new addition to the breathing space doing. From his look, it seemed that he had been following Sayuri around, especially with the way he looked after the blonde female. Hakudoshi wasn't sure if he was surprised, or concerned that there were more stalkers other than shin over the female. Hakudoshi was starting to feel really bad for the girl.

When he saw the blonde catch sight of shin, he tried to pull the boy's attention back. It was almost impossible however and Haku sighed. This wasn't going to end well was it? Shin didn't hear Haku's rant trying to get him to pay attention or even hear the light tapping of Aiden's footsteps as he made his way to the boy. He did however almost jump five feet into the air when he felt someone touch him. He didn't fight Aiden's grip as he turned him around toward him.

Shin's face however was flustered with fright above all else, since the blonde had startled him. Though, it would probably mean the exact opposite to the blonde in front of him. Aiden probably reading it as a reaction to being caught stalking Sayuri when that wasn't it at all. Shin pulled his conscious back within his reach as he started to listen to the words that came out of the blonde's mouth. S-STALKING?! H-He hadn't been stalking Sayuri!

H-He had just ran into her, and couldn't face her. Sure he hid behind the steps, but that was because he wasn't good with facing the blonde female. He realized that he had let silence go on for to long, probably only making the whole situation worse. He flustered flailing his hands in a windshield wiper movement in front of him. "N-No! That isn't it at all! I was just- I mean I .. ugh.." he didn't even know what to say to the blonde. Hakudoshi couldn't help but sigh at the flustering Shin. He needed his help and bad.

With a flick of his wrist he brought on a character change upon Shin. Instantly the change was seen as the male instantly calmed down. Thankfully by this point Shin's hands where back at his side, so the sudden appearance of a glove on his hand wouldn't be noticeable. Shin seemed to squint a bit as he brought up his opposite hand to his glove to his face taking off his glasses. It always hurt when he changed, cause of his sight.

Only then did he come back to the present situation. He looked up at Aidan once more after placing his glasses on his shirt. He offered his hand to the blonde as he moved his gloved one into his pocket. "My name is Shin Fujiko, and I was not stalking her. I just have trouble speaking to Sayuri so.. I hid." he said. This time he noticed Haku as he floated over. "You should know Shin, that this guy was also stalking Sayuri." the chara said now that Shin was listening to him.

"Though.. I guess the thing is why are you saying such things to me when -YOU- where stalking her as well. Who thought a gentleman would really be a hypocrite." he said.

Aidan looked on as the boy showed fear at the site of him being caught, mixed with some fluster from of course being caught spying on a girl. It was right that he felt such fear; the wrath of a gentleman was not something to take lightly. Of course, Aidan really didn’t look all that scary; he had a serious glare to him but not much else. Scary or not, there was no way he was going to sit by and let his Sayuri be stalked upon by some kind of random pervert (again, ignoring the fact he had just been doing the same just a moment ago). The guy of course attempted to deny it, but no one could fool Aidan Takahashi so easily.

”You were what? Why else would you be hiding behind a set of stairs looking at a woman except to stalk her?!” he replied, the sting of accusation in his voice as he pointed right at the boy.

All of a sudden the boy calmed down, and Aidan began to pull back. So the boy finally accepted that he was caught had he? The quiet calm before the criminal admitted to his crime. Aidan felt triumphant, but as the boy began to introduce himself and explain away his actions by talking about the trouble he had speaking with her. To be fair Aidan could understand it since he had issues himself…though more of what he said didn’t interest her than the inability to say anything to her at all. More importantly though…the guy had caught him earlier looking at Sayuri. Aidan’s face turned more downcast by that point.

”Uhm, well uh…okay fine, you got me. I let a moment of jealousy get in the way of my rationality. I guess I can’t fault you for it though; there’s something about the mysterious beauty that is Sayuri that draws you to her…”

By this point Aidan was starting to cool off about the stalking thing and instead focus on the positive side of Sayuri. Sure he now had yet another rival for her (the first being that Masaru boy always with her), but it could work out fine. Together they could pry her away from Masaru long enough to fall for one of them. Finger tapping his chin as he thought, he finally remembered he had yet to introduce himself to the boy.

”By the way, the name is Aidan Takahashi.”

Shin really didn't know how to feel about this guy. The first thing that did cross his mind was that he wasn't a shugo owner. If he had been he would of noticed Hakudoshi by now and would of probably heard the chara give him away to shin. For know he let the thought slide from his mind. So what if he wasn't a shugo owner. That didn't really matter to him. Just because he didn't have a chara didn't mean he wasn't worth Shin's time. Anyone now a days that didn't run from him on site was okay with him. So, maybe, if this blonde got over the whole stalking things there was a possibility the two of them could be friends.

Shin didn't know it then, but it was that thought that would get him into major trouble. Hakudoshi came over after Shin calmed down and moved to Aidan. He seemed to almost be examining and it took everything Shin had not to say anything and make himself look like an idiot for talking to thin air. Or at least thin air to Aidan who couldn't see the small chara. Shin's concentration moved back to the blonde when he spoke once more to him. Something about his comment of stalking Sayuri himself? Shin told himself to pay attention instead of watching Hakudoshi.

Jealousy eh? He knew that word. A lot of people felt it, and he couldn't blame the blonde. If Shin had been in the same situation as him, he probably would of reacted the same way. Though, he never really would stalk Sayuri. She would kill him if she ever found out. Her and Mami, thought mami would probably laugh at him for getting in trouble with his "crush". Sometimes Shin wondered how his sister got so much information out of him. He didn't think his crush was that obvious, unless they were times like this.. when he was caught hiding. He guessed he felt a bit closer to the blonde in front of him because of all this.

"Don't worry about it. We all know what jealousy can do. I've seen it countless times, as well as experiencing it. Don't fret." he said. He really hoped that everything would be okay between the two of them after this. He really didn't need another person avoiding him. "Shin.. if you want people to be your friend, stop doubting yourself. That is the first step." Haku said once more returning to his side. Shin let his eyes glance that way for a moment and sighed. Haku was right as always. The two of them could definitely be friends.

Shin smiled when he introduced himself. "Its nice to meet you Aidan." he replied. He kept his hand out wondering if Aidan was going to shake it or if he should put it back in his pocket. If the blonde didn't in a few seconds he would retreat once more. He felt out of place again, but with Hakudoshi and the character change in place he felt a bit better than he normally would. "So, other than the whole Sayuri thing, do you think maybe we could be friends instead of rivals?" he said calmly to the blonde. He did hope this worked out just like it had in his head.

If it didn't... This day was going to suck.
