Member Groups and Factions

All right, so here's a key as to figuring out what member groups include what people.

Basic Key:

[ADM] - Forum Administrator
[MOD] - Forum Moderator
[MEM] - Forum Member

Staff members' names are italicized in the online list to distinguish them from other members.

Now, for each of the basic groups [disincluding the aforementioned suffixes].

Guardian :: This group is for those who are members of the Guardians, period. These people own Shugo Charas. Currently, they are only canon characters. They may also include, however, Guardian Apprentices. Examples are Hotori Tadase and Fujisaki Nadeshiko. These also include people closely affiliated with the Guardians, such as Amakawa Tsukasa.

Easter :: These are people who are members of Easter and are searching for the Embryo. They own Shugo Charas, and may be canon or original. Examples are Tsukiyomi Ikuto and Tsukiyomi [Hoshina] Utau. As well, people who work for Easter [such as Sanjou Yukari and Nikaidou Yuu] are included in this group.

Lorelai :: These are members of the organization known as Lorelai, and they work essentially as rival Guardians at a different school. All of them are highschool students attending the unnamed highschool Ikuto and Utau also attend. There are a total of 8 positions disincluding the Pawns, which are unlimited and the most numerous. However, the 8 highest members are known as a clique at the school, though their true purpose remains hidden from those who do not own a Shugo. They prefer to keep to themselves and avoid interacting with Easter or the Guardians if at all possible.

Soloist :: These people may be of either the cause that Easter represents - obtaining the Embryo through whatever means possible - or of the cause of the Guardians, which is obtaining the Embryo through positive ways. They, however, work solo or in their own groups, and may or may not have light affiliations with the other groups. They may also be dedicated to purifying X-Eggs. There are currently no examples of this. Lorelai's pawns are often categorized as this as they do not play much of a role in the organization itself. This also includes people with the ability to see Guardian Characters that are not attached to any of the factions.

Other :: These are people that own Shugo Charas but do not have any affiliation with the above. Examples would be some of the numerous filler characters present in the anime.

Zatsubutsu :: The Zatsubutsu are an out-of-school grouping of various Shugo Owners who are dedicated to having a monopoly over others who have Guardian Characters. They desire the Embryo specifically for this cause.

The Factions

Because the search for the Embryo is a main part of the storyline, there have been many factions created by various Shugo Owners that are competing for the Embryo. There are currently four [4] main factions active on the site.

Guardians

Standing for righteousness and helping others, the Guardians are a student council at Seiyo Elementary comprised of four main Chairs, four Apprentices, and two other optional chairs. They are elected by the Chairman of the school, who is also the Founding King of the Guardians.

Easter

Hiding under the guise of a multifaceted corporation, Easter is run by the director Hoshina Kazuomi, who answers to their Lord, "Gozen", who is actually Kazuomi's grandson, Hikaru. Easter wishes to find the embryo through whatever means possible, and while they are searching worldwide for the Embryo, their main headquarters is in Japan. Their most popular members are Tsukiyomi Ikuto and Tsukiyomi "Hoshina" Utau. They believe that X-Eggs are "junk", and use the ability to draw out the eggs to find the Embryo. There are no definite rankings throughout the organization.

Lorelai

*note: Lorelai is a custom faction that is very secretive, so in order to join the group, the character themselves will have to undergo a test in order to be considered part of the group. This test will most likely be run off-panel with the Queen or, if you wish, can be run in a forum thread. applying for a Lorelai character means you will get the spot, but you must be aware that those are the joining circumstances [if you've applied for the position you're clearly going to get it by first-come-first-serve in regards to applying.]

Lorelai is a group of highschool students, all of which possess Guardian Characters and have the ability to Character Transform. They are a group that prefers to keep to themselves, having no non-Shugo Owner associates and preferring to avoid contact with anyone involved with Easter or the Guardians. They also desire the Embryo, though their means are vast and their plans unknown. They masquerade themselves as a popular clique at one of the highschools [more specifically, Ikuto and Utau's highschool]. They have a total of eight [8] main positions.

The Lorelai High Council consists of the top eight members of the organization, including the Founding King and Queen. While they are considered a high council, they value all members of their organization and abilities. In order to qualify for a member of the High Council or the Advisory Council.

The Zatsubutsu's sole dedication in their fight for the Embryo is to gain it in order to create a monopoly over all others who own Guardian Characters. Not much else is known about them. They, unlike the other three factions, are run outside of any companies or schools and therefore have a mixture of age groups.
