Sayuri walked into the music room, a scowl on her face. She had gotten into a fight with a fellow student over the rights of everyone in the world. Needless to say, she almost made a pen stab him many, many times.

I swear, the people of today are so stupid! She glared everything within eye shot and went to see if anyone was around. It was very, very empty. Sayuri grinned. No one would bother her.

She closed the door, and walked to the back of the room. This was how she normally calmed herself down, and it was a good way unlike those many years ago. She was lucky that it was lunch, so she wouldn't get caught for skipping class like she normally did.

She didn't know what she wanted to sing, so she settled with a song that was rough and almost angry sounding, but with a gentle voice. Just like her.

She sighed, and closed her eyes, pretending that was singing to her friends in the good old days when nothing mattered, and let the music of her mind take her away.

"Listen, a heartless shout.
Listen, a heartless cry.
Listen, a heartless world.
Listen, a heartless shout.
Listen, a heartless cry.
Listen, a heartless world.

Kimi no kaori sae wakaranai
Kimi no shigusa sae wakaranai
Subete no kioku wo kakikesare

Sugite yuku kisetsu no naka de
Megurumeku toki no nagare ni
Subete wo nomarete shimatte

Kimi no moto e tadoritsuku

Arasoi atta hibi no kanashimi ni kuzureta yoru sae
Ima wo ikiru tame no kate ni kawari

Yakusoku no jikan da ne koko de ima

Kimi wo sagasu kedo doko ni mo inai doushite nee

Dare ka kotae wo"
She held that note, and repeated the first part of the song.

She opened her eyes, and tears clouded her vision, and slowly began to fall.

Damnit, Sayuri. Don't you cry... One hand went to wipe away the tears, but the wouldn't stop falling.

Sukumo walked in the room with her music held to her chest in one arm and her flute case in the other hand- she thought nobody was here.
"You- have a very nice singing voice.... but why are you crying?"
She smiled sincerly.

"Eh?" She wiped her eyes dry. "I'm not crying!" Her foot stomped down, and she looked at Sukumo. A first year girl, eh?

She opened her eyes and stepped back.
"Yup is there a ptoblem with that?" with a bit of defensive edge to her voice.
She slowly opens her hand and the spirit charm glows a light blue, barly visible to a regular person.

"Heh. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with your friends, enjoying a nice lunch?" She really didn't want to deal with this, but she couldn't ignore the younger girl.

Her arms crossed with each other and went over her chest, the cross necklace she wore glowing a very, very, VERY faint color of red.

HEr charm glowed a fiercer blue as she looked at this girl.
"I was looking around the school, I kinda got lost I was going to the ballroom to meet up with some friends before my next class starts."
Her eyes narrowed as she examined this girl.

"The ballroom, eh? So you managed to get into a room in the Music Hall while finding your way to the Ballroom? Heh. A likely story." She smirked, getting herself pumped up again. Though she couldn't let herself use her dark powers, and her necklace made sure to keep on warning her.

"Sayuri eh?" she said as her scpwl turned into a blank face.
"Nice name" she smiled.

((Second year, really. ^^;; ))

"Suki, eh? I'll have to remember that." Her necklace faded to having no color, going back to silver. Her eyes went to look at her flute case.

"What do you play?" She motioned to the case.

The spirit charm turned back to silver as well as Suki smiled.
"I play the flute, have been for 3 years now.."
She looked down for a moment.

"Well then, why don't you play for a bit?" Sayuri tried to make polite conversation. "And...Suki, I've been playing music for years, singing for all of my life and an expert in most instruments." And she wasn't lying. Her necklace glowed again, but it was a light blue this time.

Sukumo blinked a couple times in shock.
"How about you sing alittle"
She smiled weakly.

She tilted her head to the side. "But I already sang...and I want to hear someone play. I haven't heard anyone play in ages." She wouldn't admit how true that statement was to anyone in this school or planet.
