Aama looked with her goldenish-yellow eyes at the church, but didn't dare to enter it. Like the first and last time Aama was here, she had come during lunchtime since she was bored and had nothing else to do. And maths was next too so if she was late, she could say that she got lost.
Her sister would kill her, but it was maths after all.

But the truth was, Aama had to come here again. She could feel the gun in her jacket pocket; a black, mufti jaket that she carried around in her bag to keep the gun in since the pocket had a zip. And while there were no teachers around Aama had put on her jacket. It was nice and warm. And the gun made Aama feel more comforted, knowing that it still had a good few bullets in it; not that she'd dare to use it unless she had to.

I wonder if I should leave it here, Aama asked herself. The entire reason why she was here actually. She originally wanted to leave the gun here, but now that it came to it Aama wanted to keep the gun. She knew that no good could come from it, but Aama.... She was confused.

"It's a closed question Aama," Aama whispered to herself. "Are you gonna keep the damn thing or not?"
I'm keeping it, she automatically thought and soon felt stupid for coming here. It was a waste of time coming here after all. Aama took off her jacket and started to shove it in her school bag when she saw person approaching the church.
Dammit, Aama cursed. Well they can't really bust me since I am returning to the school.

"Hi," Aama mumbled to the person, as the person came within hearing range. She fought with the zip on her bag, to close it. It was being a rather adamant bag at the moment when it came to closing it.

"Hey." The figure greeted as he approached, resolving into a dark-haired boy of average hight with a pretty, delicate face. His expression was entirely blank, not a bit non-plussed to find another person in this desolate place.

Internally, Raven was more than a bit suprised-- HE had a good reason to be here, but how many Dark Mages of the ancient European methods could there possibly be at a traditional Japanese school? Either way he sensed no Power in her, waking or dormant, just the sense that this was a person about whom the Luck moved strongly. Possibly dangerous anyway, he noted, disregarding her appearance as a small blond woman. After all, plenty of people who had no Power of their own could still wield it.

With a small sigh, he dropped to his knees beside the girl's bag, which seemed to be rather uncooperative. "Here." Tugging it all the way open he re-aligned the two sides. This time the zipper slid shut effortlessly over what looked like a jacket of some sort.

Rising to his feet, he offered the blonde girl a hand up.

(OOC: Um, Aama's hair is black not blonde^^")

"Hey," was the reply Aama had gotten from a boy that she decided ressembled a doll she had seen in a shop long, long before. One of those rich china ones that Aama actually remembered seeing in her brief time in Italy. Man, it was one weird place.

Aama watched the boy with hawk-like eyes as he got down on his knees and started to open up her bag. Aama held her breath, fearful that he was going to discover what was hidden in her coat. What would happen if he did? Would he tell on her?
Who could he tell on her to? The teachers? The cops? Aama gulped as she realised that he could tell her sister. SHe didn't want Eimi to know...

Calm down! Aama commanded herself. He's closing the bag. See Aama? Don't over-react.
Aama blinked at the hand offered to her and took it; she would have been grateful if she hadn't been completely scared that this person would find out about the gun.
"Um," Aama tried to think what to say. Normal, unsuspicious people would say something.
"Thanks," Aama managed to say. "For helping me with my bag I mean."
She slung her bag over her shoulder, before changing her mind to wear it properly; it felt more secure that way.

"So, what are you doing here?" Aama asked, wondering why he was here indeed. Shouldn't he be eating lunch with his friends or something?

Raven smirked slightly, and thought for a moment.

"It's odd," he said, "to find a Christian church this old in a traditional Japanese school. I was curious." Dark eyes ran over the remains of the alter, gilt flakes twinkling here an there in the fallen leaves. Now that he was no longer focused on the girl, Raven could sense Power sleeping here, built into the stones. Perhaps one of the long-ago priests had been a mage; ironic, considering the church's stance on "witchcraft".

"Besides," he said, turning back to the girl lest she think him utterly rude. "I am not a native of this country, and still find the language difficult. Socializing is far less interesting when you don't understand half the jokes." He managed a wry smile.

"What are you doing here? I answered you, and now I'm curious as to why you're here."

"It's more odd than you think..." Aama agreed, looking over at the church. But she wasn't on about how it was a Christian Church in a Japanese school; but was referring to the time that she was in there with two other boys from the school. Strange things had happened in there, leading up to how she still possessed the gun and was hiding it in her jacket.

"Don't worry about the language," Aama said with a bit of a laugh. "I can understand you more than I understand any of the teachers."
Aama nearly completely froze up at the question, that was shot back at her. She had no idea how to answer it.

"Um, well...." Aama tried to say. "You see.... I was bored and just went for a walk around. Yup, a nice walk to the church and back like every lunchtime before Maths."
Oh great, Aama grumbled in her head, while keeping a smile on her face. Who on earth would believe that rubbish?

Raven smirked slightly, recognizing the lie for what it was, but unwilling to call the girl on it. What did it really matter to him, after all? And he had hardly been telling the complete truth himself.

"It is a beautiful place to walk." He commented, softly enough he could have been talking too himself. Turning his back to the girl, he dropped to one knee in the dust before the remains of the alter, turning a flake of ancient gilt over in his fingers.

"We should probably go back soon if either of us wishes to make it to class." He added, a bit louder. He rose to his feet smoothly, pocketing the flake of of antique gold. "I don't believe you've given me the honor of your name." It was as much comment as question, as Raven turned to study the mysterious girl.

I knew it, Aama thought to herself. He didn't buy the lie. I can at least be thankful that he's accepting it.
The boy, Aama started to notice, acted a bit different to most of the other ones. He seemed a bit more... deep and insightful were the only words Aama could think of.
But she guessed that that was because he wasn't born here and probably came form a place where they were always like that.

"Hmm, go back to Maths...?" Aama pondered. Usually she'd avoid it at all costs, but Maths overruled the church by far. She did't like this church after the incident.
"Well, I don't want to get in trouble or anything, so it does make sense," Aama decided, realising (too late) that she was talking to herself. She felt her face go a bit red and stared at the ceiling for a second.

"The honour of my name?" Aama repeated dumbly. Was that what he said? Or did he say something about chucking Aama in a jail cell for owning a gun.
Aama mentally slapped herself for being paranoid; of course he was only asking her name!
"Boku wa Inoda Aama," Aama introduced herself. "Onamae wa..."

*Okay, I'm closing this thread since you haven't been on for a while AshesOfRoses. Sorry =,( But PM me if you want to start another one with Raven and Aama, okay?*
