(Yes! I have finally out this up! My excuses are on night I had parent-teacher interviews and last night I had to watch my brothers play. He was one darn good sheriff ) Kuroda Ruki looked at the class, spilling out of the changing rooms. They were now in perfect PE gear, or at least most of them. Ruki had to rip a piece of string off one of the girls wrists. The girl protested, but then realised who she was protesting against and decided to keep quiet. Apart from that, most of the other students seemed to have their PE gear in pretty mint condition. "Now," Ruki said. "Since, at the moment anyway, I like you better than my third year class, I won't make you run fifty laps." Haizea felt her stomach churn, remembering the time they had had to do fifty laps. She was surprised that she was still alive! Then again, Haizea wasn't what you'd call the fittest person in the class.... "Instead," Ruki continued. "You'll be running from this cone," Ruki touched the top of the cone with her finger, "To the one over there." Ruki finished by pointing to a cone, a good two hundred metres from the first. "Uh, what's the radio for, Kuroda-sensei?" Haizea asked, with a raised hand. "Good question skinny," Ruki said, Haizea frowning at the nickname. "If you don't make it to the other cone by the time the radio beeps--I'll be playing a tape--expect a hundred push-ups and a detention if you miss the beep three times. "Luckily," Ruki added with a bit of a grin. "I'm feeling kind today." Someone coughed. "And I'm going to pair you off with two other people. You'll take turns at running to the cone and back, so one person runs before the beep and then the next person runs at the next beep. So I'm giving you a fair rest while you wait for the other two to finish their beep." Haizea should have expected to be paired off with people she didn't really know. At least she knew their names: Leahshi and Karinta. But Haizea wondered what use that was, since she had a bit of a preference to call others by their family names. Better act dumb as if you don't know their names, Haizea decided as she looked over at them. "Hi," Haizea said with a nervous wave. "Watashi wa Hodei Haizea desu. Onamae wa...?" (Since Leah-chan puts this in, I figure I might as well too even though I'm sure a few people know what Haizea said. Watashi wa Hodei Haizea desu=I'm Haizea Hodei. Onamae wa...?=And you...? Dunno if she was supposed to add tachi though, since she's speaking to both of them.)

(OOC: Wow O.O And I was about to request this thread to be deleted. I'm glad I had some hope left in this! *dramatic tear-cry thing with sunset in the background.* I checked and Kuri's in A-6. As far as I know, minus Karinta, it's just us two. Ahaha, Ruki and Leahshi have met!)
"That's okay," Haizea assured the girl who had introduced herself as Misaki Leahshi. "I'll run first if you want--" "Stop talking skinny and get ready!" a sharp voice snapped, making Haizea jump up in fright. Kuroda-sensei's voice could easily pierce through me, Haizea realised. Why can't any of the teachers be nice? ...Or normal.
Haizea looked over at Kuroda-sensei who was, luckily, not seemingly interested in her anymore and was in fact telling the other kids to hurry it up. Haizea turned her ears off just before a punishment was announced to all of them if they weren't sorted in the next thirty seconds.
"Oh," Haizea, now whispering, whispered. "And it's nice to meet you Misaki Leahshi."

Kuroda sensei's eyes sharply glared over a girl who had fallen down on her knees. In her time teaching here, Kuroda sensei had never seen a student fall over so easily; unless she had made them fall over of course. So the idea that a student fell over during her first run--while the beeps hadn't sped up--didn't appeal to the cold P.E. teacher as well.
Haizea, who was surprised by Leahshi going down on her knees, had all intention of running over to her team mate to ask what had happened, but she recieved a warning glare from Kuroda sensei. Not that Haizea was 100% sure that the glare was directed at her. "Run, skinny," Kuroda sensei told Haizea, somewhat coldly, as another beep went; signalling Haizea's turn. Kuroda sensei turned her attention back to the girl on her knees.
"Get up before you miss the next beep, you weakling," Kuroda sensei said as if she was pricking poison into the girls skin. Or at least that's how Haizea had imagined it. Haizea, as she passed Leahshi, gave her team mate a look that said she was sorry for not running over to help her. But the look also said that she didn't want to get in trouble more than anyone else did.

"Gomen nasai, Sensei." the young girl had muttered. Kuroda sensei had fully expected that the girl would get up and run since the next beep was coming--it had just gone. But instead, the girl had added, "But I'm not going to run."
Ruki felt the heat flare up in her stomach, lungs and eyes. She kept it down to a minimum though; in case she lost her temper which wouldn't be entirely good at all. Taking a few steps closer to the girl, Kuroda sensei glared at her with a burning look (not literally) at her defiance.
"And do you," Kuroda sensei paused, looking at her roll to find the girl's name. "Miss Misaki... Leahshi's quite an odd name. Anyway, do you Miss Misaki have any good reason as to why you refuse to run and let your team down?"
Kuroda sensei would have recognised the girl's scent as much as the girl had recognised her if it wasn't for the fact that she had gotten to taking this teaching job quite seriously.

"Do not take my team down with me. Punish me instead. I'll take it."
Kuroda sensei looked away from the girl and over to Haizea and the other team mate who had stopped to watch what was happening. "Beat the beep or you two will be punished too!" The two girls quickly nodded and started to get back into the rythm of running again as Kuroda sensei looked back to Misaki Leahshi.
"Are you trying to be noble," Kuroda sensei demanded, quieter than a shout, feeling a vein pop in her head. "Acting like this will only make the punishment on the three of you worse than it already is!"
Haizea watched the two females facing eachother. To the eye they were teacher and student. To the brain they were teacher and student. But to Haizea's inner eye, her clairvoyance, they were red and blue. Haiea felt the gears in the back of her mind try to make the clairvoyance see more than it already did, but all she could make out was red and blue. "Go..." the other girl hissed, having ran her part. Haizea noddded and ran.

Now the heat was definitely lurching in Ruki's stomach; thrashing around her insides, trying to defy Ruki's instruction to stay inside where it wasn't noticeable. Haizea saw the red that was affiliated with the PE teacher leap up. It had startled her and she had tripped over in surprise. Luckily the teacher hadn't appeared to notice yet.
Ruki was quick to calming herself down as much as she could manage for the moment. She forcefully pointed a finger in the direction of the PE office. "My office," Ruki said with little restraint on her tone of voice. "NOW!!!" Ruki picked up her whistle and looked at it briefly for a seconds, seeing that the metal on it was starting to steam up, as if steam was attaching itself to it. Ruki quickly ignored this and blew the whistle with least gentle fashion she could.
"New plan!" Ruki shouted to her students who had stopped. "Everyone gather in a circle around skinny and her friend. They will do pushups and every five they do, someone has to sit on them." Haizea gulpped and her eyes widened in shock. She was skinny and doubted that she could even hold herself up. "If they fail to do the pushups," Ruki said and stopped to think. "Make them do whatever PE excercise you please; but any abuse of the power I give you will lead to you getting it back three-fold."
Ruki then glared at Misaki Leahshi, already trying to plan out the intended doom for the "brave" student.

Haizea had only smiled at Leahshi. She had smiled reassuringly, hoping that it would cheer the girl up a bit since, after all, Haizea didn't believe in burdening others with problems or sadness. But, as soon as Leahshi had left, Haizea let out a puff of air as an annoyed sigh and pouted. Pressups was definitely not going to be fun.
Kuroda sensei had been able to regain control of herself; enough to calmly follow the green-haired, defiant, student into her office. The sensei, once in the office with the student, closed the door behind her and sat down in her chair; motioning Leahshi to sit down in the one across the table from her.
Kuroda sensei picked up a cup of coffee that she hadn't finished since this morning and took a sip of it; hoping that the cold liquid would calm her insides down or at least weaken them. Looking over at Misaki Leahshi, Kuroda sensei finally spoke. "Why did you act the way you did?" she asked plainly. "Why didn't you leave it as it was instead of getting a harsher punishment for you and your team mates?"

Ruki's eye twitched. In all her yea--I mean, in all her somewhat short but sure time of teaching she had never been spoken to in such a manner. This girl here, she had just proved to RUki how little she knew.
"You talk about me acting tough, well look at how you're acting!" Ruki snapped, slamming her hand on the desk and leaning forward. Realising her outburst, the woman sat back in her chair properly and casually, calming her mind down.
"So, in other words," Ruki continued. "You say that you make yourself sick. If you don't believe that you're acting tough, look at yourself. You defied a teacher's instruction; my instruction. I'm sure you've heard this before but: Us teachers want the best for you. I am only doing my job by making you fit. If you're not as atheletic as you claim--I won't say anything about your running since it's pathetic, enough said--then why don't I push you and the rest of the class harder until you are atheletic? Does that sound like a good idea?"
There was no friendly tone in Ruki's voice. There was no anger that had came with her snap of an outburst either. She had painfully managed to keep it calm and straight-forward; as a teacher should, when discussing problems or issues.
