PE lesson with Kuroda-sensei, For students in class A-4

Leah was silent for a moment, not looking at the woman. She began to shake a little, gritting her teeth and clenching her fists. "Yes, I make myself sick...Because I pretend to be strong because I'm not..."

'I couldn't protect my people from the death they have suffered.' She added sadly in her mind.

"But I'm going to change that. I'm not going to be weak anymore." she looked up at the woman. "If you think you can make me an athlete, then I'll follow your every command."

This was only her plan. She was going to really see if this woman was who she thought she was or if she was just a paranoid alien princess.

Now really, this girl, Misaki Leahshi, was starting to interest Kuroda sensei. She had admitted to being weak and had claimed a want to change that. But words weren't enough to make the PE teacher believe that the girl was telling the truth. In fact, it wouldn't surprise Ruki if she went back to being her old self; tripping over while pathetically running.

"I see..." was all Kuroda sensei said while she thought. What was she going to say next? There were near a million different points to be mentioned, but every one of them could be counted as irrelevant.
"I have a question for you," Kuroda sensei said. "Did you decide that just now? Surely if you have decided that at the start of the year or earlier, you would't have given up on the running exercise I gave you."

[Leahshi-sama]

"I've been thinking about changing for a while, Sensei. Since a tragic accident a while back...Ever since then, I've wanted to become stronger, but I haven't been able to push myself because I felt like I was just a weakling and no one would dare try and make me stronger."

You're not the only one, Sensei...Kura-senpai's been teaching me kendo to protect myself...Ever since the other accident... She thought as she looked up at the woman, her green eyes flashing crystal blue before turning green again.

"Let me say this, girl," Kuroda sensei said, now with no holding back of the firey coldness in her voice. "No one pushes you towards self improvement or any improvement at all. People shouldn't have to dare to make you stronger. All people do is guide you. You in the end must do all the hard parts by yourself."

Kuroda sensei remembered how she and Juri would always practice their abilities since a young age. She noted how to be truly good at something you had to start young, but humans (and most other things for that matter) did start running at a young age.
But this girl, Misaki Leahshi, seemed unsure of her ability to run. And she mentioned a tragic accident. Kuroda sensei guessed that it had something to do with the girl's legs or in some way, disabled her from being able to run.

But, she did not dare to inquire.
"I want all my students to be strong," Kuroda sensei said. "I won't treat you any different to the others. Now, we must hurry and talk about your punishment. I did say one hundred push-ups and a detention. I think I'll change that to... Every lunchtime you will be in the detention room for the next week; doing whatever the detention room's assinged teacher tells you to do. If you're lucky, you'll get a nice one. On top of that, after school--since you are so determined to get strong--you will run consecutively for an hour around the track. No stopping. And you will do five cricuits before the start of each PE lesson; unless I tell you otherwise."

Kuroda sensei looked through her oddly coloured eyes into the more naturally coloured eyes of the student.
"Do you agree with your punishment?"

[Leahshi-sama]

"Hai, Sensei." was all the first year said, her voice soft. "And what of the other two?" She wanted to know their fates that she had dragged them into.

[Haizea]

Kuroda sensei would have smiled if she was that type of person. She was glad to see that the young girl had agreed.
But, the teacher reminded herself, that doens't mean that she'll do it. I'm gonna have to keep a sharp eye on her.

"Their fates?" Kuroda sensei asked, to check that she had heard quickly, which she quickly realised she had. "After the pushups they are doing now, I'll let them slide with one hundred push ups and an after school detention today. I hope that sits with you since I'm not changing my kind about that."

[Leahshi-sama]

"Hai, Kuroda-sensei." The girl listened as the bell rang. She stood from the seat, bowing to the woman. "If you may excuse me, I must be going to the locker room to get ready for my next class."

And with that, she left.

Kuroda Ruki was glad and thankful that that period was over. She picked up the roll for her next class and started to go over their names, then curiosity made Kuroda Ruki look at what year she had just been teaching; since that information never really bothered her enough to memorise it.

"A-4, First Years," Kuroda Ruki read off the title of it. "Guess I'm stuck with those buggers for another two years. Unless they switch schools or something."

Deciding that she'd better get up and greet and torture her next class, Kuroda Ruki picked up the appropriate roll and walked out of her office.
