Weyrbowl
The Weyrbowl is the main part of the Weyr. Tunnels lead into the Weyrbowl from Ivy Cliff Hold and Shadowfall Hold.

Rider's Weyrs
The Rider's Weyrs are housed all along the inside face of the Weyr itself. There are many rooms, well over 500, but only 25 are currently occupied. There is a ledge for the Dragon to land and take off at as well as a sleeping area for them. All the Riders share a bathing area.

Candidates' Barracks
The Candidate Barracks are located almost directly next to the Hatching Sands.

The Infirmary
On the Southern side of the Weyrbowl lies the Infirmary. Shadowfall Weyrfolk come here from sunburns to Threadscored skin. This is located near the herdbeast corral.

Kitchens
The kitchens are found at the very bottom of the Weyr and very near the Lower Caverns. Several cooking hearths are found here as well as many skewers for herdbeasts and other kinds of creatures.

The Lower Caverns
The Lower Caverns is mostly for storaging things. Some of the corridors lead to the underwater springs as well as Candidate Barracks, the Kitchens, the Riders' Weyrs, the Weyrling Barracks, and the Weyrleaders' cave.

Underground Springs
Two underground springs one for washing and one for the Riders and their Dragons. Both are of equal temperature in warmth and both lead to a river that runs underground where the Riders get their water from.

Herdbeast Corral
Herdbeasts are kept here for food and other materials. The keepers of these creatures have their own living quarters near the corral.

Hatching Sands
This is one of the largest caves in the Weyr, as well as being the only one with an open roof. The floors are covered with soft hot sand kept heated by the Weyrs' natural hot-springs underneath.

The skies above Shadowfall Weyr are for practicing Thread fighting moves and leisurely flights with companions.

Weyrling Barracks
This set of caves is located near the Riders' Weyrs. There is a study place for the Weyrlings to study their lessons, bathe, and sleep. The Dragons also have a special place for their own bathing, sleeping, and restroom.

Outside Shadowfall Weyr
Shadowfall Weyr is set in the mountains which means it has dangerous places where one can fall without realizing it until it is too late. Evergreen trees cover many areas of Shadowfall Weyr and provide shade as well as cover on extremely hot days. Weyrlings and Candidates are forbidden to come this far without an escort, but that does not stop them from doing so anyway.

Hold Courtyard
This is found inside the main wall of Ivy Cliff and is home to Ivy Cliff's Wher and his/her Handler. A small, but spacious building is here for the Wherhandler to live.

The Inner Hold
The Inner Hold is built into the mountainside like Shadowfall Weyr. Many rooms are for Hold residents and guests, but there are also rooms storage. The kitchens are located near the back area of the Hold and the dining area is set almost directly next to it.

The Marketplace
The Marketplace is a large open area that has many stalls for food and other materials. Some stalls are only temporary as they are only open when there is a Gather.

The Outer Hold
The Outer Hold holds many smaller Holds that Ivy Cliff has control over. Each smaller Hold has it's own beauty and charm to add to the Ivy Cliff's territory.

Ivy Cliff Hold
The Ivy Cliff Hold is held just outside the Outer Holds. Many things can be seen here. Colors, foods from all over, etc. You come here to dance, make friends, and gather news from other Weyrs and Holds. The trees leaves and flowers are purple like and have a sweet smell when sniffed. These trees make Ivy Cliff Hold a very peace like place to live.

Views of Ivy Cliff Hold
In the distant north you can see a river flowing. It sparkles when the sun and the moons shine on it. To the east there seems to be nothing interesting. The southside faces Shadowfall Weyr and Shadowfall Hold. The westside shows a pond where Dolphin Hold, White Water Hold, and Reaching Waters Hold are located. The trees in Ivy Cliff Hold are very pretty to look at. They provide a romantic and peaceful environment.
