The female Eunectes Murinus is the infamous twenty-six foot three inch record (sixteen foot five inch average) green snake, however, the male is much smaller, skinnier and...red!
There is also a subspecies the Yellow Anaconda, Eunectes Notaeus, however, it only grows up to six feet to nine feet on average and ten feet in record. Their eyes are at the very top of their head so it can come up only enough to see above the water (think of a hippo poking its head out of the water; it's like that, only the eyes) and the nostrils are also situated towards the top of the muzzle. *runs around in a circle* Lollollollollol* -------------------- Can't this happen in the actual series instead of photoshop?

One thing I heard about anacondas as well as any snake that kills by restriction, if I understand correctly, a common myth is that the prey dies because of suffocation, but what really kills the victim is ruptured vessels in the brain, I think, caused by the pressure the snake is applying.

Could be possible. Maybe with smaller prey, perhaps. I can guess that it might pop the vessel in say, a baby capybara, but maybe an adult might suffocate. But I can definitely say that a bunch of bones could be broken, maybe even the spine where the spinal cord (as tough as it is) would be severed.

Oh wait, I think I was wrong. I was sure that blood vessels popping caused death. Maybe sometimes it does, but here's a snippet I found on an anaconda page:
