Soaring Eagles Magical Academy (mainly referred to as 'SEMA' by staff and pupils) is a boarding school for young witches and wizards from all across Northern America. SEMA's primary goals are to teach these youths of their gifts for the better, though there are always those who stray from the pack. Set up many years ago, the school still brings it more and more students every year, and each year is more eventful than the last.

In Sema there are four seperate houses. Those being; Atra, Lumen, Aqua and Solum.
Atra;; the house of darkness. Much like Slytherin in some aspects, though it is purely for those Wizards and Witches who excel in matters such as the Dark Arts. Students in Atra are well known for their abilities to both speak parseltongue, and shadow shift. Atra has housed a great number of notorious magical beings, and those within it are never up to much good. The people in Atra very rarely converse with other people from the other houses unless it is to their own advantage. Essentially, if you are sorted into Atra then you are destined for evil.
Lumen;; the house of light. Essentially the opposite of Atra, students from the Atra and Lumen houses seem to have a knack for disliking each other a great deal. Lumen students are incredibly gifted in matters such as astronomy and divination. Due to their ability to keep clear minds and focus on problems, they are incredibly able when it comes to problem solving. For the most part they are fairly studious and concentrate more on their studies.
Aqua;; the house of the deep blue. This is where a great deal of the more famous Wizards and Witches come from. Students in this house are well known to be extremely open and affectionate beings, they are the kinds of people who would lend anyone a hand under any circumstances. Their gentle nature and warm affections make them the kind of people you'd want to be friends with. Loyal until the end, it's likely that they stick with their friends through a hurricane if presented with one.
note;; we are currently not accepting aqua's until the other three houses fill up a little more
Solum;; the house of earth. Pure substance is what makes these students what they are. They are ambitious, independant, daring and perhaps even courageous on occasion. Solum students tend to be a lot more open and proud than most of the other students. They tend to find it harder to concentrate in class, though for the most part they are still intelligent people, perhaps just not so much as those who might have been sorted into Lumen.
There is no sorting hat, instead the students are required to sit through a half hour assignment which takes place on their very first day at the school. Each student is given a piece of paper with twenty questions on it, and are required to answer the questions to the best of their abilities. To make sure that the answers are truthful, the students are handed pens that have been enchanted to make certain that no answer is untruthful. As an extra precaution in recent years, the papers themselves have also been enchanted to stop the use of any students using a writing tool other than the one they are handed at the beginning of the assignment. Once the half hour is up, or all questions have been answered, the page then turns blank and the crest of the house they belong to shows up on the piece of paper.
Our admins have created a quiz, especially to determine the school house you will be in at SEMA. Remember, no one is sorted into the wrong house. (The Paper)
