When Kyri woke up that morning she had forgotten were she was. She stared up at the ceiling, trying to grasp the memory of her dream, still half asleep, she tossed and turned around, finding she was cramped up against the edge of her bed. And was startled fully awake by a warm sticky substance brushing against her cheek. "Wha....The..?!!" She opened her eyes wide to find her giant sundasher, Creed, snuggled up against her, taking up half of the bed and licking her face with his big pink toung.

Kyri pushed him away gently, laughing a little, and it all came rushing back to her, enrolling in the academy, the might of the dragons, meeting Creed, and breathed a sigh of relief when she remembered that she no longer had her step-mom to worry about. She sat up in her bed and rumbled around looking for her glasses, which she quickly put on. she looked down at Creed, who was thumping his giant tail in a small sleepy wag. He looked up at her with sleepy golden eyes, and Kyri admired his silver blue-gray fur. Then she stood up and stretched, and examined herself in the mirror.

She was tall sand flat chested, with short messy dark maroon and brown hair that was cut like a boys. She had dark hazel eyes, and pale skin that sun-burned easily. She turned to her wardrobe, which was full of mens clothing, she hated women's clothing, and in particular, women themselves. She dressed herself and Creed stood up and stretched, giving out a big yawn, exposing his mouth full of deadly fangs.

The first thing on both minds was breakfast, Sense both had rather big appetites. Kyri beckoned Creed in silent morning ritual, and they both walked, well rather stomped, outside of the dorm towards the feeding area. kyri didn't like talking in the morning, she didn't like getting up either, or going to sleep at all for one thing. Outside the weather was great, and while Kyri munched on a muffin, Creed took down some sheep. After breakfast, she and Creed headed towards the field. Creed plopped himself down and tried to go to asleep again, and Kyri sighed.

Although she was glad the war was won, she felt a bit cheated out of the excitement, she wished she could of helped, all the war stories she had heard sounded so exciting! she could't help but feel a bit battle hungry. "Well, now at least, with all these warriors returning home, I'll hear a bunch of juicy stories, eh, Creed?" The giant silver blue wolf flicked his ear to say he heard and made a small "Mmm hrggmm" sound with his throat. Kyri Stretched her arms out, and then let herself free fall onto Creed's tummy. Creed barley reacted, and Kyri used Creed's soft fur as a pillow. She placed her hands behind her neck, and stared up at the sky, watching the clouds pass by.

Sebastian and Rin had been out for a quick morning run before he went to go find busiwork. He had heard rumors of a project being set in motion, but he didn't know anything and then it could be all in his head. He hadn't been getting much sleep lately.

Rinalias joined him after cleaning herself off. There wasn't much activity out in the field this morning. Some Dire's hunted, with or without partners. Occasionally a dragon would swoop down and catch a sheep, and there was a dire laying down off more towards the Academy. He stretched and paid no heed to the two and instead concentrated on the 200 hundred pound puppy who now begged for his attention.

Rin nudged him with his nose and he laughed, loud enough that it probably rolled across the fields. However, he didn't really care. He tapped her, and took off at a small sprint. Rin waited several minutes before taking off after him, easily bounding up to him and then in front of him where she nudged him again before taking off in the opposite direction.

Sebastian grinned, and followed. Rin wasn't really trying to run, it was more of a fast trot, that worked for their purpose. It took him a couple of minutes of chasing her in circles before he caught her, a hand placed on her rump.

Rin yipped in excitement, turning around to chase Sebastian again when she felt the tag on her behind. This was one of her favorite things to do. Play tag. Or chase. Or track. But at the moment, she was happy spending the time with him. Lately, she could tell he wasn't acting right, staying up later than normal and then getting up early off doing whatever it was he did. For the past couple of days, she hadn't been able to have this kind of time alone together, and she was extremely pleased. She let this show in her yips and yaps she did as they tagged each other back and forth. She didn't care if she was loud. They were outside, and getting the exercise.

Kyri found that as she was staring up into the sky, she had closed her eyes for moment and almost fell asleep again. She jerked herself awake, sat up and yawned, then rubbed at her eyes. She looked at Creed, who was surprisingly laying with his head raised, eyes alert, staring up ahead. He flicked his ears at Kyri's movements but didn't stop staring. Kyri, curious, looked in the direction Creed was pointing his stare. At first, Kyri saw nothing but two new people entering the field. But with closer examination, realized she had not met them before.

She stood up and stretched, based on the way Creed was acting, he had also not met them before yet. So, maybe they were new? Or better yet, maybe they were returned warriors?! Creed stood up, and gave a small "Uff" noise with his throat. He was eager to meet the people, and upset that they were not, as new people in his turf, examining him closely or paying him any attention. He stood up, his massive size rather breath taking, and walked proudly forward, showing off his blue silver fur.

Kyri, still stretching herself, had not noticed that Creed had walked an incredible distance away from her in moments. Then turned around to see the great sundasher bowing before the female dire and her partner. Kyri laughed and put up a trot to catch up with her dire. She could totally imagine, had Creed been able to talk, Creed saying something romantic and old aged like; 'My fair gentleman and Lady, what a fine pleasure it is to meet you on such a lovely morning.' or something similar.

She caught up with Creed, and panting just slightly said a shy hello as she patted Creed's shoulder rather nervously, she wasn't the best with social interactions, while Creed was a genius. Creed, sensing her discomfort, turned his massive head to softly nudge her.

Rin stopped her game of tag when another Dire suddenly approached them. He was a massive Sundasher and she eyed him carefully. She carefully approached the other Sundasher who made a weird gesture by touching his nose to the ground. Her silver eyes glinted curiously in the sunlight. When the rider approached, and said a sigh hello, she yipped softly back looking at the girl. These two were new.

Sebastian nodded his head in greeting to the massive Sundasher and Laughed when the wolf bowed. "Aren't you a pretty pup." He commented, reaching out his hand for the wolf to sniff, before he petted him. He wasn't sure of the temperament of the wolf, so it would be safest to let the wolf come to him. Even Rin seemed interested slightly in the two before them. When the girl said her hello softly, he grinned largely.

"Why hello there, dandelion. What brings you out here this fine morning? Sebastian's my name." He bowed, one arm behind his back, the other still out for creed to sniff. "Does Dandelion have a name that I might call her by? Or shall it just be Dandelion?" He straightened back up and winked.

Rin whuffed at his show, and seemingly rolled her eyes, before nudging him on the shoulder with her nose.

Creed was disappointed that the young female didn't seem to understand his greeting, and he tried to keep his dignity, and not trie to wag his whole in tire body in excitement. Then Creed was upset the new dire was paying more attention to his rider. He walked in front of Kyri, trying to keep all eyes on him. His tail raised ad wagging slightly.

Creed was satisfied with the new coming rider who called him "Pretty" He gave the man a wolfish smile. He surely was an exceptable young man, and when he reached out his hand to be sniffed, Creed nearly smashed his nose into the out strechted palm, begging for attention.

Kyri came forward, and blushed when Sebastian called her a "dandelion" She didn't like it when boys flirted with her, it made her feel awkward. Then when he winked at her she gulped a little nervously, and looked away, evading eye contact. "Er.. Hi." she said again.

"Umm, well, I'm Kyri, Kyri Wynd." she said. "I'm new here, and, er, this is Creed, He's been here awhile before I came."

Rin laughed, which came out as a chuffing sound from her chest. The other dire's over eagerness to have attention amused her. She whuffed again her greeting to the other dire, and sat on her haunches next to Sebastian. She leaned her nose out towards the much larger dire as was her way of meeting other dires.

"Kyri Wind, huh?" Sebastian replied, smiling at her. "And Creed. Yes, I see you too." He replied when his hand was headbutted. He started scratching the dire behind the ears. "New, huh? I'm fairly new myself. I've been meaning to go explore around here on my off days, but it never seems to happen. Assignments pop up or my Sisters dragon does and drags me off somewhere." He chuckled. "What brings you to the Academy." With the nervous banter of her hello, he eased off on the flirting. It was obvious to him that she didn't really take to guys flirting with her, and he would respect that. "How long have you been here? And How old is Creed?"
