These rules are here to make the site better, not to make you angry. If you have any issues with any one of these rules, please contact an admin or another staff member.

I. The first step is joining and creating an account. I would request that you use full words. No chatspeak or a plethora of numbers, underscores, and other distracting doo-dads.
II. Make sure to read all the rules and information before creating a character. This will avoid confusion.
III. When creating a character, follow the given guidelines. If you wish for your character to differ from the norm, please contact a staff member. If you are lucky enough to be given a rare character (such as a hybrid or rare dragon breed) make sure to play them often! We obviously think highly of you if you're given something extra-fancy, so please don't just take your shiny beasts and disappear.
IV. Please respect your fellow roleplayers. No cursing at them, threatening them, or harassment of any sort including overtly passive-aggressive behaviour. If you do, you will be temporarily or permanently banned.
V. Please, restrain from using chatspeak in any situation. This is a literate RP, so make literate posts. This includes proper grammar. Double-posting is also unnecessary, please use the edit button instead!
VI. If a board is labeled as private and you are not the party listed on it, please do not join.
VII. Stay within imaginable aspects when roleplaying. No turkeys that magically turn in to dragons.
VIII. Do not use excessive swearing, please. No salty sailors here.
IX. It goes without saying there should be no god-moding, power-playing or Mary-Sues nancing around. The staff will be keeping their eyes open for such behavior, and if you see any that violates basic netiquette please inform a member of staff. We'll politely fix the problem.
X. If you wish to kill another character, please discuss it with said character's roleplayer.
XI. During the dragon breeding season you may have as many of your dragons Fly as you like, but only 3 of your females may clutch and males may only win 2 females each. Males can still compete in as many Flights as their loin's heart's desire. Clutch size/variety and all other hatchling related decisions are to be made by staff. If you wish to have one of your pets breed, you must ask permission of the staff team, but you may be allowed to hold the hatching yourself.
XII. If you become inactive for more than a month without giving one of the admins notice, your characters will be moved to the Inactive Profiles section and the dragons/dires you gained during on-site hatchings will be put up for adoption. If you have not logged on for three months your account will be deleted.
XIII. Do not draw roleplaying feuds into the OOC chat.
XIV. Please do not ask for specific breeds of dragons during the hatchings, or refuse any. This is looked down upon and will not earn you any favors.
XV. Don't feel shy, please come and chat with us in the cbox! We're a friendly lot and we'd love to get to know new members. If you join and never make a peep, we'll have to assume you're not really here and your account will be deleted.
