We're a moderate to advanced original fantasy roleplay set in an original world where humans can bond to dragons with the use of magical crystals. The land is currently in celebration after the Tainted Lord has been removed from his black throne and his legions have been freed from his nefarious influence, but whether or not his soldiers will face punishment is yet to be seen.
THE CURRENT SEASON IS:
Early Spring
The Tainted Hatching has ended! The Tainted Queen has gone to great lengths to provide for her developing minions. She, along with the other devious mothers, has taken her unborn to Iyalruek where they have nested in the rubble of a forgotten era.
As a stunning surprise, amidst the cacophony of the laying, an escorted hybrid has presented a Dream Egg to the tainted host. What will this mean to the Sekkians? In the Hybrid's need to restore balance, have they doomed the whole of the country? Only time will tell.

So the other day I realized how much my character Ryle has developed lately, and wrote a little snippet for her and Valigar. When that happened, I realized that I really REALLY wanted to write her, but seeing as she's involved in Kess plots, and I don't know where she'll be left at the end of it, I held off. But I still wanted to write some more. So instead, I had a short conversation with her in Word (some of what I said correlates to what was written in the side story, so sorry for any confusion). I figured I'd put it up here :>

Not particularly. As Valigar so humorously summed up not long ago…I’ve quite possibly chased all my would be suitors all the way away to such places as Loth Angresan. Not to mention my reputation will probably perturb those who are left.

Only on your papers and in my head. You know as well as Valigar does that just because I may soften somewhat, doesn’t mean I’m instantly going to be spewing rainbows out of my ass.

Of course. And this is one of the better ways I can think of.

No. How could I? Luaria was the daughter of noble blood, she was destined to wed at a young age, preserve the bloodlines. Whereas Ryle is a dragon-rider, bonded to an Air. A survivor of a war, and a Shadowguarde. The two are completely different, night and day.

…Well …perhaps there are times. But I don’t tend to dwell on them as often as you’d think. My husband to be was, as you put it sometimes ‘a prig’ and I doubt my life with him would have been a joyful one.

I’ve never really given up the bottle even if it’s not been mentioned in my habits lately, though I’ve certainly been embracing it to a lesser degree lately now that the nightmares have faded.
But now that there’s new nightmare fodder…?

A try yes…But you know as well as I do that the likelihood of it amounting to anything on it’s own is slim.
And you know that I don’t really like to planned pair it, either.
So it’s a catch 22 then. I expected as much. Looks like we’ve both got nothing to be afraid of.

Don’t be. Remember, I merely told you my past, and our future is divided between the decisions of you, Valigar, and myself. Anything that happened from my introduction onward was of equal blame.

It certainly is refreshing to see the shock on people’s faces. I think they get a little used to scathing words.
