b.b.r. (before the birth of the rider)-Not much is know of this period of time except that the world was plagued with wars as humans and dragons dueled for supremacy.

b.r.(birth of the rider)

1 b.r. -The war between the dragons and humans has ended and a cooperative relationship begins. The war was ended when a dying mother dragon gave her egg and a crystal to a young boy, he was the first dragon rider.

109 b.r. -The first records of widespread dragon riding surface.

2143 b.r. -Sekkai is founded in the Eastlands during the Kahna Festival. The first Empress is also born during the festival.

2571 b.r. -Sekkai tries to claim the plains as part of their empire and the Midland tribes fight back.

2571 b.r. -The Battle at Hellman's Well marks the turning point in the war and Sekkain forces begin to sweep across the plains.

2572 b.r. -The Midland tribes are conquered and become part of Sekkai.

2611 b.r. -Vidalaner becomes part of Sekkai in a mutual military agreement.

2714 b.r. -Assarian nomads agree to become part of Sekkai.

2900 b.r. -The Westlands become part of Sekkai and Sekkai as it is known today is born.

3171 b.r. -Explorers discover a new island continent near Sekkai with seemingly endless supplies of natural resources.

3173 b.r. -The first settlers arrive on the new island continent. A few months later stories begin to leak out about strange happenings, murders and disappearances.

3177 b.r. -Settlers are no longer going to the island continent and no news is coming from it, all travel to the continent stops.

3255 b.r. -Seemingly random and unprovoked raids against Northern and Western villages begin, not many survive.

3262 b.r. -A Northern village is attacked and a counter attack of three wings was sent but arrived to late to stop the destruction.

3265 b.r. -The Tainted legion unveils its army and begins regular attacks, attempting to claim land for itself.

3266 b.r. -The Qih-nzak are awakened from their millennial hibernation by Septys.

3278 b.r. -Four successful hatchings bolster the Academy's army but it still suffers several brutal battles against the Taint and finally is devastated when Erebus leads a final charge against the Academy. Lihn, the last stronghold of Sekkai, is officially lost to the enemy.

3280 b.r. - Out of utter desperation a ferocious retaliation is launched on the Tainted forces occupying Lihn. With all their forces mustered into one contingent they valiantly rout the enemy from the Academy and reclaim Lihn and most of Nyushi.

3289 b.r. - The Taint suffer a crushing defeat, losing the Tainted Karma, Erebus.

3291 b.r. - The Tainted lord, Nightmare Nidhogg, is apprehended and put in the custody of the hybrids.
